Chapter 10
** I wasn't planning on updating two stories today. But ObsessedwithTidam is sitting at the airport in Atlanta. She'll be heading to Nashville for Tim's Birthday Bash. She's needing something to read. So, Buddy, here ya go.

"Uh, you do know you're supposed to take your clothes off BEFORE you get into the shower, right?" Avi laughs at the couple walking up the cell block, as he stands in the doorway of his cell.
They looked like two drowned rats. Soaked from head to toe.
"I know it's hot in here but you guys are definitely going to the extremes of sweating." Samuel chuckles.
"There're just too many f*cking comedians around this place. You guys and the numb-skull guard at the gate." Tim growls as he goes inside his cell and grabs some paper towels to dry his face.
Tim strips off his denim uniform shirt and then his pants, hanging them on a hook in a makeshift closet to dry. They are only allowed one change of clothing a day. And those were it.
Wearing only his boxers and tee shirt, he lays down on the cot in hopes of cooling off.
Adam smiles at his half-dressed husband.
"If it wasn't so d*mn hot, I'd pounce on you right now." Adam laughs.
"I'd have a heat stroke before we were finished." Tim chuckles lightly as he wipes his forehead.
"I got an idea." Adam says as he gathers Tim's clothes.
"Where are you running off with my clothes?" Tim says, raising his head off the pillow to look at his husband.
"I'm sure I can convince Toby to throw our clothes in the dryer for a few minutes." Adam says as he grabs a couple of packs of cigarettes out of the carton that Emily had brought for her brother. "Then maybe we can go to the cafeteria and get some tea. At least there are fans in there."
"Good idea. I'll, uh, I'll just wait here." Tim says as he gives his husband a smile.
"Probably a good idea. It wouldn't be too wise for a man as gorgeous as you to walk around in just his underwear with sex craved inmates wandering around." Adam chuckles as he starts to leave their cell. "They might try to gang-bang you."
Tim slowly sits up on the side of their bed after the blonde had left. 'They might try to gang-bang you'. Adam's words echoed in his thoughts. Yeah, Adam meant that as a joke. But could it actually happen? The thought of himself or his lover being gang-banged scared the holy hell out of him. Most of the inmates in Block B knew the Fousts and knew it was best to leave them alone. BUT, new prisoners were always being brought in. Prisoners that DIDN'T know them and DIDN'T know to leave them alone.
That thought never occurred to him. He guesses he was a fairly decent looking guy and he knew for a fact that his husband was absolutely beautiful. Were they in danger?
The thought that reassured him that they were safe, as he watches familiar faces passing by his cell, was that the prisoners of Block B have been together for years. He knew most of them by name and whether or not they had family outside the walls. And they all knew him. They also knew that he was in this hell hole for life without the chance of parole, so killing for him was no big deal. The older prisoners have even been known to warn the newcomers about him and his husband. The newcomers were warned that if they try to start sh*t with the Fousts that they would more than likely end up the morgue.

Toby looks up from the crossword puzzle he was working on as he hears footsteps coming up the hall. He looks down at the uniform that is laid down on the counter in from of him. He then glances up at the smiling Adam Foust.
"Would you mind putting these in the dryer for me, please?" Adam asks with a sweet smile as he tilts his head slightly.
The request seemed innocently enough. But the true meaning was, 'Put these in the dryer and no back talk'.
"Why are they so wet?" Toby asks as he looks at the soggy clothes.
"It's raining." Adam answers the obvious as he lays down the packs of cigarettes.
Seeing the cigarettes brought a smile to Toby's face. He was down to just a few cigs left in his pack.
"Maybe I can bend the rules a little bit." Toby says as he snatches up the smokes and walks back to the back room. He returns with clean uniforms for both Tim and Adam. "Look like to me, yours need drying too." He smiles as he hands Adam the clothes.
"Thanks, Toby, I knew I could count on you." Adam smiles as he picks up his clothes.
"That's what I'm here for." Toby chuckles as he gets back to his crossword puzzle.
"You're a good man, Toby." Adam chuckles. "I'll be right back." The blonde goes into the shower room and quickly changes his clothes, bringing the wet ones back to the attendant. "Thanks again."
"Anytime, Foust." Toby smiles, throwing the wet clothes in the pile that he needed to be washing instead of working this stupid puzzle.

Adam walks back into the cell to see Tim sitting on the side of the bed, leaning over with his head resting in his hands.
"You alright?" Adam asks in a concerned voice.
"What?" Tim quickly looks up. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking I guess."
"About what?" Adam asks, sitting down next to his husband and handing him the clean clothes.
"Nothing important." Tim answers, shaking his head. "Are these clean?"
"Yep, it's amazing what a couple of packs of cigarettes can get in this place." Adam chuckles. "Get dressed so we can go get some tea."
Adam watches the love of his life get dressed. He couldn't help but wonder what was it that had the brunette so deep in thought when he walked in. That look on his face. Was it worry? Next question. What had him worried?
"You ready?" Tim's voice brings Adam from his thoughts.
"Uh, yeah." The blonde nods.
"Now it's my turn to ask. Are you alright?" Tim asks with a slight smirk on his lips.
"Yeah. I was just wondering what you were worried about." Adam says as he stands up in front of his husband.
"Who said I was worried about anything?" Tim asks, trying his best to look his lover in the eyes.
"Because. I can read you like a book, Timothy." Adam replies, raising a brow.
"It was just something you said earlier that got me thinking." Tim says as he looks down between them.
"What did I say?" Adam asks.
"You said something about being gang-banged. I know you were joking but... Babe, just how safe are we?" Tim asks, looking up to meet his husband's eyes. "I mean, this is a f*cking prison. You hear of things happening like that all the time in prisons. Hell, it's even happened here."
"It's not gonna happen." Adam says, shaking his head.
"But how do you know that for sure?" Tim asks softly.
"Because you're Tim Foust. Honey, you have gained respect from just about every prisoner in this cell block. The others? Well, they value their lives. And they know better to mess with me because they all know that I belong to you."
"Just promise me, that whenever we are not together? Always be aware of what's going on around you. Take no chances whatsoever. Especially in the showers. Please?" Tim asks as he rubs his thumb across his lover's cheek.
"I promise." Adam says softly, taking Tim's hand and kissing his thumb. "Let's go to the cafeteria and cool off some."
~~
"I need Jesus." Avi groans as he lays his head on the table.
"What?" Tim laughs as he and Adam sit down at the table. Each with a large styrofoam cup of ice tea.
"Cause if Hell is hotter than this place, I don't want to go." Avi replies as he raises his head from the table.
"I'm pretty sure it is, Avi." Adam chuckles.
"Then f*ck it. I'm going to church Sunday." Avi says, reaching for a fan to turn it to blow on them.
Some of the other inmates sitting in the cafeteria turn to give the short bearded man a dirty look.
"Got a problem with it?" Avi asks with a raised brow.
When the prisoners see that the Fousts were sitting at the table, they turn back around and continues their conversation.
"Yeah, that's right." Avi nods and straightens his snapback as he leans back in his chair. "That's what I thought."

Until next time..... ✌️
