"Where are we going exactly?" Lavender asked.

"A room in my castle. One which is filled with secrets," I tell her.

"Sounds fun!" Lavender says.

"Is it the safe, Peach?" Toadlia asks.

"Yes," I answer her.

"So, there's some kind of secret in your castle?" Lavender asks.

"Exactly," I say.

"A mystery! What about, though? What do you need to know?" Lavender asks.

I tell her the whole story of the third Mario brother. She listens, amazed. Lavender and Toadlia are probably the only two people I can trust.

"Wow, Peach! That's amazing!" Lavender says.

"Who do you think the third brother is, Peach?" Toadlia asks.

I've never really thought about who it could be. I've always assumed that the third brother is someone who lives far away, someone that I've never met. But, he could be someone who's been in the kingdom all along. Maybe someone who I've never noticed before.

There's so many possibilities. It could be anyone.

"Peach, are you alright?" Lavender asks, after a long silence.

"Oh? Yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking," I say, surprised.

"This is the room!" Toadlia says.

We walk in. Nothing much has changed. It's summer, so it's quite bright. However, the room doesn't have any windows, so the only light is coming from the corridor.

"There must be a way to get it open," Lavender says.

"Hmm...," I say, thinking.

Toadlia bashes the sides of the safe. It doesn't budge.

"Clearly whoever put this safe here is desperately trying to hide something," Toadlia says.

She's got a point. If you wanted to hide something, my castle would be an excellent place to do so. No one ever suspects anything could possibly be hidden in my castle. I guess I'm just not the kind of person who keeps dark secrets.

"You're right," I tell her.

"It's quite old-looking, too. I'd say this safe hasn't been put here recently," Lavender says.

"It's been here a while," I tell her.

"And no one's ever noticed it before? That I find hard to believe," Lavender says.

"You're right. It is odd," Toadlia says

"There must be an explaination for it...," I say.

"I don't think there is. Is it possible the safe has been moved here from somewhere else?" Lavender asks.

I shake my head.

"Someone would have noticed. It's a small kingdom," I tell her.

"Oh! I know! What if the room is enchanted to only appear at a certain time! Maybe it was hidden before!" Lavender says.

I stare at her.

She's got an idea. It is perfectly possible as well. She could have solved the whole mystery.

"You know what? I think that you're right," I say to her.

"That's something solved, then," She says.

I'm pleased. Finally one of these mysteries is solved. However, there are still plenty more to come. We still need to open the safe, after all.

"How do we open it now?" Toadlia asks.

"I don't now," Peach said.

"No clue at all?" Toadlia asks hopefully

I shake me head. It is really hopeless. How will we solve all this mysteries?

It just can't be done.

"I know! Your power, Peach!" Lavender said.

"Huh?" I ask, surprised.

I've never thought of that before. She might have solved both mysteries. Wow.

"Think about it. Clearly this safe has something magical about it. Give it a go!" Lavender says.

"Alright. I'll try it," I say.

I hold my hand out. I try really hard, and sure enough, a whirlwind appears. The whirlwind spins towards the safe. I wait.

It moves slightly.

Then it bursts open.

Toadlia and Lavender peer inside, then gasp.

I wonder what they've seen, so I look inside too.

And then I gasp.

It's empty.
