"I hate this. Everything about this is just not right." You hold your baby girl, Athena, close to your chest as she rests peaceful. Jungkook brushes his hair back and places a kiss to your cheek. Jin and Taehyung stand protectively around you and your children along with Carl and Jae. Your safety was Jungkook's top priority and he was making sure no one was going to hurt his family.

He also explained the situation at the moment and now you're worried for his safety and your children. The sun has already down and there wasn't a lot of time left for them to decide what to do. It's a life or death situation and the clock was ticking.

"Do you have to go with them? What if she tries something?"

"Hoseok will make sure that doesn't happen." Namjoon reassures you while Jin holds onto his hand. Jungkook kisses your lips this time and presses his forehead against yours. "I promise you that I'll be back to take our babies home, princess." Athena starts to whine and you quickly rock her. Jungkook looks down at her before kissing her forehead.

"Daddy is gonna be alright sweetie." He whispers. She stops crying entirely and her eyes blink open. Jungkook can't seem to look away when his daughter stares at him with her big eyes. Jungkook inhales sharply before kissing your lips once more and walks over to Jaesung's crib. He kisses his little boy before kissing Amira as well.

Namjoon hugs Jin close to him. Reassuring him that he'll make it out with his family as well. They both walk out the room and down the hallway. Exiting the hospital, they walk over to Hoseok's car. As Jungkook enters the backseat he suddenly tenses. In a car seat is a baby wrapped up, sleeping soundly unaware of the circumstances.

Now he's having second thoughts as he stands outside of the car looking down at the child. "Are you ok?" Namjoon places his hand on his shoulder while Jungkook gulps.

"C-Can I just sit in the front seat instead?" Namjoon nods and they switch places. Hoseok is already in the drivers seat, buckled up with the engine revving. Namjoon makes sure the child is strapped in safely.

"Does the baby have a name?" Jungkook ask. Hoseok stiffens slightly before pulling off from the curb and onto the road. "The mother said it's better for her not to get attached. So she didn't give the child a name." Hoseok replies. Jungkook looks out the window, hoping that this day won't be a complete and utter tragedy.

"Alright guys. I'm in position."

Hoseok looks through the scope and over to the apartment building Halo's located at. "Ok good." Namjoon replies back into the mic. Cars surround the building with tinted windows and Namjoon can already tell it was the police station. "They're two vests in the trunk. I suggest you both wear them just incase this bitch tries anything."

"She wouldn't hurt Jungkook. So I'll wear it." Namjoon opens the trunk and pulls out a vest; quickly undressing in the the parking lot. Jungkook unbuckles the sleeping baby and a note falls from the baby's blanket. Jungkook picks it up to read it only to have his heart crack slightly.

"Please keep my baby girl alive. I may not have her but someone out there can."

Guilt starts to attack his consciousness and fragile heart. The child is wide awake and he looks down at her. It's the same look his child gave him but different. Jungkook shakes his head and quickly straps the baby back into the car seat.

"I can't do this. We are not giving this baby to her." Namjoon groans and buttons up his shirt. He walks over to Jungkook and his jaw clenched as Jungkook turns to look at him. He knew bringing Jungkook here would cause a problem. "This baby isn't as different from our own children Namjoon. Only thing is her mother can't have her for certain reasons. Just look at her Namjoon." The taller male looks at the child and the same guilt hits him like a train.

"Jungkook I hate this more than you do. It's just—"

"Then don't give the child up! Where is your humanity Namjoon?" The look in Namjoon's eyes frightens him and he takes a step back.

"It left the day this bitch decided to try and kill my children. It was gone the moment I heard my child crying over the phone and I couldn't do anything to stop it. But now I have the chance to save my family and get my humanity back. I promise you that; this child will not get harmed Jungkook. As a father please understand I'm just doing my best of my ability to save the ones I love."

