Chapter 6

Blondie was huffing. But perhaps he did work out. Perhaps. His blonde hair was flopping around and a bead of sweat dropped down along his temple.

"H-How long?" he stumbles out, in French.

I look up the signs for directions, ignored his question, and yelled,"Left!"

His feet haulted a stop and quickly turned to the left.

"Miss. Hathaway, you are a strange girl!" he screams, as he races to backstage.

"Stay still!" I warn, climbing up on his shoulders.

Blondie looks at me with shock and astonishment but I concentrate on my mediocre gymnastic skills. The door frame was thick and bulges out so I could hold onto the edges. My violin was on the table so if I managed the double flip perfectly, I would be able to land right on the center of the stage in time.

"Blondie, I swear if you move... You will get a good taste of my taekwondo skills."

Blondie whimpered childishly but sternly nodded. His blonde hair covered his abnormal violet eyes but for some reason, my stare just kept fixed on him. Realizing that I might have my calculations mixed up, I tear my gaze away from him and focus once again.

Finally, I make the jump. Tamaki squeals a little before regaining his balance. I swoop down for a second to grab my violin with my right hand then holding the bow in my mouth. The stage was close. I could literally see the audience.

Praying to make a perfect landing, I steady my right feet first then land softly down on the middle of the stage. Everyone looked flabbergasted. They should be. I just jumped like 10 meters away from the main stage. I wasn't even sure that was possible.

Smiling nervously, I raise my violin and reorder my head for my solo that I need to perform. The conductor clears his throat and taps his wand on one of the violin stands. The music plays from the second violins and the third violins soon join in along with the cellos. I take a shaky breath and strum my bow onto the four musical strings giving off a harmonious sound. I love music. I admit. And this was actually enjoyable.

The blonde had made this fun. But with the sudden piercing judging stare from my manager, the joy that bubbled inside disappeared.
