TW: my crappy writing, adorable fluff, and gayness

I know- cannonly Logan is a Ravenclaw. But I feel like he's more of a Slytherclaw but with a little  more Slytherin. So I decided to do that, but with logicality.

{Third Person POV}

Patton walked between the compartments on the Hogwarts Express, he didn't really know where to sit, his friend was sitting with his boyfriend and he didn't want to be the third wheel.

"Hello?" He said, opening the door to one, inside was a boy reading a book, "Do you mind if I sit with you?" He asked poking his head through. "Yeah, sure" Patton smiled, sitting across from him, "I'm Patton" he said, smiling. The other looked up from his book, "I'm Logan" he said, setting his book down, "So do you know what house you'll be in?"

Logan shrugged, "It seems my family has been in just about all the houses. My mum was in Griffindor, mother in Ravenclaw, and my sisters are both in Hufflepuff" "Really? Well all that's left is Slytherin huh?" "Yep, maybe I'll get that" "Well, I'm probably gonna get Ravenclaw, both my parents were in it, along with their parents" "Maybe you will" Logan said as the train slowed down.

The first years rowed down the lake, feeling the icy water hit their faces as the oars hit the black water below. "Can you guys stop making out and help us?" Patton asked Roman and Virgil, "We're not making out" Virgil said, grabbing his oar, "We were just kissing" "Intently" Logan muttered, causing a laugh to come out of Patton, "Hey! Stop telling jokes about us!"

When they finally got to the great hall they looked around in awe. The lights around them were brighter than the stars in the night sky, that just so happen to be on the ceiling. "That's beautiful" Virgil breathed out, staring up at them, "Yeah, they are" Patton said, looking up at them, "Did you know they put a spell to keep it like that?" Logan said, "My mom told me about it before I left"

They formed a line with the other first years behind Professor McGonagall, "First up is Abbott, Elizibeth" a girl with red hair walked up to the stool and sat down, letting McGonagall set the hat on her head, "GRIFFINDOR!" The hat announced after a few seconds.

Down the list she went, until she got to Logan's name, "Forrest, Logan" He walked over to the chair and sat down, feeling the hat hit his head, "Yes.." the hat murmured, "Quite the Ravenclaw, very hard working, oh! But you fit more in SLYTHERIN!"

Logan got up and walked over to the table, sitting down as someone else went up to the stool. Soon Virgil had got sorted into his house, which the hat couldn't decide on, so put him in Griffindor, "Sweets, Patton" Patton skipped up to the stool and sat down, feeling the weight of the hat on his head, "HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat said, surprising Patton.

Eventually Roman got to go up, getting Gryffindor. "Now this year, due to some, issues," she looked between Gryffindor and Slytherin, "Between two houses we will change the schedule to Ravenclaw with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff with Slytherin. We will also make rooms to one person because of some different issues with that"

Patton smiled over at Logan, who smiled back.

The next day they went off to potions, "So do you think we'll make any potions?" Patton asked, "No, I'm sure we'll just cover the things we'll learn" Logan said, walking next to him, "Besides-" he got cut off when he tripped over something, "Logan! Are you okay?" He asked, sitting next to him on the ground, "Yes, I'm fine, I just tripped over something"

"But there's nothing here" Patton said, helping him stand, "Yes, well I'm sure I just tripped over my feet than" he said, standing, only to fall again, "Okay, I'm starting to think this isn't on accident" he said, standing, falling once more, "Yeah, this is a spell of some kind" he said, sitting back down.

"Sweets, Forrest! Your supposed to be in potions with Professor Snape" McGonagall said, walking down the hall, "Yes, we know, but there's something wrong with Logan" "And what is that?" Logan tried to stand once more, only falling back down like before. "I see" she said, "Can you take him to Madame Pomfrey?" She asked, "I'll tell Professor Snape what happened"

Patton nodded and grabbed Logan's arm, "I guess we're not going to potions" he said, helping him up, "I guess not" "So who do you think did it?" "Probably some Gryffindors" "Well why would they do that?" Logan gestured to his tie, "I'm a Slytherin" "Oh! Well, I think you look good in green, it goes good with your eyes" Logan smiled, his eyes weren't exactly a very pretty colour, just dark brown.

"Thank you Patton" he smiled, "No problem" he said, stopping at a door, "We're here!" He said, opening the door.

Madame Pomfrey walked in and started asking why they weren't in their class, to which they explained what happened.

