Luigi seemed to be at the brink of tears, which caused Peasley's heart to splinter. He was trying, trying very hard, to be mad or even a bit cross with Luigi, but with no avail. Luigi's apology had been so sincere, so innocent. Peasley stood up with a wince but waddled over to his partner embracing him. Luigi's gloved hands shakily raised to hug Peasley back. Peasley pressed him closer as did Luigi. Peasley brought his delicate hands upward until he was holding Luigi's face in them so that his eyes met his. "Oh my dear Luigi...." He said near tears himself "my wounds will heal, but if I were to break your heart..." He paused "I would never be able to live with myself if I was the reason for any of your pain." He stared deep into Luigi's eyes, his beautiful blue eyes, like the sky full of stars in the day time. Peasley didn't think before he put his hands behind Luigi's head and pulled him into a kiss. His hat fell to the floor as he lurched foreword to meet Peasley. Luigi's eyes were wide in alarm, for he did not expect such a thing. His face grew Crimson as did Peasley's. He felt soothed as Peasley wrapped him up in his arms and brought him even closer. His eyes closed as he was fully enveloped in the beauty of the kiss. Peasley nearly chortled as the green man's mustache tickled his lip. They had never really kissed before. Until now it was little pecks that they would share.

Peasley slowly pulled back. Although the kiss lasted for a while he felt it wasn't enough. The way Luigi looked at him he knew that the green man felt the same. Yes. This was true, pure, sincere love; and no man could break it. Not even Mario. Peasley would fall out of 1,000 windows for Luigi, and he knew that he'd do the same.
