"Why did Foust want to meet out here in the yard? It has to be at least a hundred degrees out here." The governor says as he, the warden, and Chance walk over to sit down at one of the tables.
"Who knows. After all, this is Foust you're talking about." Chance chuckles.
The sound of the gate opening draws their attention to the guard shack. They see the Fousts walk out holding hands. Behind them, the entire Block B. The guards in the towers aims their rifles at the prisoners in case of trouble starting.
"Good afternoon Mr. Governor, Mr. Warden, and Chance." Tim says with a slight smirk.
"Tim, why did you want to meet out here in the heat of the day? We could have met in the cafeteria. It would have been a lot cooler." The warden asks.
"Oh? So you think it's hot out here? Imagine what it's like in our cells." Tim says as he and Adam climb onto one of the tables to sit down.
"So what's this about, Tim?" The governor asks.
"I've already mentioned the problem. The heat." Tim answers.
"Tim, there's nothing I can do about the weather." Ian chuckles.
"No. But there is something you can do about the heat in the cells." Tim replies with a raised brow.
"Like what?" The warden asks.
"By supplying fans for each cell. I know it won't solve the problem but it may make it more tolerable." Tim answers.
"Listen, Tim...." Ian begins, shaking his head.
"No, you listen. Do you know why Red is the only elderly prisoner here? Because the others died from the heat. I've been here a long time and I've seen countless prisoners carried out in body bags that had died from this heat. All we're asking is for a simple box fan for each cell." Tim states.
"I understand, Tim. I really do. But the prison just doesn't have the funds to buy fans for all the cells," Ian sighs, again shaking his head.
"Do you want to risk a riot?" Tim asks.
"Tim, is that a threat?" The warden asks with a shocked expression.
"No, it's not, Warden. But I know how heat affects people. It makes them irritable. Irritability in a prison is not a good thing." Tim answers. "The heat makes you feel angry. You don't feel like doing sh*t."
"Amen to that. Even sex. And a sexually frustrated Tim is not a fun one to live with." Adam mumbles. He didn't mean for anyone else to hear him but unfortunately, everyone did.
Tim's eyes widen and his face reddens as everyone begins to laugh. He slowly turns his head in the direction of his lover. Adam bites his lip as he feels Tim's glare. The blonde stares straight ahead, refusing to look at anyone.
"I feel for you, Adam." Ian chuckles. "But I don't know what I can do to help."
"Get us some d*mn fans, Ian!" Tim says, quickly turning his attention back to the governor. "What are they, ten dollars?"
"Maybe when you were still free." Chance says. "Try twenty bucks.
"Still. A twenty-dollar fan could save a life." Tim argues. "Or prevent a riot. It's your choice, Mr. Governor."
Ian sighs as he hangs his head. He knew Foust was right. Some of the newer prisons actually had air conditioning and heat. He also knew the prisoners here suffered from the cold in winter as well with not enough blankets. But he also knew the State would not put money into such an old prison.
"All I can say, guys, is that I'll see what I can do." Ian says as he meets Tim's glaring eyes. "That's a promise, Tim."
Tim pouches his lips slightly as he nods. He had no idea if their argument did any good or not. But at least they spoke their peace.
"So, do you think it did any good?" Avi asks as the prisoners head back inside.
"I hope so." Tim nods.
"They did seem to get a bit nervous when you mentioned a riot." Another prisoner comments.
"Yeah, they did. They definitely don't want a riot from Block B." Tim replies as they go back inside the prison.
~~
"Your thoughts, Uncle Ian?" Chance asks, hoping he would hear something positive. After all, his lover was one of the ones suffering from the heat.
"I think we need to get these guys some fans but I know the state won't pay from them." Ian says as he looks around at the warden and Chance.
"What if...what if we pay for the fans out of our own pockets?" Chance suggests.
"If it would prevent a riot, count me in. The last warden died in the last riot. I definitely don't want that to happen again." Bruce says with a slight chuckle.
"I certainly don't want anyone else dying from the heat if we can do something about it." Ian says as he thinks for a few minutes.
"I'm sure Rob and Dwayne would pitch in. After all, we have to work in this heat too." Chance adds.
