Peasley opened his eyes slowly. He had been dozing most all day. He had begun to recover from his fall when Mario pushed him out of the window without his flying bean. He sat up slowly after hearing a knock on the door. He winced as he stood up and put a crutch under his arm. He slowly shuffled up to the door and opened it with a creak. Peasley wanted to smile and rejoice but he could only scowl at the green mustached man in the doorway. Chilly wind seeped into his house and wove itself into his clothes. Peasley shivered, "hey luigi".
Luigi nervously shuffled his feet and was fidgeting with something in his hands. He felt bad now. Luigi came all this way in the cold to visit and by the look of it he had to walk. "Come in" Peasley nervously ushered. Luigi stepped in and immediately, and lazily, used his feet to slip off his shoes. Peasley was almost proud that Luigi had remembered how OCD he was with shoes and dirt.
Peasley shut the door behind his partner and crutched his way to a chair followed by Luigi. After plopping down with a small grunt Peasley finally asked "so what brings you here?" He said and looked up to Luigi. His eyes shone a beautiful blue that made him fall in love all over despite the pain he had he couldn't help lifting his grudge, just a little.
"I wanted to uhh" Luigi began nervously, his blue eyes scanned "say sorry... For uhh my brother... He didn't know and I-I-I was going to tell him but I umm..." Luigi but his lip and guiltily looked down at the floor "I'm sorry"
