First time at school
'A dangerous power will come to threaten both good and evil. The Blot.
Certain students of Night Raven College will fall victim, and will Overblot. Their power, if not stopped, will cause them to rampage, endangering all.
The only way to stop them and cure their blot will be a child born of the Black God; Chernabog.
Seek out a surrogate mother, a witch with the strongest light magic so the child won't overblot themselves.
That child born will stop the Blot, and in time, will be crowned as this land's new queen.'

When Y/N came to, all she could see was darkness, and from the looks of it, she was in a coffin.
"What the? How did I get in a coffin? Argh! If I don't get out, I'll suffocate!"
Chernette pushed with all her might and was able to open up the coffin with some of her magic and looked around. She appeared to be in a place with coffins that seemed to be floating around. Checking her person, she saw that she still had bag of potions and such. She then saw that she was in a dark room with floating coffins around her.
"What is this place..?" She questioned as she then turned her head to come face to face with...
"...A floating, fire racoon?
"HEY! I'm no racoon! The name's Grim, and don't you forget it, because I'm gonna be the most powerful sorcerer in the world! Now, give me those clothes! Or else... I'll roast you whole!"
"Wha?" Chernette looked at herself a second time, noticing she was wearing a black and purple robe with golden accents. It looked like one used for cults.
'Did some kind of cult bring me here?' She thought.
"Hey, I don't have time to fool around!" Grim said as he attacked with fire.
But Chernette dodged the attack, and used her magic.
"Shadow Submission!" And just like that, the cat was weakened with his fire power reduced.
"Hey, what's going on? I feel weak!" He exclaimed.
"That was amazing! You didn't even need my help!" A new voice applauded.
"Wha? Who are you?" Chernette asked.
"My name is Dire Crowley, the headmaster of Night Raven College.
Its a place where magicians with exceptional talents gather, in Twisted Wonderland's most prestigious magician training academy. we were informed of a new arrival, and it appears that it was you miss. You're also the first female student we've ever received, since this is an all-boys school." Crowley explained.
'An all-boys school? I may be getting stalkers now.'
"Well, the ceremony had already passed making you a late entry. It would've gotten you here on time, but the carrige sent for you got lost. I can still be able to ask the mirror where to put you first." He said as a mirror showed up with a face in it.
"Now, state thy name."
"Chernette Malenth Duskstone."
.............
"She has strong magic beyond living comprehension, but I can't place her in any of the dorms. They don't seem to match with hers." The mirror said.
Crowley had a frown on his face and asked: "What's your magic?" He asks.
"I actually have light and dark magic. My mother told me my dark magic derived from my father, while I gained the light magic from her." Chernette said showing her talisman.
"My, my! I never heard of anyone who could posses both types of magic!" Crowley praised in his excitement. "Still...wait. I think there's one dorm that you can use, but it's pretty much abandoned."
"I don't mind as long as it gets fixed and can still be habitable. Though, what to do with the racoon?" Chernette said as she lifted the cat by the tail.
"Hey, put me down!"
"This creature isn't yours?" Crowley asked.
"No. I don't recall having him before." Chernette said, before continuing. "But he said he wanted to be a student here so he can be a wizard."
Crowley looked like he was in deep thought, then he came up with an idea. "Well, how's this? He can be a student along with you. But you'll have to take responsibility of him, seeing how he's a little unruly."
Seeing how she got here with nowhere else to go, and her mother dead, Chernette accepted the conditions. Thankfully, she still had her own money that she can exchange for whatever currency this world had. And she still had some valuable items she could sell, maybe.
Nevertheless, she was about to start her life at Night Raven College with little knowledge of what or who she would encounter.
-------
Grim and Chernette took a look at the dorm, and she internally thought that this was no place for a man or beast to live in.
Grim looked a little disturbed by the place, as if it would fall anytime.
Bidding Crowlsey good day, Chernette turned to look at the place figuring she needed help.
"Hey, how does he expect us to fix this?! I ain't a handyman!" Grim complained.
"Well, get used to it, we have to get this place all fixed up to live in. But it'll be worth it!" Chernette said as she began to get to work.
