WARNING: It's Saturday morning and I've been locked in my room ever since Thursday afternoon. Ever since, I only ate a pop tart and a cheeseburger from McDonalds, so I don't feel very well. This chapter may turn out as a mumble jumble of words and may get confusing, proceed with caution.

There are so many different kinds of chords!! For example, there is at least 6 ways to do a G chord!! Why so many? So if we are learning a song, and it says to do a G chord, but doesn't clarify which G chord, we either just got do whichever we feel like it, or watch the artist of the song playing on YouTube and watch their hands to determine which one. 

Also, (this wasn't so hard for me, because I started off by playing chords) some people start guitar by playing single notes.

Let me try to explain something here. At my school, we have trimesters instead of semesters. Most schools have semesters I think? But we have 3 trimesters a year, and each trimester, we are given an elective, and we can't choose what we get. So I was given a beginners guitar class. Because I've been a beginner for a few years now, you know. (Sarcasm) But the class seemed more like it was for kids who had no idea what the hell a guitar is. (My intimidating dad later went up to the teacher and told her that I shouldn't be in the class but she just let me bring in my own sheet music) so I watched the other kids learn to play. They started off with learning individual notes. The first day went like this:

"And if you play the string on the bottom (long pause) it's an e. (Long pause) and if you put your finger on the first square, which is called a fret, (long pause) it's an F. And if you put your finger on the third fret, (long pause) it's a G"

And that's how far we got on the first string, up to G.

So we did only three notes on each string expect the sixth string. And then the teacher taught everyone chords. So to them, it was a struggle because they were used to putting only one finger at a time and all of a sudden they got to put three fingers at once!

I forgot where I was going with this. And I'm too tired to backspace and I'm too tired to find out what I was doing. But this was a problem, somehow?