"Okay, lay down here" she said, letting Patton help him onto the cot, "So what happened?" Patton asked, sitting next to Logan, "He has a jinx on him, it'll stop at midnight" "So do I have to stay here or...?" "You can either stay here or go with a friend to their room" she said, "Or somehow try and stay in your own room" "Can I stay with Patton?"

"What house?" "Hufflepuff" Patton said, "Well, you are in different houses, but we've let far worse slide" she said, writing on a paper, "Give this to the head of your house and have him sign it" she said, handing it to Logan, "Then give the paper to Professor Sprout" "Thank you" he muttered, attempting to get up and failing, "And let him help you, the more you fall the longer it'll stay"

The two walked into potions and gave him the note, which he signed. "Now to continue" he said, watching as Patton helped Logan sit down.

Later Patton took Logan up to his room, "We're here!" He said happily, sitting next to him on his bed, "So what do you want to do?" "What are those on your wall?" He asked, pointing up at a piece of paper, "Oh that? It's just a drawing my sister made of me" "Really? How old is your sister?" "She's nine"

Four years later

"Logan look out!" He turned and felt something hit him, "Sorry Lo" Patton said, balancing himself, "No it's fine" Patton flashed him a grin, "How was class?" "Could have been better, but not too bad" "Well I hope the next one is better, but I have to go, Sally needs help with something" he gave a small wave and left.

Sally was Patton's younger sister, she was now in her third year, but still needed help with some things.

He walked into the library, seeing his sister hunched over a table and reading a book on potions. "So what do you need help on?" She looked up from her book, "Did I say me? I meant you" "What?" She picked up her quill and started writing,

1. Tell him the plan

"What plan?" He asked, reading over her shoulder, "I call it the 'Logan and Patton get married and I get to be a godmother' plan" she said, setting down her quill. "Um... the what plan?" She smirked, "You like Logan right?" "Pfft- No! Of course I don't"

She raised her eyebrow, "Right, okay" she paused and grinned, "Oh hi Logan" she said, waving behind him. "Oh hi Lo! I was-" he cut himself off when he realized she lied, "Okay, I like him" "Yes, I know"

2. Get him to admit

"Now, you like him, he likes you, what do people who like each other do?" "They date..?" He said uncertain, "Yep! So you have to tell him and boom! Your together" "It's not that easy" "Sure it is! Watch," she turned and seen one of her friends, "Charlie!" She turned, "Yeah..?" "C'mere"

She walked over and sat, "What do you need" "Your very pretty and I've been wanting to have a relationship with you for awhile, do you want to date?" "Oh! That was unexpected, but yeah, I'd like to date you" she smiled, "Great, I'll see you in Charms" she nodded and got up, going back to where she was.

She turned to him, "See? Easy" "Right, well he's not in the library" "Actually, he's right there" she pointed over to a desk, "If I turn around and he's not there I won't talk to you for a month" he said, turning around.

His sister was right, he was there.

"Now, go up to him" she urged, lightly pushing him up, unfortunately that wasn't enough and she ended up basically pushing him toward the other. "Hi Sally" Logan said, not looking up from his book, "And Patton" she smiled, "Hi Logan. Here, Patton has something he wants to tell you" she sat him down next to him and left, watching from her seat.

"Hi Lo" Patton said, "What are you reading about?" "Potions and stuff, what are you up to?" "Nothing much" "Do you need help on your essay?" Patton laughed dryly, "Which one?" He smiled, "Divination" (I have no idea if I spelled that right)

"Yeah, I could use some help"

Patton ended up not telling him in the library, but he did finish his essay.

"By the way," Patton said, walking with Logan down the corridor, "I needed to tell you something in the library" "Oh?" "Yeah, you see, I have a small, okay, big crush on you..." He said quickly.

"Why?"

"Um... I don't know, I just do" "Well this is a good time to tell you I like you too" "Wait, what?" He nodded, "I have for awhile actually"

By now Patton was ecstatic, "Oh that's amazing!" He immediately jumped, wrapping his arms around his neck, almost making him fall. "Calm down Pat" "Okay, I'll calm down" he let go, and smiled up at him, "This is great"

Logan smiled, "Yes it is" he leaned and kissed his forehead, "Now, we better get to our common rooms"

The song above is what I was listening to while writing this, I thought I'd start doing it. Also, it reminds me that I'll never be big enough because there's so many other things.
