After little Yizhan woke me up by making a very loud meow, meow, meow, I immediately put him on his litter box and then quickly heated his milk for a few seconds in the microwave. I don't want him to get a tummy ache from cold milk.

When he did his business in the litter box, which smelled super bad, I put him in front of the plate with the milk and he was so greedy for it that he ended up with his whole face in it. Which didn't bother him though. He shook himself once and then loudly purred his milk. He then ate a few tiny pieces of his dry food.

I then had to clean him up again, which he didn't like at all, until Zhan brought me an old washcloth that felt very rough. I stroked my little baby's head with it and then my Yizhan really liked that.

My brother and Zhan watched me the whole time while I took care of Yizhan. And then when Yizhan snuggled in the crook of my arm and fell asleep again, my brother said, "Awww what a good mommy you are."

"Eh, if anything then I'm a daddy, not a mommy." I scolded. Yizhan woke up to this and looked at me reproachfully with his little beady eyes. So I whispered, "Sorry baby, Daddy didn't mean to raise his voice. We'll just ignore your bad uncle now."

"I'm not bad after all."

"Yes you are, you made me get louder while holding my baby. You can't do that. Yizhan got all scared because of that."

"Okay, sorry little brother. I better not say anything else before you bring Yizhan's dad after me." Said my brother laughing. I looked at Zhan and he just smiled.

Being a new daddy, I wasn't ready to leave my little Yizhan home alone already, so Zhan gave me one of his bags and put a cozy little blanket in it and a hot water bottle, for Yizhan, so I could take him with us. Although it is spring, the evenings are still quite chilly and I don't want my baby to get sick. So he should be comfortable and warm in his bag when we visit the pack.

So as we were leaving, I texted Cheng that we are on our way now and will be with them soon. And he replied with a very nervous looking smiley face😱, a red heart❤️ and the words, "Hopefully if I don't faint. Excited x100"

An hour later, we drove up the driveway to the farmhouse. And as they often do, the twins transformed playing with each other in the open space. My brother got all wide-eyed, but not with fear. Rather, he looked very interested.

Arriving at the house, Zhan parked the car and the twins came running to us. They sniffed my brother and then when they sniffed my bag, I said, "Be careful. There's a baby cat sleeping in there." This seemed to interest the twins a lot, so I opened the bag a bit and one of the twins licked my baby once. This, of course, immediately woke Yizhan up and he looked wide-eyed at the two wolves. I pulled him out and he immediately hid with me. Awww just cute.

We then went to greet the others first. Everyone was really there except Grandpa Xiao and Cheng. The latter just came out of the house and stood rooted to the spot in front of us. My brother reached out his hand and said, "Hi, I'm Hai Kuan. Nice to finally meet you."

And Cheng's cheeks turned bright red. He had a big smile and his eyes really lit up. But instead of replying, all he got out was an awkward, "Hehehe Wang Hai Kuan Hehehe."

Zhan snapped his fingers in front of Cheng and he came back to his senses. He grabbed my brother's hand with both hands and asked, "Are you going on a date with me?" Zhan and I coughed in shock. So we didn't expect that.

And my brother's reaction was as follows. He looked Cheng in the eyes for about three seconds, got fiery red cheeks and asked, "Sure, and when?"

Cheng grinned and replied, "Tomorrow. I'll pick you up."

Mhhh, the getting to know you part is apparently skipped for now. And besides that, I guess they completely forgot that the rest of us were there too. Somehow it seemed like magic between the two of them. They looked at each other and then saw only each other and everything else seemed to be forgotten. It wasn't such a stupid idea of mine to bring them together, was it?

Cheng and my brother went for a walk together and talked. I don't know what they were talking about, but they seemed to be having fun and that's the main thing. They looked really happy and exchanged numbers too.

Meanwhile, the rest of us sat around the campfire together. Zhan's uncle played on a guitar while a few others sang. It was really nice and relaxed. The twins, now back in their human form, played with little Yizhan. He is still so tiny, but he can already fight like the big cats.

The more the evening progressed, the closer my brother and Cheng seemed to get. I saw the two of them standing at a fence and talking. Or rather, Cheng was sitting on the fence and my brother was standing close to him. They looked like a real couple even then.

I thought it was really cute when Cheng fidgeted a little and almost fell forward off the fence and landed in my brother's arms. We couldn't understand a word they were saying, but just watching them was enough. How they looked deeply into each other's eyes while my brother held Cheng in his arms.

Then the next time I turned around to the two of them, at first I thought I wasn't seeing right. The two of them were kissing! Oh madness! Could Cheng really be the one for my brother? Could Cheng make my brother happy again?

Zhan thought he and I might as well take a little walk. I left Yizhan, who was asleep again, with the twins and Zhan went with me. He took my hand and we walked close to my brother and Cheng. Cheng called out to Zhan, "A-Zhan? Do you think I should do it?"

"Do what?" Asked Zhan.

"Show him who I am?"

"Sure, if that's what you want." Replied Zhan.

Zhan and I stopped and watched as Cheng stripped down to his underpants and then transformed into a wolf. My brother squatted in front of him and admired him. He gently stroked his head and wondered, "Wow the fur is so soft."

I said, "I told you the fur was really soft."

"Hearing it is different than seeing it, though."

"I know."

"His fur is a beautiful color. Now I'd really be interested in Zhan's white fur."

"Mhhh, you want to see my wolf's fur?"

"Yeah sure. Why not?"