In the process of fixing the dorm, Grim and Chernette came across the resident ghosts of the place. However, Chernette wasn't scared of them, while the ghosts seemed to sence something from her which told them not to toy with her. By dinner, and with extra help from the ghosts, since Chernette mentioned if the Place wasn't fixed up it would crumble away either way, and they would have no place to haunt, they were able to at least fix up the leaks, cracks and any damage done to the place. By the time night fell, her bedroom was all spruced up along with the lounge, kitchen, and some bathrooms. Within the next week they could finish the place.
"Well at least a good part is livable now." Grim yawned as Chernette thanked the ghosts for their help as she got ready for bed.
"You think we'll get through this new life here?" Chernette asked Grim who was already in bed.
"Ah, we'll get there when we get there. Go to sleep." Grim grumbled under the covers.
Chernette smiled and shook her head. Getting into bed, she took Grim and snuggled him like a plush toy, but not too tight.
'Mom, I may not know what does place has in-store for me, but I'll do my best!' Chernette thought as she fell asleep.
--------------
The next day...
"Hey, have you heard? We're finally having a girl attend here!"
"No way. Really?"
Students began chatting about the news that quickly spread about a girl attending their dominantly male school.
Y/N and Grim walked into the college class, seeing they were in Class 1-A. Chernette was too busy talking with Grim to notice that a number of boys were looking at her, mostly her developed figure. Heck, even with the uniform on her, she had to wear an undershirt which was only a black tank top, the jacket couldn't be buttoned up, and the vest only enveloped her waist. Her chest only added more to the image of her figure. She should be at least lucky that she was wearing pants.
First class was Alchemy with a Divius Crewel. He was fashionable man in Chernette's opinion and thought he was probably a fashionista before being a teacher.
Though she had never been in a classroom before, she was able to understand what were the basics Crewel was talking about.
-------------
Before Chernette and Grim knew it, the day had passed by.
The two of them were currently in the courtyard with Chernette going over the notes.
"Why are you going over the notes, it's only the first day of school." Grim asked as he yawned.
"Maybe, but you never know when the teacher will jump a pop quiz. Plus I heard that faculties don't give you a hard time if you have good grades."
"I suppose..."
Then in a book she was reading, she saw some runes that looked really familiar.
It was the same runes that her talisman had.
She wondered what this could mean...
-----------
Later that day, Chernette and Grim were visited by Crowley regarding her talisman.
"I had confirmed it. This is definitely a Talisman that and helps you control light and dark magic. From the looks of it I also found a book with similar runes to the dark magic ones. But to be honest, there was said to be only one being who could recite these..." Crowley said only to see Chernette reading and actually understanding the runes!
And to his shock, a pair of demonic wings seemed to emerge behind her, only to vanish. Then small sparks of flames came across the book and took the shape of small demons. They looked curious of Chernette as she looked at them. And then they vanished.
Crowley's eyes in his mask grew even more as he seemed to put two and two together.
"In all my years! I never thought! My dear, you mentioned that you never knew your father, right?"
Chernette nodded, and Crowley continued. "Then this could explain it all! You're the daughter of Chernabog!"
"Chernabog...?"
"Yes, he was known as the Slavic entity of all things considered villainous and dark. In fact, many members of the Great Seven were said to have gotten their power from him. The Beautiful Queen, the Merciful Sea Witch, and the Witch of Thorns for example, they were said to have pledged themselves to him in turn for dark magic and the like. And before becoming a genie, the Sorcerer of the Desert gained his knowledge of Alchemy and Astronomy from him to further his own goal of gaining the Magic Lamp. But with the minor power you just displayed, only the Black God was able to do something like that. The information you provided that you never knew him before makes even more sense." He summerized.
Chernette pondered this. She never thought her dad would be such a being. This meant she was figuratively from Twisted Wonderland in the first place and she's returned to her fatherland. But this had more questions: Why was her mother a light witch when he was a being of darkness? And why was she raised away from him?
It nagged at her mind...
---------------
before starting off the main story...
What do u think I should do for Chernette's lineage being revealed? One dorm at a time? To happen during the overblots? Decisions, decisions.
