A rescue

Requested by WingDingsSansGaster this is supposed to mostly comical just so you know... mostly some of its serious I guess XD.

"Logan what in the actual Hell are you doing? Where are we?" Anxiety grumbled in monotoned anger.

"I am conducting an experiment." He replied simply. "And as for where we are currently, well we are in a simulation of mine. A world I decided to create in Thomas' mind to do research into my specific topic."

"So... you brought me to some fairytale castle tower?" Anxiety seemed utterly confused. "Why? What kind of experiment is this, and why didn't you ask me to come with you instead of forcefully bringing me here?"

"Because I knew you would refuse no matter how I tried to convince you. Besides it makes the situation I'm trying to stimulate that much more realistic." Logic answered.

"For someone who likes to talk and explain things in very long and descriptive ways, you're being awfully vague." Anxiety grumbled in annoyance. "All I want to know is why the hell you kidnapped me and locked me in a freaking tower!"

"All will be answered soon my young pupil." He said quite philosophically and then left making sure the door was unpenetrable form the inside.

Anxiety banged on the door a bit feeling more vexed than actually angry. He just wanted to be in his room doing nothing all day. This place was too sunny, and felt strange. "Logan come on just let me out!" He shouted through the door. "This has got to be illegal even inside Thomas' mind."

He didn't get any sort of response.

He sighed moving over to the small window and resting his elbows on it as he gazed outside. He squinted in frustration as the cursed sunlight shone on his face. He looked around feeling the slight breeze blow his hair back slightly. The tower had to be about five or six stories up, and there were no close by trees or anything he could have possibly used to climb out. Not that he'd even know where to go when he did. His surroundings outside looked like a scene straight out of the movie Tangled.

He let out another exasperated sigh closing the curtains, which still let in a little light, the useless silky bastards, and walked over plopping onto the bed. At least it was super comfortable the only good thing about this place so far. He laid back on the pillows looking up at the ceiling, waiting.

Absolutely bored...

~meanwhile~

"Prince, prince it's horrible! Absolutely horrible!" Morality screamed as he ran up to the fanciful side of Thomas.

"Morality?" Prince seemed surprised by the usual cheerful personification's panic. "Whatever could be the matter?"

"Anxiety is gone!" Morality screeched. "The door to his room was open so I went in and everything was a mess. I think someone took him! They left this." He held out a piece of parchment paper.

Prince took it and unfolded it letting his eyes scan over the writing.

Dear prince,
We have met many times in the past as you battled me to save the hand of a helpless prince or princess. But I wonder now how you will react when I tell you I have taken something (or someone for that matter) a bit more precious to you. Even if you refuse to admit the boy of doom and gloom means something to you I know it's a lie, I have been watching. Hasten to your friend's side little prince because I am very bored and don't like to wait. If you aren't here in time I don't even know what I may do to him. See you soon, hopefully.
Sincerely,
The non-gender-specific evil fairytale villain.

(I'm sorry I have to cut in because my friend looked over my shoulder while I was writing and literally started to cry in laughter at that XD back to the story...)

Prince gripped the paper in anger and then grabbed his sword from... somewhere and started to walk away brushing past morality. "Don't fear friend, I promise I will bring Anxiety back unscathed." He then disappeared.

"Did I do good, Logan?! Did I did I?!" Morality started to shout in excitement jumping up and down slightly.

Logic popped up from behind the couch and walked over to him placing a hand on his shoulder. "Yes morality you did substantially, I am moderately impressed."

"Yay!" Morality smiled brightly his cheeks tinting pink at the compliment. "Let's eat some cookies together when this is all over, okay?"

"I suppose I'll agree. Cookies are in fact delicious after all." Logic straightened his glasses. "But for now I have observing to do."

Morality smiled innocently a small laugh escaping his lips. "You do understand that I just tricked you into agreeing to go on a date with me right?"

Logic felt his whole face heat up at the words he then looked down clearing his throat and covering his face. "I see... well played... I guess I'll see you at a later time then for our arrangement." He mumbled awkwardly before also disappearing.

Morality just went back to his room smiling proudly...

~meanwhile~

Prince walked down the cobbled paths of the small town. The normal types of people walked around: bakers, librarians, candlestick makers, shoe shiners, blacksmiths, boat men, and miners.

