SIDE NOTE: As you read into the story, you will find out that Elias has a leg shortening. That is basically when one leg is shorter than the other, usually as a side effect of a surgery done on the leg.

chocxlatelover also has the same leg shortening. In fact, she is the inspiration for Elias' character. No matter the hardships that have come her way, she handles them like a slay queen. Even when things get hard, she doesn't complain, she deals with it 💪🏻

In that sense, Elias isn't as cool as her just yet, but hopefully, by the end of the book, he can become as cool as her ✨

Although having a handicap makes it slightly more difficult to do things, it doesn't make it impossible. And that's what I hope to portray with this character 💖 Let's hope I don't fail 🤞🏻😜
