🌺Previously on "Priscilla".
"Let her die." my subconscious says.
I starred at "Anna bridge", the supposed daughter of Ian on the hospital bed and all the sour memories of what Ian did to me in high school started coming to play in my head causing me to be more confused about whether or not to take this bold step to save her life or let her die since she had lost so much blood due to the hit from the stray bullet.
I looked around operating room and literally all eyes were on me waiting for my call so we could start the surgery. I looked back at Anna bridge whose was bleeding and remembered I signed up for this job so I could save lives.
"Let's begin operating, I told everyone in the room."
I kept digging into her skin with the help of other surgeons and nurses to find the bullet and if I hadn't started the surgery earlier, I would be a dead body in front of me and I would have to deal with my conscience forever for not taking out the bullet.
"Nice job." Jacen, a general surgeon who also helped with the surgery commented with a clap after we finished sewing up Anna's body.
"Thanks Jace and everyone who helped in bringing Anna bridge back to life." I stated and left the operating room to clean up myself from all the blood stains.
"Doctor Priscilla, please have you seen Katie?" Doctor Williams asked me whilst I was busy cleaning up.
"Ohh! my. I left her in my office, I totally forgot." I yelled and quickly left with Doctor Williams to get his daughter.
"Bro, thanks for helping Anna."
Ian said and closed his daughter's hospital room.
"I would do anything for my brother." Doctor Williams answered and gave him a hug and then turned to me.
"Doctor Priscilla, meet my younger brother Ian." Doctor Williams smiled and introduced his annoying brother to me and I can't just believe my ears.
Now I was happy with my life and crushing secretly on boss who I don't think was going to like me anytime soon and he turns out to be the brother of the second person I hate after my mom.
"We have met." Ian smirked but I just stayed mute.
"She was the surgeon in charge of your daughter's surgery." Doctor Williams squealed.
"Thanks." Ian muttered.
"Doctor Williams, I think we should check on Katie." I excused myself from Ian and left with Doctor Williams to my office, I didn't want to start anymore conversations with Ian.
We got to my office and found Katie sleeping."She must have been so tired of waiting for me." I said to Doctor Williams who was smiling at his daughter's cute face.
"It's already late and we should probably get going, your shift is over so I would drop you at your place." Doctor Williams assured and carried Katie whilst I packed all her books and got my bag ready so I could go home.
"Priscilla, Good night." Katie woke when we were driving home and whispered.
"She just sleep talked, she does that a lot." Doctor Williams said with a grin and I just can't help myself from staring at his lovely face, he looked like an angel.
"Good night sir." I greeted when we arrived at my apartment.
"Thanks for saving Anna's life." He said and I nod.
"Good night." He shouted as I got to my door.
I entered my apartment with hopes that Alex had gone to sleep so I wouldn't have to start talking about Ian and how I saved his daughter's life.
