Story time!

My dog is a toy poodle and is a female, I might put a picture of her in one of the chapters.  I get distracted easily so no promises.

Anyway, her name is Dixie and she likes to run around.  By run, I mean like a lightning bolt.  She as fast as a football is thrown.  She is just a puppy so she seems to be full of energy.

Anyway, I have a long driveway and while she was just paddering away from me to the road, I barked at her.  Believe it or not, usually when I bark she turns right back around and playfully chases me back to my house.  Ha, no, not this time.  She just looked back and started to the road again.  Then I slipped off my sandals and ran after her with nothing on my feet except for socks.

Dixie ran across the road, I had to stop a mail man.  Thankfully there weren't any other cars.  Then she went into the neighboring neighborhood that was okay.

Thank gods there was a family at the house on the corner. The mother came forward and was basically trying to get Dixie to come to her.  The dog stopped running and just stared at her.  I snuck up behind Dixie and snatched her up.  From there, I just walked all the way back to my house.  That was the most excersize that I had gotten all year.

Why did I tell the story even though it isn't that funny?  Because I'm bored and you probably are too.
