Chapter 58 - Mpreg Special 10
Mpreg Special 10 - The first vacation as a family
Since three years now Zhan and I are parents and love it. And to celebrate, because our twins now no longer need diapers at night, we decided to fly with them on vacation. We chose the Caribbean for it!
Grandpa Xiao and Eve did not accompany us. The two of them wanted to make themselves comfortable at home. Because sometime in the past almost four years, the two started liking each other a lot and then liking each other even more until it finally became love and they got married a year ago. A very late new love for Grandpa Xiao that makes him at least 20 years younger.
But first, back to the family vacation in the Caribbean. It all started with our twins' first flight. I could still remember sitting on the plane for the first time and panicking. Luckily, Zhan was with me and quickly calmed me down. Our twins, on the other hand, were not anxious at all. They were really excited and could hardly wait.
Bravely and orderly, we boarded the plane and took our seats. When the plane took off, they were very quiet. They held hands and giggled excitedly. As soon as we reached our flight altitude, it didn't take long for the two of them to fall asleep.
Once we arrived in the Caribbean, we took a rental car from the airport to our private vacation home with the private beach, which we had booked specially. We unpacked our belongings, also the twins and then talked about the rules at and in the water. We explained to both of them that without a swim tire, they are not allowed to just go into the water. They both nodded and said they understood.
Then we put on swimming trunks and blew up the swimming rings for Wangji and Ying. Then we went outside together. Wangji dutifully took my hand and slowly walked with me to the water. Ying, well, I only saw how he suddenly ran naked and without swimming ring on and fell headlong into the water. Shortly after, Zhan ran past us and pulled Ying out of the water.
But was the little rebellious punk scared? No! He wanted to go again and again and again. And then, of course, without disturbing swim trunks and swimming hoops. Wangji, as always, calmly said, "A-Ying this is for your protection after all."
To which the punk, I mean Ying replied, "You're just scared!" And again charged and jumped into the water. Like a dog, he paddled around his dad in the water.
Wangji looked at me with his sweetest look and said, "Daddy, I'm good. I won't do it." He did say that, but after getting a small bucket of water from Ying, he chased after him and into the water. It didn't take long for the two of them to turn and tussle with each other in the sand and water. They just romped wildly, as we are used to by now.
Zhan was absolutely right. The two were barely a year old when it started with them. They transformed themselves more and more often and romped around the house. Afterwards they were always exhausted. Especially when their dad and great-grandpa Xiao also joined in.
So while our boys were frolicking on the beach, Zhan and I were enjoying some sunbathing. We laid on our beach chairs and watched our sons. I believe not a day has gone by that I haven't felt this tingling inside me and almost bursting with pride.
The two are very different. This was already apparent shortly after their birth. But now you can really see it. Wangji is more the calm and sensible one, who approaches everything with caution. We recently had to buy him some notebooks and pens. He uses them to write. So he can't write yet. But in his imagination he can. But his favorite thing to do is to retreat to his dad and have him read to him. He also wants to learn to read soon.
Ying is a real whirlwind. He is bursting with energy. He loves to be out in the forest with Great-Grandpa Xiao, exploring the forest. Sometimes the two of them hunt together. But when Ying has had enough, he comes to me. He cuddles up to me and then I have to stroke his back until he falls asleep.
Both together are a great mix. When they are not fighting in the house or outside, they play in their room. Most of the time they play school. Wangji is the teacher and Ying is the naughty student. They make up stories together and have their own adventures. I honestly never thought they could do this even at three years old. But they can. Very well, in fact!
The two still sleep in the same bed. They do not want to sleep alone. Not even when the other bed is only a meter away. We have often watched the two of them sleeping. Most of the time Ying lies with his head on Wangji's back or belly. Totally cute!
But what we also observed was that Wangji doesn't like it when Ying plays with other kids. He is very possessive and always scolds the other kids that A-Ying is his brother and not the other kids'. And Ying can't stand it when Wangji looks sad. He often starts crying when he can't make Wangji laugh. The result is always that Wangji has to comfort Ying and make him laugh.
But back to the vacation. Zhan and I had to laugh heartily once again. The two of them frolicked around and at some point it came back to playful fighting with them. They both lifted their butts up, wagged their tails and tried to growl threateningly. But unfortunately, they sounded sweet as sugar in the process!
Well, anyway, the two were running towards each other, ready to defeat the other, when Ying tripped over his paws, crashed into Wangji, and they both rolled into the water. Completely stunned, they shook themselves and were about to continue fighting when a wave in the water knocked them both over and Ying squealed in fright. Wangji then grabbed Ying by the back of the neck with his mouth and dragged him back to the sand. When Ying wanted to go back to the water, Wangji pulled him back by the tail to our beach chairs and then wouldn't let him go again.
They then both lay curled up in the sun, sleeping while letting their fur dry. They were so tired that they didn't even notice when we carried them into the house.
Later when they were awake again, we overheard the two of them talking and Wangji uttering words of warning to Ying. "A-Ying, you must not go into the water alone. You won't be able to breathe." He meant that Ying might drown. But didn't know the right word.
"I'm already tall, though. I can do it." Ying replied.
"I'm taller than you!"
"Not at all."
"Sure! Ask Daddy!"
