Another challenge of playing guitar was string skipping. This is when you have to pluck nonadjacent strings.

And this was pretty difficult because you end up hitting the wrong strings. And of course, you can't use a pick so this is another reason why you should grow out the nails on your strumming hand.

And it used to be pretty confusing, this string skipping stuff. Because when you're looking at the notes or tab, you may be strumming or playing single notes, or just playing adjacent strings. And then it says to play a note on the A string and G string, and your like "wtf?"

So yeah, this can be a problem.
