TW: mention of homophobia, my crappy writing and gayness

{Third Person POV}

"Virgil?" "Yes dear?" "You like children right?" Virgil looked at him curiously, "Well I get along with James And Isabella, Dylan gets along with me pretty well. Why?" "I was wondering if you wanted to adopt" Roman said nervously, Virgil grinned and tackled his husband in a hug, "I'd love to!"

"You would?" Virgil pulled away from the hug, "Of course!" Roman smiled, glad that he said yes, "Okay, do you want to go to the adoption agency tomorrow?" "Well if were going tomorrow we better get to sleep now" Virgil said, taking his husband to their room.

"Virgil!" Roman sang, opening the curtains "Ugh...." Virgil sat up and glared at his husband, "Don't you have to call or something?" he asked, getting up and going to Roman, "I did call" "M'kay" "Don't wear any emo make-up" he said, getting clothes for Virgil, "Why not?" Virgil whined, "I don't think their gonna give us a child if you wear racoon make-up" "Good point"

"Are you sure you called?" Virgil asked as they walked in, "Yes I'm sure" "Okay, so can you walk me through it again?" "We're gonna come in here, fill out some forms, like our jobs and stuff, then we'll have a house inspection, then, if the mother likes us, we'll meet with her"

"Okay, got it" They walked over to the front desk and was greeted by a woman with brown hair and glasses, "Hello. What is your appointment name under?" "It's under 'Young'" Roman said.

She typed on her computer and smiled, "Here are your forms, fill it out and if you have any questions just come to me" Virgil smiled at her and the two sat down.

After awhile they heard their name being called, "Okay, we got this" Roman assured him, "Hello Mr. Young" they heard when they walked in "And Mr. Young, how are you two?" The two sat down, "We're doing well" Roman said, "That's good. Now, I would like to ask you a few questions if that's okay" They nodded, "It's fine" Virgil said.

"Okay, now, Do you have any friends or family that have children?" Roman nodded, "My brother, his brother, and a friend of ours" "Okay, How would you raise a girl?" The two looked at the other, confused by the question.

"Sorry, let me clear it up. Would you raise a girl any differently from a boy?" Virgil shook his head, "Okay, now, what are you willing to adopt?" "We don't really care, girl or boy, twins or triplets" Roman said, Virgil nodding.

"That's good to hear. Now, are you religious in any way?" "We go to church so in a way yes"

They continued answering questions until it was time for them to leave, "We'll call to let you know when the inspection is" "Okay, have a nice day" Roman said as they walked out.

"See? It wasn't that bad" Roman said as they got in the car, "Yeah, I guess it wasn't that bad"

"So how was it?" Patton asked, "Well, I think it went pretty well" Roman said, it was now a few days later, "Of course Virgil thi-" he got cut off by his phone ringing. He picked it up and answered, "Hello?" "Hello, is this Mr. Young?" He heard, it sounded like the woman who was at the front desk "Yes, this is Roman Young" "Okay, now, I wanted to tell you when your inspection is" "Let me get a piece of paper" he said, grabbing that and a pen.

"Are you ready?" "Yep" "Okay, someone will be coming over two days from today, at three-thirty" "Okay, thank you" he said, and hung up. "Was that them?" Patton asked, "Yes it was" "Really?! When are they coming?" "Two days from now"

"Are you nervous?" Logan asked as he walked with Virgil downstairs, "No, Logan I'm perfectly fine" he said sarcastically, "Hi Hot Topic" Roman said when he got downstairs, "Hi Princey" "So what's the plan again?" Remus asked from the couch, "It isn't a plan" Roman said, "The agency asked if they could meet all of you, to make sure we weren't lying"

"Makes sense" Janus said, sitting next to his husband.

They heard a knock and Roman answered the door, he seen a woman with blonde hair, she also seemed to have two different eye colours "Hello Mr. Young, I am Samantha White" she said, "Hello, would you like to meet them all?" She nodded and walked in, "This is Remus" he gestured toward his brother, "He's my brother, and this is Janus, his husband"

Janus waved to her, "I like your eyes" he said, "Well, thank you" she said, looking up from her clipboard, "I got teased quite a lot for it" "Yes, so did I"

"This is their son, Dylan" Dylan smiled up at her, "Hi" he said, "Hi, how are you?" "I'm great!" She smiled and they walked next to Logan and Patton, "This is Logan, Virgil's brother, and his husband Patton" she smiled at them, "This is their son James and daughter Isabella"

"Hi!" James said happily, "Hi, do you like having a sister?" He nodded, "I have a sister too, she's married and has a son too" "Are you married?" She laughed, "I'm engaged" she said, holding up her hand and showing a ring, "Congratulations!" Patton said.