I turned to Zhan and asked him. "Would you show it to my brother?"

"Alright. Will you hold my stuff?" Asked Zhan.

"Of course." And Zhan began to undress. When he only had his underpants on, he too transformed and for the first time my brother saw my snow white wolf.

"wow, I didn't expect that." Wondered my brother. 

In the moonlight, Zhan's white fur shone and looked even brighter. I took his clothes next to me and hugged him. I stroked his fur and kissed his head. "You are gorgeous my dear wolf." I whispered. Zhan then rubbed his head against me and pressed his cold nose against my cheek.

Cheng joined Zhan and the two of them looked just insanely amazing together. They both ran at it. The fur of both of them shone brightly and really sparkled. My brother put his arm over my shoulder and said, "Just stunningly beautiful."

"Mmm. Whenever I see Zhan like this, I can't take my eyes off him." I replied dreamily.

"I can understand." Said my brother.

When the two of them came running back to us, they seemed to smell something. They both lifted their noses up and sniffed. And it wasn't long before a few more wolves from their pack were with us. The twins said there was a vampire nearby. "Better come, we're going into the house." Said one of them.

"No way. I'll stay with Zhan. Take my brother and Yizhan and bring them to the house." I replied.

As a vampire myself, I can't smell other vampires. But the way the pack reacted, it had to be more than one vampire. And when Cheng raised his hackles, it was clear that they were already very close.

The pack started moving and I stayed by Zhan's side. I was not afraid. I just wanted to be with Zhan. I wanted to protect my wolf. No one was allowed to hurt him!

When we reached the wooded area, the first three vampires came out. The wolves growled and bared their teeth. One of the vampires shouted, "Take it easy. We're not here to fight. We have seen that there is a vampire among you and you have not harmed him. Therefore, we hoped you could listen to us for a moment. We really mean no harm."

Suddenly, I heard Zhan in my thoughts. "Ask him what he wants." He said.

I stood up straight and asked in a firm voice, "What do you want? What do you want to talk about?"

"So you are the vampire. Very well. It's like this. For the past month, black werewolves have been invading our territory. We are decent vampires and feed exclusively on animal blood. But these wolves keep attacking us. Sometimes they bring humans into our territory and kill them there." Explained the vampire.

I heard Zhan again in my head. This time he said, "Ask him why they come to us with that."

"Why did you come here with it?" I asked.

"Because we heard that this pack is hunting the black wolves. We just want to live in peace and not hurt anyone. We were hoping you could help us."

"We can talk about it when all of you show yourselves." I said after Zhan told me to say this in my mind.

One by one, five more vampires came out. Cheng wrinkled his nose and that's when I remembered that vampires smell awful to wolves. Well, except for me.

Zhan's uncle, who takes charge of the pack when Grandfather Xiao is not around, turned into his human form and said, "It's true, we hunt the black wolves. How many are there?"

"We don't know exactly. We guess there are between 4 to 6 black wolves. They invade our territory almost every night, kill people there, attack us and destroy everything." Explained the vampire.

"How many vampires are you and where do you live?"

"We are only 14 vampires now. We live in a commune we created far away from the humans. As I said, we just want to have our peace."

"I know the commune. Where is Alois?"

"They killed the oldest one. I am his successor."

Zhan seemed to be able to read my mind. Because I wondered why no one told me that there was a commune where vampires lived. Zhan said in my mind, "They don't want to have anything to do with others. Not even with other vampires. They are a closed commune and under other circumstances, would never have spoken to you."

I replied in my thoughts, "Ah, okay. And how come you and I can communicate right now? I thought that was only possible when we were both having sex."

"It works because it's a full moon and when the moon is full, the werewolves' powers are the strongest." Explained Zhan to me.

We then continued to listen to the conversation. "If you want our help, then we should talk about it calmly. I will come to you tomorrow and then we will talk." Said Zhan's uncle.

"Thank you. And be careful when you come to us. We don't know exactly where they are." Replied the vampire.

"You're not going, are you?" I asked Zhan in my mind.

"No, don't worry." He replied.

The vampires left and we returned. The wolves turned back and Zhan's uncle sent two scouts to look around there a bit. I, on the other hand, hugged Zhan, gave him a kiss and said, "If you do go there, I'll come with you. We'll protect each other yes?"

"If it will be necessary for me to go, if it comes to a fight, I will be happy to have you by my side." Said Zhan. That proved to me that he trusted me and my abilities. And it also proved how well we already know each other.

Since that was the end of the evening with the vampires' visit, we just wanted to go home. It was already midnight anyway. We went to my brother, who was already talking to Cheng again, and told him we wanted to go home. He looked at Cheng thoughtfully for a moment and asked me, "Is it okay if I stay here tonight?"

"Um, sure. "I said. It was totally fine with me and I was happy that my brother wanted to spend more time with Cheng.

So Zhan and I then went home alone with our baby Yizhan. We as a little family!

When we arrived home, I took care of baby Yizhan first and when he fell asleep, Zhan and I took a long shower and then went to bed. We didn't sleep right away, but made full use of the time we were alone. And before we finally fell asleep, I whispered to Zhan, "I really like you, Zhan. You really mean everything to me by now."

Zhan caressed my cheek, gave me a kiss and replied, "I love you Yibo. And you are my everything."

My heart raced at his words and I felt that tingle in my stomach. Oh yes, he is my Zhan, my wolf. And I will never, ever give him back.