To be honest though today he ignored them all, even the few people who fawned over his valiance, because today he was on a mission. He was furious that someone had the audacity to take not just some innocent victimized prince or princess, even though that was terrible as well, but to take one of the few people prince actually semi-knew well? He was beyond the level of anger. Of course he was angry at the fact that Anxiety was taken in the first place, but the fact that he was threatened, that's what tipped prince over the edge.

He eventually made it out of town and was walking through the dark forest when suddenly, the Dragon witch appeared!

"No way I already defeated you!" Prince said in disbelief.

"I have been reborn!" She cackled out a laugh mixed with a fiery breath. "And now I'm more powerful than ever! You'll never get past me!" More cackling ensued.

"We'll see about that!" Prince drew his sword and prepared to fight. He dodged a magic attack and then charged slashing at the witch dragon. It wounded it, but he was quickly hit by a large scaly hand and thrown against a tree just narrowly avoiding a magic blast.

"Like I said I'm more powerful than I've ever been you'll never defeat me!" The witch laughed victoriously.

"No!" Prince struggled to get off the ground. His body shook and he moved slowly, grabbing his sword and pushing himself up. "I won't loose! This time more than ever because my friend's life is on the line! So I won't give up the fight! I will save him, or die trying!" He charged at the beast stabbing it through with the sword.

She hissed and cried in pain trying to attack him again, but he quickly cut off her hand and then finished the job, slaying the beast once again.

~Meanwhile~

"Admittedly it was an accident me bringing the dragon witch back... an experiment gone wrong that ensued in my lab, but she seems to have helped in my research..." Logic had been watching the fight from the trees. "It's so interesting it seems the capturing of a closer person to someone, makes them more determined to keep on fighting, even when knocked down..." he jotted some things down in his notes and then continued to follow Prince.

~meanwhile~

Prince was now approaching a bridge he stopped when he stepped onto as a short little man jumped up, blocking his way.

"Wait good sir!" The man said. "In order to pass this bridge you-" he was interrupted.

"Look I really don't have time for this I'm trying to sav-" he was also cut off.

"I'm sorry but no one can pass without first solving a riddle!" The man said enthusiastically.

"What? No I don't want to solve a-" he again couldn't finish. Making him growl feeling more frustrated.

"Here it is!" The small man cleared his throat. "What do you call a dictionary on drugs?"

Prince picked up the man with ease.

"Hey what are you doing?" He debated.

"Sorry." Prince apologized before throwing the man into the water and continuing to walk.

"You can't do that it's cheating!" The man yelled as he resurfaced above water. "The answer was high definition by the way!" He then burst into uncontrollable laughter, but prince ignored him only giving a small chuckle as he walked.

~meanwhile~

"Determination can lead to impatience, and unnecessary violent action..." morality noted and followed. "Sense of humor still in tact."

~meanwhile~

After many more challenges and fights he had to go through the sun was now just beginning to set as Prince finally saw a tower come into view. He quickened his step towards it barging into the doors. The candles all flickered on as soon as he set foot into the place.

"It seems you've bested me once again. You got through all my traps, and made it to save the day... well done little prince... well done." A voice echoed through the building even though no one was to be seen.

Prince took one last quick look around to be safe and then ran up the stairs. When getting to the top room he broke the latch of the door with his sword and went inside. "Anxiety." He breathed out in relief as he kneeled to the side of the bed Anxiety was laid upon.

Surprisingly the boy was asleep, breathing gently as he dosed the golden orange glow of the sunset shining across him.

Prince couldn't help but smile. "Anxiety wake up." He didn't stir. "Anxiety?" He shook him lightly. It suddenly occurred to prince, what if he had been put under a spell? A sleeping curse? And he knew...

There was only one way to break a sleeping curse...

He swallowed a lump in his throat and then stood over anxiety's figure, he placed his one hand on the pillow next to Anxiety's head to balance himself as he leaned down, hovering over his fellow personality closely.

Suddenly Anxiety opened his eyes. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing!" Prince shouted as he blushed, jolting and falling backwards, crashing into the vanity in the process, causing the items on top of it to come crashing down onto him. "Ow...." he rubbed his head, clutching his rapidly beating heart. "Don't do that!" He let out a breath. "Why didn't you wake up?"

"I don't know that bed's really comfy I was just out cold." Anxiety shrugged as he sat up.

Prince then stood and took a few steps forward, wrapping his arms around his friend. "I'm so glad you're unharmed."

Amxiety blinked in surprise at the sudden hug. "Um... yeah sure."