"Daddy, Daddy."
"Stop that A-Ying!"
"I'm doing nothing."
"Yes, you are."
"Wangji?"
"What?"
"Do you want to play?"
"And what?"
"Ball?"
"We don't have a ball here."
"Then Dad has to buy us one."
"He doesn't have to."
"But I want to play ball."
"We can play school."
"No don't want to. You always give me so much homework."
"So you can study."
"But what?"
"Well, everything."
"But I can't read."
"I can teach you A-Ying."
"Why can you read?"
"Because that's what I learned. I'll show you." Wangji picked up a advertising sheet and read a story he had just made up. And Ying was totally amazed by his reading skills. He handed him one advertising sheet after another and Wangji had to read them all to him.
Afterwards, Ying said, "Awww you are so great Wangji."
"You can do it soon too."
"You think so?"
"Yes. I'll teach you."
"Yay. I'll be able to read like you soon."
"Mn."
"But what are we going to play?"
"Cards?"
"No. How about dice?"
"Boring. You always win."
"Wangji?"
"Yes what?"
"I'm hungry."
"Well, come on then. We'll ask dad to cook us something."
"Mn. Meat!"
"Vegetables too."
"Bah. I just want meat."
"A-Ying, vegetables are healthy."
"Ewww Healthy."
"Come on. We'll ask dad."
"Okay." Said Ying and the two of them came to us. They asked Zhan to make them something to eat. And being the good dad that he is, they didn't have to ask him twice and he went to the kitchen with the two of them. They wanted to help cook dinner. I think Ying just wanted to make sure Zhan didn't cook too many vegetables.
After dinner, we put them in the bathtub and put them to bed. As usual, we read them a story. But that night they didn't make it to the end of the story and fell asleep sooner.
Zhan and I then went outside to the beach again. We set up two candles. One for my dad, who died a year after his second cancer diagnosis. The other for my stepmother, who died just two months after my dad. She suffered a cardiac arrest and died in her sleep. We suspect she just didn't want to live any longer after my dad died. We buried them next to each other.
And so that it wouldn't be noticeable that we hadn't aged, Zhan and I got professional makeup to make us look older. That was my brother's idea. We left the twins at home and went to my father's funeral without them for the first time. That was really weird not having them with us. They were still too small for that kind of thing. Eve therefore looked after them.
My brother has meanwhile given up his career. He and Cheng now live with their daughter on the pack's farm. They still haven't told their daughter that my brother is no longer human. But I think she knows. A few months ago, when they were all visiting us, she said to me that she knew her dad was different. I didn't say anything about it. My brother and Cheng will have to explain that to her.
Our vacation went on quite relaxed. After the first night, we went shopping the next day. And being a good dad, Zhan also bought the two of them a ball. It lasted about an hour after we got back to the beach. Because the two of them completely shredded it with their teeth. I then suggested to Zhan that we buy chewy bones, but two out of three wolves didn't think that was funny at all.
Wangji immediately lectured me and said, "Daddy, we're not dogs!"
Ying asked me after thinking for a moment, "Daddy? Do they have meat flavor?" And Zhan fell into peals of laughter over this. Ying would eat and devour anything, the main thing is that it tastes like meat!
So I enlightened him and said, "A-Ying, Daddy was just kidding. You don't get chewy meat."
"Oh too bad. Mhhh, can we have meat today?" He asked me.
"Yeah sure A-Ying. You do get your meat every day."
"And vegetables." Interjected Wangji.
"Yes, my love. Vegetables too." I confirmed to him. And Ying immediately grimaced again. If it were up to him, there would always be meat every day and nothing else. Well, now and then an ice cream or a lollipop. But the main thing would be meat.
"How about Daddy cooking for all of us today?" Zhan asked them both.
"No, please don't." The two replied at the same time, pretending to shake with fear.
"Well wait you little rascals. Now I'm going to get you and then you're both coming on the grill tonight!" I shouted and ran after the two. They laughed and kept shouting that I wouldn't get them anyway.
In the end, Zhan had cooked after all and they didn't end up on the grill. And after dinner, before we bathed them, we had something important to tell them.
So we sat down with both of them on the sofa in the living room and Zhan smiled lovingly at me before saying to both of them, "Daddy and I have some important news for you. You are getting a baby sister. Grandma Eve said it's going to be a little girl!"
Ying looked at me questioningly, "Daddy has a baby in his belly?" I nodded. He then stroked my belly and said, "Hi sister. It's me A-Ying. We're going to have a lot of fun. I love you."
Wangji even got really emotional and a few tears of joy flowed from him. He clung to me and when the tears dried, he too caressed my belly and said, "Hello sister. I am Wangji. And I will always protect you. I love you."
The two of them then spoke to my belly some more in a secret language they had made up and caressed it until it was time for the bath and bed.
For Zhan and me, this had been news that we absolutely did not expect. I only noticed, as with the twins, that my pants no longer fit me properly. Eve examined me and found out that I was pregnant. And although we neither expected it nor planned it, we were very happy about it.
According to Eve, I am now 18 weeks pregnant. And our daughter is doing very well in my belly. I am really looking forward to the little one. And of course all our friends and relatives. Very soon there will be another big celebration. After all, the pregnancy must be celebrated properly.
