"Hernine, beside you."

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three headshots and a round house kick and the bodies dropped.

"Assist!"

Hernando hollered and multiple barrels of guns locked in and then a multitude of shoots were carried out as the last body dropped and Amadio looked at me with a smirk, I rolled my eyes.

Show off.

"How many more, Zade, Les?"

"A whole lot, Nine. Behind you."

I ducked as soon as I felt a presence behind me and I kicked the girl's shin, her body dropping before I heard her gun shoot, but I didn't even feel an ounce of pain as the bullet grazed me, for I jumped on her, my one hand on her gun, turning it to the ceiling and the other on her neck.

I knocked over her gun and took a knife out of my pocket, "Where is your boss?", placing it on her jugular.

"Bitch—"

A slap was what she received.

No fucking disrespecting.

"Hernine, let her go—"

"Where is your fucking boss?!"

"Upstairs—ugh!" I chocked her harder.

"We covered that area before you even got here, so answer smartly."

Her face turned pale but a sicking smirk took over her face. "I killed him."

My face was unfazed.

"I killed him because he deserved to die. I have been ruling this place, stealing from you Hernine Acetta—"

I sliced her neck and got off her, her eyes wide as she clutched her neck that was a fountain of blood now, spraying my knees with the crimson.

I heard her chocking on her own blood as I threw my knife on the ground walking to Amadio.

"She's dead. I want her background check done."

"My men will handle."

And then my eyes were blessed, my heaves of breath turning calm as he took off his vest, took off his shirt and twisted it in a way, forwarding it to me.

"For your wound." I gave an understanding nod.

He approached me, tying it around my arm and then wore his vest back....on his naked torso.

Shaking my head off of lewd thoughts, I turned my earpiece on.

"Hernine, did you kill her—?"

"How many more?"

Leslie sighed and Juan spoke up from the van in my earpiece. "They're dead, Hernine. Come back—"

"Juan, I'll punch you if there is more people in this building."

"He's lying, there are people in a room downstairs, they have a lock— what? She would have killed you, you should be thankful—" I switched off the earpiece, walking to the basement as that's the only place left unbattered.

"Hernine, don't go alone." I stopped walking upon his call.

"Let's go." He walked past me and I took a deep breath, coming back from whatever trance of being a killing machine I had just gotten into.

We walked downstairs, our steps slow and cautious.

We shared a look and he passed me a gun and I stepped down, hiding behind the basement pillar, the shelves and floors around me, dusty.

I could hear hushed voices from a distance and Amadio signalled for his men to come with.

I rolled my eyes. Why so serious? Let me just barge in. I mouthed and he shook his head, his men barging in rooms after rooms.

"Shut up, gem." He placed his lips on mine when I opened my mouth to object and I smiled against his lips, my tension dissipating.

He broke off, lowering my gun down from how I had subconsciously placed it on his chest.

I looked at him with a glint of humour in my eyes and he shook his head, his lips glistening with my salivated kisses.

The man looked utterly delicious with specks of blood covering his right cheek and his dark hair messy, but his eyes? His eyes were light and attractive as ever.

One last shared look, and we ran off behind the screams we heard, my gun landing on anyone found, leaving only one man alive for being little temporary plaything.

"Who's your boss?"

The man gulped, crawling away as I approached him.

"The-the woman y-you killed up-upstairs." My eyes glanced to the surveillance screen hung up on the ceiling of the room. I looked back at the man.

"Why did she steal so many drugs from me and why'd she kill your former boss?"

"Sh-she is his s-ister and they had an- argument, please d-d-don't kill me!" He screamed, his scream fearful and the cogs inside my head turned.

"I won't if you don't lie. Get up."

He got up.

He didn't look a day over early twenties.

I sighed. "S-she stole b-because she led a g-gang who strived for d-drugs."

I gave a nod, looking at Hernando who nodded, immediately talking on his earpiece.

"Who are you?"

"A-a guy in h-her gang."

My eyes roamed his disheveled self, seeing his bloodshot red eyes and the multitude of injections beside him.

"Did they force you to take drugs?"

He didn't say anything and just looked down, his hands shaking.

My hands on my gun tightened. They did.

"What-what are y-you going t-to do to m-me?"

"I'm still deciding." His eyes widened.

"You know who I am?" He nodded quickly and I looked at Amadio for this was his case to deal with.

An unknown small gang had been found stealing from us upon inspection, for my shipment drugs were being stolen from the warehouse. Found one of my women in the warehouse being a rat and stealing right from my shipments.

She was dead long before she found out that I had known all this long, and then it was time for the gang to get destructed.

And the things that I hated, were liars and thieves.... And they fell right into its category.

Amadio was bored so he hopped on the mission.

The man was worried about me going after a gang.... A gang, when I'm a heiress to the biggest mafia.

Sighs.

"We'll have him sent out to our rehabilitation centers if he deserves it and turns out to be truthful." He spoke up after we walked out the room.

Ironic how he we sold drugs and he didn't and had instead, rehabilitation centers.

I nodded staring off to the door where Hernando was dealing with the guy older than me, with blood red eyes and an addiction that wasn't even his.

"Right... Thanks."

"As I said, no need, I was bored."

My head turned to look at him, and my eyebrow rose. "Really, dio?"

"Mhmm, you want me to kiss you to make you believe that?"

I rolled my eyes, a lazy smile on my face. "Shut up."

"Sì, princesa."

I gave a mock scoff and he had a smug look on his face.

Footsteps had me turning in their direction, "Hernine, it's settled, Amadio can take him?" Hernando came out asking me, but his eyes were on the man who kisses me and makes my cold heart race.

"I will."

Hernando nodded, and turned to me. "I thought I told you to stay put?"

"When do I ever listen?" Hernando looked annoyed and I laughed.

He turned away in exasperation, muttering words of me being an  annoying twin when Amadio just shook his head, grabbing my jaw and placing a kiss on my lips.

Now that's a steal I wouldn't mind.