Prince pulled away quickly and sat next to him on the edge of the bed, feeling tiered from his long journey. "I was actually worried when you'd disappeared. Once I found out I knew how quickly I had to come rescue you."

"Oh that's just great." Anxiety grumbled. "Now I'm one of your damsels in distress..."

"Pft hardly. They are usually kind and thankful to me." Prince said smugly. "They even reward me, sometimes even with a kiss on the cheek."

"Yeah right." Anxiety scoffed. He then looked over to prince taking a closer look. "Princey? Is that a scratch?" He asked referring to the scrape on Prince's cheek.

"Hm? Oh yes, must have got it while slaying the dragon witch earlier." He replied simply.

"Oh..." Anxiety frowned suddenly feeling bad and even a little worried.

Just how much had prince gone through to save him.

Anxiety suddenly sat in his knees, gently pulling the side of Prince's face closer, and placing a small kiss on the minor wound. "Thank you..." he whispered feeling his face redden as he pulled back turning the complete opposite way awkwardly.

Prince widened his eyes feeling like his words were caught in his throat. He was trying to ignore the igniting feeling on his cheeks where anxiety's lips had been, he'd never felt that before with any prince or princess. "You-you're welcome..." he said looking at the back of the other males head, silently wishing he'd turn around.

There was a silence for a little while as the sun slowly lowered itself outside, the moon now poking out.

"Anxiety?" Prince tried to get his attention, but he still didn't turn around. "Anxiety... look at me." Prince reached over taking Anxiety's chin lightly between his thumb and forefinger, forcing him to turn his head and meet his gaze. As he looked into anxiety's eyes with the reflection of the moonlight shining in them he felt like he couldn't take it anymore. His body almost seemed to move on its own as he leaned in, closed his eyes, and connected their lips. He panicked in his mind, not showing it on the outside, slightly thinking of how Anxiety may react negative. Until... he started to feel anxiety kiss him back, and an arm loosely started to travel around his neck, as their lips seemed to move together perfectly.

After a while they pulled away, catching their breath, and looking at each other.

"Wow..." prince seemed to almost be awestruck.

"Do you that with all the damsels you rescue as well..?" Anxiety asked quietly.

"Not like that no..." prince admitted. "That was something I've never felt before."

"I feel the same..." Anxiety actually felt himself smile slightly, which was a rare almost non-existent sight. "I guess this is a good of time as any to tell you that this whole thing was set up by logic. He's the villain he kidnapped me."

"What?" Prince blinked in surprise.

Anxiety shrugged. "He said it's some sort of experiment. I did hear him talking a few days ago about how he wanted to learn how emotions drive a person to do certain things." Anxiety replied. "I'm guessing that he used me to get to your inner emotions as you looked for me."

"Well this whole thing did lead me to realizing some feelings." Prince smiled lacing their fingers together. "So I don't know if I should yell at him or thank him."

"How about I yell, you thank, then it's even, sound good?" Anxiety asked.

"Sure." Prince chuckled standing from his place. "Now let's get you out of here.

And they went all the way home hand in hand...

Extra:

"So Logan how'd your experiment end?" Morality asked as he placed out the plates and glasses of milk before getting some cookies from the cupboard.

"Well prince found him, and was quite relieved. I left after that they exchanged an embrace." Logic explained.

"They hugged?!" Morality seemed surprised.

"Well yes in a way." Logic replied. "I left after seeing that."

"What why didn't you keep watching?!" Morality asked. "They could have confessed their feelings, or kissed, or BOTH!"

"I decided to leave because I had a prior engagement made to someone of substantial importance to me that I absolutely could not be late for." Logic smiled at him.

Morality felt himself blush slightly as he looked back at him. "Well... as long as it was a good reason I suppose I can forgive you for not watching longer."

Logic chuckled and walked over to morality brushing his hair away from dropping in front of his glasses. "I thank you again for helping me today."

"You're welcome." Morality was flustered but still managed an adorable dorky smile.

Logic smiled as well and then stepped back. "And by the way you didn't have to trick me into going on this date. If you had just requested it of me," he smirked sitting down in his chair. "Logically speaking I would of had to say yes."

Hey guys, I hope you liked this new oneshot. I honestly don't even exactly know what it is myself, but whatever lol. I know it's longer, but hey a lot happened. Also yeah I put logicality in there cause it's adorable! XD I hope this was to your liking WingDingsSansGaster I tried my best lol. Vote and comment, bye!
