I opened my eyes after a while. To my surprise the first person I saw was Princess Daisy, my cousin.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Peach! Phew, I thought you were dead!" Said Daisy.

"Aw, poor you, you slept through the rest of the Mario and Luigi's death day party," said Bowser, who I had only just noticed was there.

Slept? Huh? Nothing makes sense!

Then I noticed that it was morning. The sky was bright blue and the sun was shining brightly. I also realised where I was. I was in the clown car, soaring above the clouds with Bowser and Daisy.

But Daisy? Why would she be here? And where are we going?

"Daisy, why are you here?" I asked.

"Bowser called me when you got knocked out. He thought it would benefit you to see a familiar face," said Daisy.

"But Daisy, it's Bowser! Aren't you scared?" I asked.

"No. But why should I be? Has he ever done anything to me?" Daisy asked.

She was right. Bowser never kidnaps her, only me. She has nothing to fear.

"But he kidnaps me? Anyway, why would he call you? He doesn't care in the slightest about me!" I said.

"He's not as cold and heartless as you think... Anyway, there's great news!" Daisy said.

Great news? I need some, I've been living in a world of evil minds and bad news for a day now, and I can't stand it any longer!

"What's the news, then?" I asked.

"I'm engaged!" Said Daisy.

What? Daisy, engaged? That doesn't make sense, Luigi's the only person she loves, and he's dead!

"To who?" I ask.

"To Yoshi," she says, and I notice that Yoshi is here too.

Daisy engaged to Yoshi! What's going on?

"But I thought you loved Luigi?" I ask, confused.

"I did, but now he's dead. I should really move on, and you should too," she says.

Is she right? Should I move on?

Daisy kisses Yoshi. Yoshi also says hi to me. He is really nice, but I kind of liked it when Daisy loved Luigi.

"Hey Peach, you're going to be a bridesmaid!" Daisy says.

I'm pleased, since I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid. But I also wish that Luigi was the groom. But at the same time I like Yoshi. Oh why did it have to be like this, so complicated? Why did that annoying Bowser have to kill Mario and Luigi?

"Wow, thanks Daisy!" I say.

"We're here!" Bowser says.

I look out of the clown car and see the Mushroom Kingdom. There are toads below, all cheering and saying "All hail King Bowser" and "All hail Princess Peach". I see a pink castle in the distance.

Please say Bowser hasn't done anything to it!

I cross my fingers and shut my eyes. My castle is very important to me, and if Bowser has changed anything I will be very upset.

I open my eyes, and to my relief, I see that my castle looks almost untouched. It is still pink, and looks almost the same.
