Robin's POV

"Are you certain this girl is her?" Batman asks me and I nod.

"I'm 100% certain yes." I confirm and he nods.

"Fine then, tonight go to the bridge and if she's still there you can bring her here for questioning, she'll need to be tranquillised first though because I don't want her finding out where the secret zeta beams are." Batman says and I nod looking at time.

"It's getting dark now so I'm going to go, if I need backup I'll call KF, him and Flash are still in Gotham." I tell him and he nods.

"Fine, go, just be careful." He says seriously and I look at him confused.

"Bruce she's just a girl my age who steals from markets, she won't be any trouble." I try to convince him as he continues to fix a wheel onto the batmobile.

"I'm just saying, the girl does have a secret identity afterall. No normal market thief has a secret identity." Batman says and I nod then leave and go into the city, Bruce is just being protective over nothing. I mean he lets me fight the big villains like Joker but as soon as a girl my age is involved he is against it, he'll be subtle about it but he won't stop until he gets his own way and I stay away from the girl. This girl isn't even one from my school, she's a criminal I'm locking up. That's Bruce though...

I make it down to the bridge and I'm about to go underneath it when I hear a click I know too well. I slowly turn around and look at the market thief everyone is talking about in school.

She has black hair, porcelain skin and masked eyes. She's wearing black skinny jeans, black combat boots and a dark grey hoodie with a black leather jacket over it. Overall she doesn't look like a street kid at all, more like some antihero.

"Robin is it?" She asks then as the gun at my head, "Who do you work for?" She asks and I look at her. Are you seriously asking me this?

"Batman." I answer and she sighs.

"I'm not retarded, what I meant was who's paying you to find out my identity?" She asks and I shake my head.

"Absolutely nobody, I'm just here to take you to justice." I say and go to her but she dodges me and puts me on the ground in less than a second and the next thing I know the gun is pointed at my head.

"I will break your neck faster than the Flash can run if you don't cooperate with me." She threats releasing me and I stand up catching my breath.

"Who are you and who taught you that?" I ask her seriously. This girl is hiding her ID for a reason, I think she's running from somebody and somebody powerful too. Everyone is locked up though, maybe someone the team hasn't heard of yet? I don't know...

"Rachel?"

I turn to face a girl who looks slightly older than me and Rachel, I presume, with a look of fear on her face.

"Kenzie stay out of this." Rachel says and Kenzie looks at me.

"What are you doing to my friend?" She asks me.

"I'm taking Rachel back with me to be questioned then locked up, she's a criminal and needs to be taken to justice." I say truthfully and Kenzie runs to Rachel and shakes her head.

"Please don't, Rachel isn't bad at all, she's misunderstood! Everything she steals go to kids, she saves them! Please don't take her away!" Kenzie begs and Rachel moves Kenzie off her then walks up to me and leans in to whisper.

"Gotham Park. Tomorrow. 1am. Come alone." She whispers then backs up and I narrow my eyes at her unsure but she nods making me sure enough, I feel like, I can trust her somehow.
