Plot: A group of friends have been playing the card game with each other for as long as they can remember, and all of them have been fans of the anime for just as long, and going to their local card shop with each other. As they get older, things happened, and then they came in and out of friendship, drifting slightly but sort of remaining in touch all of the time. One year, the creator of the game, Kuroto decides to have a little bit of a publicity stunt to make the game reach new audiences around the world, and so creates the card game's equivalent of the Tournament of Power.

Around the world, seven other tournaments are being hosted. The winners of each of these tournaments gets a ' Dragonball' which they can use to go and join the main Tournament of Power. In the Tournament of Power itself, when you battle with someone, the winner takes the Dragonball from the loser, until someone has all seven of them, which makes them the winner of the tournament. The winner of the tournament then gets to battle with Kuroto and become ' An apprentice God of Destruction' which would let them work directly for the company, and become a certified professional player.

Characters: I had six characters in mind for this, each of them based personality and play-style wise off one of my favorite characters from the anime, and I was thinking you could make the seventh, that way one of them goes to one of the seven tournaments which lead up to the Tournament of Power.

Gary- The first member of the friend group who got into the game, and introduced the others to it. He's sort of the standard Shonen main character, but with some differences, like not relying on luck, and being much more competitive and less laid back. He uses a Super Saiyan 3 deck. Recently, he's been getting more into the game, wanting to make a career out of playing it

Vega- The second member who was into the game. He was a prodigy, and the first to become competitive with it, and the first one to optimize his deck. Now, Vega is a much more competitive player who still loves the game, but much more so to compete than for casuals. He uses a Super Vegito deck

Kyla- Kyla wasn't a fan of the game until later in her life, when she was a kid, she was much more content to watch the others play, and cheer them on. But, she got into it, and while she's super laid back outside of games, when she plays, she gets super into it, and super fired up. She uses a Kefla deck

Bryce- Bryce was into the game before Gary, technically, but Gary was the first one who was able to afford the game due to Bryce being poor. He uses the game to cope with his family being in prison, and also to make money in some gambling circles. He uses a Broly Deck.

Jayla- Jayla was a super laid back person when she was a kid, and she loved to play the game also, but she got tired of being looked down on by the first card shop she went to, which did have a sexist player base. While her new one doesn't, she still expects to be looked down on, and so is a super serious player. She uses a Jiren Deck

Kuroto- The creator of the game. These days, he does much more to promote the series, but he still created it. As per the rules, even he has to qualify for the Tournament of Power for winning a Dragonball, and so he uses a Beerus deck.