"And this is our friend Carol and her wife Susan" they smiled, "And this is their child, Florence, they are fourteen"

"Well, you two did very good with the inspection, you will get a call when someone suggests you" "Thank you" Roman said, shaking her hand, Virgil doing the same.

"That went well" Virgil said, "Yes. Yes it did"

Roman was sitting with Virgil, they were watching The Nightmare before Christmas and eating popcorn, even though it was the middle of the afternoon.

Virgil was talking about how each character died when Roman got a call, "Hello?" "Hello Mr. Young I have good news" "Who is it?" Virgil asked "It's the agency" Roman said. "You have an appointment with a young lady named Elizibeth tomorrow at eight a.m." "Okay, thank you" Roman said excitedly, "Your welcome, good luck"

Roman hung up and faced his husband, "We have an appointment with a girl named Elizibeth tomorrow at eight!" Virgil grinned, "We do?" Roman nodded, "That's amazing!"

Roman woke up the next morning and immediately smiled, "Virgil wake up" he woke up, "What is it?" "We're meeting Elizebeth today" Virgil perked up at that, "What are we waiting for? We need to get ready!"

The two drove until they got there, both of them very nervous, "Hello Mr. Young and Mr. Young" they heard the same woman from before say, "Hello" Roman said, sitting down in a chair.

"Roman?" "Yes honey?" "What if," he sighed, "What if she doesn't like us?" "I'm sure she will, after all she looked at our file and chose us" Roman gave him a small smile, to most people it would seem real, but Virgil knew it was fake.

"Virgil and Roman Young?"

The two looked at the other and got up. They walked into a room that had drawings on the walls that seemed to be drawn by kids, from happy families to gardens to rainbows. Sitting in a chair was a young lady, she looked to be around seventeen or sixteen years old, she had long, wavy, red hair, her eyes a dark green.

The two walked over and sat down on the couch across from her, "Wow, you two look different from what I thought" she said as they sat down. "What did you expect us to look like?" Roman asked, "I'm not sure, I guess for the hair and make-up stylist I imagined someone who seems confident, and for the chef I imagined someone fun, bold, and daring"

Virgil laughed, "Well you got him right with that bold and daring stuff" Virgil said, pointing over at him, "But I'm more quiet and reserved" "And sassy" Roman added, getting a glare from Virgil in return. "As they do say, opposites attract" "Yeah, they do"

The interview went well. They had found out she had gotten pregnant because she had thought she was gay, and since she was raised by homophobes she wanted to see if she was right.

She was.

"It was nice meeting you" she said as the two left, "It was nice meeting you too"

"We're gonna be uncles?!" Patton squealed, "Patton, we're not sure if they are going to get a child" "Yeah Patton we don't want to get our hopes up" Virgil said, "So don't-" he got cut off by Patton, "Your gonna be a dad!" He said, turning to Roman, "Now, now Patton we don't know if she's go-" he got cut off by his phone going off.

"How many times does that phone have to interrupt you?" Virgil asked as he answered.

When the call was over everyone looked over at him, "She chose us" he whispered, "We're gonna be dads!" "We are?" Roman nodded, "Their twins, she just found out yesterday" "And their twins! We're gonna have twins!" "There's more, it's a boy and a girl" He gasped, "Their a boy and a girl! I can't wait to meet them!"

A few months later and Elizabeth was giving birth, then, a few hours later and Lydia and Matt were born. Virgil held Matt while Roman held Lydia, "Do you want to hold them?" He asked Elizebeth, who nodded, "Here ya go" they both handed her a child.

They were so happy.

It felt like a dream.

"Virgil!" Roman sang, opening the curtains, "Ugh..." Virgil sat up and glared at his husband, "Wait, did it happen?" "Did what happen?" "Is he up yet?" He heard a voice, "Yeah, he's up"

Virgil looked at his door and seen his daughter, he sighed in relief, "It wasn't a dream" "What wasn't a dream? Are you okay?" Roman asked, checking his husband's temperature, "Your not warm" "I may not be warm but I am hot" Roman laughed, "Your right about that" he said, kissing him, "C'mon we still have to wake-up Matt"
