Withdrawal: Part 1

"Everyone is here?" Logan looked around.
"There's only four people to count for in total, Logan, is it that difficult?" Virgil shrugged.
Logan gave an angered look to Virgil before Patton spoke up.
"So, what's our topic for this week's video?" Patton smiled happily.
"That's our issue." Roman put in.
"You always have an issue." Virgil smirked.
"Are you trying to get on everyone's nerves?" Roman huffed.
"Don't get fussy now." Virgil winked.
"Why I swear-"
"Focus on the topic!" Logan snapped.
Virgil crossed his arms with a triumphant look.
Roman glared over but didn't say another word.
"Well, I believe we could write about the value of boundaries and when things are taken too far." Roman spat, passive-aggressively.
"I agree," Virgil put in, "Viewers should learn to know when to shut their traps and move on." Virgil looked directly at Roman.
"Honestly! I know what you're doing!" Roman growled.
"Could you two maybe not argue for once?" Logan suggested, "One-Hundred Percent of the time, it ends in regret and potential tears."
Virgil's face turned a bashful, light shade of red, "No it doesn't..."
"Statistics." Logan pointed out.
"I'm simply pointing out that it may do Virgil some good to stick a cupcake in it as to not agitate anyone any further." Roman crosses his arms.
"You realize the fanders' favorite phrase is pump the breaks princey, don't you?" Virgil said simply.
"You- you- can just-" Roman began to stutter, "Just- leave!"
"Now, now, don't be too mean, kiddos." Patton began to step forward.
"Too late Patton, probabilities show ninety-percent in the favor of an argument." Logan put a hand on Patton's shoulder to stop him.
"I would if I wanted to, but I'm enjoying how much you're fuming right now." Virgil smirked.
"We don't need you, so leave." Roman murmured.
"Oh but, you don't seem too sure about that." Virgil held his chin up.
Roman tensed up, close to his breaking point and- "I don't need you." He growled as he took a step forward.
Virgil's expression turned from a smug one to an absolutely broken one in an instant. However, he was sure to fix this as a moment later his brow furrowed before he shrugged, "Fine, see how well you work without me." He dipped down.
Roman stood there for a moment before sighing and heading back to his corner of the room, "Drama king..."
"So Says you..." Logan murmured, but deceiving a shake of the head from Logan to signify him to stop, "It'll be fine, don't worry." Logan reassured Patton.
Patton frowned, "Why is it that they have to do that?"
"Well...Roman and Virgil, they care about each other...more so than many, however, their core aspects tend to clash- much like our core aspects, so this creates a sort of...barrier that neither of them have found a way to break through, a barrier where Creativity is the oil and anxiety is the water. They may love one another but their core-aspects are against them when it comes to agreement and solution." Logan stated.
"Oh...well, we get along and our core-aspects were at war...?" Patton frowned.
"Yes, but we found away of agreement and solution. They've yet to find that."
"So...you're saying that they're going to argue until then?" Patton whimpered.
"Essentially."
Patton frowned before heading back over to his own corner.
"Well, what exactly are we supposed to do then?" Logan sighed, rubbing his temple.
"We could-" Patton began but shook his head.
"You're the creative side, Roman, what's your plan?" Logan and Patton's gaze turned to the fanciful aspect.
Roman gave an overwhelmed look, "I- well- for a new video we could- well, what if we did a video on- oh how about-" He stuttered.
"You're supposed to be the creative one." Logan frowned.
"Hey! It's not my fault if I'm...stuck." Roman muttered.
"Oh for god's sake, just go fix this- you don't work without Virgil here." Logan groaned.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Roman huffed.
"Creativity involves a muse, your muse happens to be Virgil, so it seems. So, sequentially Anxiety comes before Creativity." Logan pointed out, "You don't function properly without him."
"I'm not going to always be the one to go and apologize." Roman turned his head stubbornly.
"Well, you are a prince, kiddo, isn't that your job?" Patton blinked.
"Well...Yes...but- he could always...bite the bullet so to say." Roman suggested.
"So you're saying that he's never rescued you before?" Logan straightener his glasses on his face.
"Not exactly what I'm saying, but-"
"Aw, So you two are both your own princes?" Patton squeaked.
"I-n a way." Roman coughed awkwardly as his cheeks brightened.
"So Princey here admits he needs help sometimes?" Logan inquired with a smirk.
"I could very well have helped myself?" Roman clenched his fists.
"Like is said, you and Virgil need each other, you balance each other out- in fact, I believe I've gone over this before in prior times. Don't make me explain this again. Simply accept it and try to work with it." Logan nodded.
Patton nodded as well in agreement, "He's your prince and you're his."
Roman gave a shy smile but shook his head a moment later, "No. I'm sorry, but I'm not doing this, not again."
Logan furrowed his brow, "What do you mean?"
"I can live without Virgil, I don't need him." Roman stated.
Logan shook his head, "Yes, Yes you do- one-hundred percent of the time you have to go and rescue him- it's statistics! It's facts!"
"Well, not this time. I can deal without Virgil around, if he so pleases he can stay in his room. I'm staying out of this, this time." Roman nodded firmly.
"But- kiddo, you two need-"
"What we need is to learn to suck it up." Roman squinted.
"Roman, bottling up emotions is in no way a good form of handling things." Logan bit his lip.
"However, That's how it's going." Roman scoffed and ducked down, "I don't need Virgil."