"Okay." Ian nods. "Chance, you and Rob take care of getting these guys a fan for their cells. Both A and B Blocks. Bruce and I will reimburse your money when you get back."
"You got it." Chance smiles as he jumps up to go find Rob.
~~
"You wanna go take a shower?" Tim asks, wiping the sweat from his face.
"Probably would cool us off some." Adam nods.
Instead of going back to the furnace of their cell, they head for the showers.
"How'd the meeting go?" Toby asks as he hands the couple their shower supplies and clean uniforms.
"Good, I think. At least I hope we did some good." Tim answers, looking around he sees Adam heading to the showers. The brunette lays his towel back on the counter and smirks at the attendant before following his husband into the showers.
"What the hell is he up to now?" Toby says to himself as he shakes his head.
Tim walks into the shower room to see Adam already undressing.
"Sh*t, I forgot my towel." Tim says. "Go ahead and get the shower going and I'll be right back."
"Okay." Adam replies as he goes to their claimed shower in the corner and turns the water on to get the temperature set.
"Uh, I forgot my towel." Tim smiles innocently at the attendant.
"Really?" Toby asks with raised brows.
"Listen." Tim says as he places both hands on the counter and smiles at Toby. "I have a favor to ask."
"I'm listening." Toby says, matching Tim's stance.
"I need for the shower room to be temporarily out of order." Tim says with a smile, a wink, and a tilt of the head.
Toby remains silent but arches his brow.
"Okay." Tim chuckles and rolls his eyes. "A carton of cigarettes and I'll even throw in a six-pack of beer."
"BEER!!?? ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME??!!" Toby shouts as his jaw drops.
"Shhhhh." Tim shushes him. "No, I'm not kidding."
"God, I love you, Foust." Toby laughs as he goes to the backroom and gets an 'Out of Order' sign.
~~
Adam stands under the shower allowing the cool water soothe his over-heated body.
He grunts as he finds himself being pushed hard against the cold tiled wall. Panic sets in as he thinks he's fixing to be raped. The blonde is just fixing to elbow the guy hard in the ribs. He wasn't going down without a fight. But he hears a low familiar voice in his ear.
"So, a sexually frustrated Tim is no fun to live with, huh?" Tim growls.
His husband's hot breath on his neck was already making Adam's knees go weak.
"I....uh..." Adam could not form words as he feels his lover's full-grown erection press against his ass. "Ohhhh." A moan slips out from his lips.
"Well, I can't have my husband unhappy, now can I?" Tim says in an extremely low voice making chills go up the blonde's spine.
Adam had lost all the power of his voice but did manage to shake his head.
"Spread em'." Tim says before biting down on Adam's neck.
His body was trembling with anticipation as he spreads his legs.
Tim wraps an arm around Adam's waist. His other hand he uses to position his prick at his lover's entrance.
"I'm fixin' to make you very happy." Tim whispers as he nibbles on Adam's earlobe.
"Please, Tim. Give it to me." Adam begs. "OH, MY GOD!!" He screams out as he is suddenly rammed by his husband. "HOLY SH*T!!! YESSSS!!!"
Tim continues to slam hard into the blonde. He reaches around in front and grabs Adam's dick and begins to pump it aggressively.
~~
"Oh, nooo." Toby groans as he sees Chance walking up the hall making his rounds.
"How's it going, Toby?" Chance asks with a smile.
The attendant forces a smile and gives the guard a thumbs up.
"What's wrong with the shower?" The guard asks as he notices the 'Out of Order' sign on the door.
"Uh... maintenance?" Toby answers in the form of a question. He wasn't expecting anyone to show up this time of day.
"Maintenance?" Chance repeats.
"Uh, yeah, maintenance." Toby nods quickly. "Bad, bad water leak." Still nodding. "Flooding."
'HOLY F*CKING SH*T!! YESSS!! BABY!! HARDER!!!'
Both men jump around and look at the shower room door. Without turning his head, Toby slowly turns his eyes to the guard.
Chance chuckles and shakes his head.
"I think Adam is going to need maintenance too." The guard says before walking away still shaking his head.
