Personality:
Max is a shy and introverted teenager, often avoiding social situations due to his anxiety. He has trouble expressing himself and often appears distant, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about others. His autism sometimes makes it difficult for him to connect emotionally, and he can be overwhelmed by loud noises, crowds, or intense emotions from others. Despite his quieter nature, he is highly intelligent, analytical, and loyal, especially to his teammates. Once someone earns his trust, they'll find him a dependable friend.

Max deeply struggles with the intensity of his powers. He sees them as a curse, as they can easily spiral out of control, leading him to distance himself from others out of fear he'll hurt them. He's especially vulnerable in moments of high stress, when either his heat or cold powers can manifest uncontrollably.

Powers and Abilities:

Heat Manipulation: Max can generate extremely high temperatures, enough to burn through nearly anything. His control over the heat is still in development, and it's hard for him to regulate the intensity. In moments of extreme anger or fear, the temperature can spike uncontrollably, causing damage to everything around him.

Cold Manipulation: On the opposite side, Max can also absorb heat from his surroundings, causing freezing temperatures. He can lower the temperature of entire regions, turning them into ice or snow, and has the potential to freeze cities if he's unable to rein in the cold. His powers are equally volatile on this side, and when he's overwhelmed or too emotionally stressed, Max might accidentally freeze or overwhelm a room with ice without meaning to.

Temperature Immunity: Due to his powers, Max is impervious to extreme temperatures, whether heat or cold. This immunity allows him to exist in both states for extended periods without harm.

Weaknesses:

Emotional Control: The stronger his emotions (especially fear, anxiety, or anger), the less control he has over his powers. When triggered by stress, his heat powers can burn uncontrollably, or his cold powers may blanket an entire area in icy chill.

Isolation: Due to his difficulty in communicating, Max often isolates himself to protect others from the consequences of his powers. This leads to loneliness and feelings of guilt.

Background:
Max grew up in a small town, a quiet child who struggled to fit in. He was often considered strange or distant due to his shy behavior and difficulty relating to peers. His powers first manifested during a particularly stressful event at school when a bullying incident caused him to accidentally freeze half the classroom. Overwhelmed by what he could do, Max became more withdrawn, terrified of hurting anyone.