Namjoon's chest heaves as his tears threaten to show. Jungkook glances from the child back to Namjoon. The disparity in his eyes when Namjoon holds his gaze with his. "Namjoon you will get your humanity back but not like this." Jungkook shakes his head and Namjoon pulls on his hair now. 

"Then what do you suppose we do?"

"If she wants me then we give her what she wants. Just send me by myself and bring in the child when things get drastic."

"Guys she's on the move." Hoseok watches as Halo quickly walks into the kitchen. Namjoon curses under his breath before sighing. "Fine but go now." Jungkook sprints into action and runs as fast as possible. He's out of breath by the time he runs into the apartment building and up the steps. His legs start to cramp. By the time he's up the stairs he can hear glass shattering. He runs over to the apartment, pounding the door with his fist.

"Halo open the fucking door!" He shouts. The door slowly opens to reveal Halo with Cameron in her arms; gun pointed to his head. His eyes are puffy from all the tears he shed. Jungkook raises his hands and cautiously walks inside. Closing the door behind him, Halo gulps when she sees the fear in Jungkook's eyes.

"Where is Namjoon with the baby?" She ask.

"I came here instead. You don't have to do this Halo. I know you're a good person and you can do so much better." Jungkook is careful of his words as he tries to talk her out of this. He can see the gun in her hand shake.

"Everyone is trying to pull us apart Jungkook." Her lips tremble and he takes a step towards her. He nods as the gun goes further to the little boy's head. "I know, I know. But I'm here now Halo. I'm here and we can work something out."

"But you got that stupid bitch pregnant!" She shouts. Halo starts to cry and her finger pushes on the trigger slightly. "That was suppose to be our child."

"But what about Lisa?" Jungkook questions. The stunned look on her face makes Jungkook take a step closer. "I know you still deeply care for her. She wouldn't like it if you went behind her back and kidnap a child that isn't yours. She wouldn't forgive you for killing a child."

Halo slowly lowers her hand and there's a slight relief washing over Jungkook. "So please just give me the gun." Hoseok tracks every movement in the apartment and watches as Jungkook slowly reaches for the weapon. He successfully takes it and throws it as far away from her.

"B-But she never even loved me. She looks at me as if I'm not even human." Halo backs away now and grabs the knife off the counter and putting it to Cameron's throat.

"No, no, no. Halo please listen to me."

"Namjoon go in there now." Hoseok says into the mic and Namjoon shakes his head as he watches from the parking lot with his binoculars. "Not yet Hoseok."

"I can't make the shot if she has your fucking son." Namjoon bites his lip still shaking his head. "He needs more time."

Meanwhile Halo and Jungkook walk around in circles. Halo with the knife in her shaken hands. "She hates me. There's no love in her eyes every time she looks at me." Halo sobs and Jungkook tries his best to convince her. "Halo listen to me. She may not love you but look what you're doing. You're doing all of this for what?"

"For us." She whispers. Jungkook shakes his head and starts closing the gap between them. "Halo do you care for me?" She nods her head and the knife moves slightly away from Cameron's neck.

"If you truly and deeply care for me then give me the child."

"You're only saying that cause you don't want me to kill him." She points the knife at Jungkook now as he stands a few inches away from her. "Just put the child down and take me. Then we can have all the kids you want. We can leave and have our own family. Just please put him down." She gulps and looks at the child. Cameron remains quiet as she puts the baby down; too terrified to move or say anything.

Once Hoseok has a better angle he takes the shot.

The bullet spirals in her direction. "I—" Glass shatters as the bullet makes impact. Everything seems to move in slow motion and Jungkook lunges towards her and grabs Cameron as the bullet hits Halo directly in her skull.

Jungkook covers Cameron with his body and hold him close to his chest as they fall to the floor. He pants heavily as Cameron starts to cry and he stands to his feet. He notices a small scratch on the boy's knee and softly rubs his hair back.

"It's ok buddy. We're safe now." Jungkook looks down at Halo's dead body and sighs heavily. He walks over to the window and waves towards Hoseok.

"Namjoon it's done. Your kids are safe now."
