Adrien was at Marinette's room practicing his resistance to not lose his grip from hanging upside down. He was hanging upside down for 10 minutes while Marinette shows the pictures for a reaction.

"A lion?" Marinette showed the picture and it made Adrien feel strong like a lion, "Shadow Moth?" She showed another one and it made him hiss.

"Okay, okay, um, Chloe?" Marinette showed a picture of Chloe.

"Hmph!" He looked away in a huff that Chloe is always the obnoxious brat.

"Adorable kittens?" Marinette shoes a picture of kittens.

"Aw so cute" Adrien smiled but he kept his feet on the ceiling so he doesn't fall, "Come on. Give me a harder one"

"How about this?" Marinette showed a picture of a tarantula.

"Aaahh!!!!" He lost his grip and fell.

"Oh, sorry Adrien! Are you okay?" Marinette ran to him.

"Yeah, but at least I can heal" Adrien groaned and stands up, "We both are afraid of spiders"

"Yeah, spiders are predators of ladybugs in real life," Marinette said.

"Yep. But anyway, I'm doing fine" Adrien said.

"You hit your head," Marinette said.

"I know" Adrien rubs the spot.

"My poor kitty" Marinette scratched his chin.

"My sweet lady" Adrien held her close.

"Do you always have to be so batty every night?" She asked with a tease.

"Maybe I do" Adrien teased back.

"Being a bat is the only flying mammal that you can fly" Marinette said.

"The rest just glide," Adrien said.

"You seem to love nocturnal animals," Marinette said.

"I do. Any type of them" Adrien said.

Marinette can see what he's thinking about. He's thinking about why his father threatened Alya and his best pal Nino and he's going there to get some answers tonight.

"Adrien, I know what you're thinking by those glowing red eyes. I told you. He knew Alya was Rena Rouge" Marinette said.

"I know but I want to know the real truth from him and why. Especially that day he accused my best pal Nino that wanted to host my 14th birthday. I need answers, milady. All I ever done is let my father get away with it" Adrien said with his eyes glowing red.

"Didn't you say that you can look into anyone's memories by biting them? That way you can find the answers" Marinette reminded him.

"Yes but I just saw his memories, not the truth. I'm going there tonight, no hypnosis this time unless he lies to me again" Adrien said.

"Okay but be careful," Marinette said, kissing his cheek.

"I'm always careful, my love. And I promise I won't kill him or drain him" Adrien assured before morphing into a bat.

At the prison, Gabriel was laying on his bed until Bat Adrien flew through and morphed into human form.

"Hello, father. Spooky night, huh?" Adrien startled him.

"Adrien?! What do you want now from me?!" Gabriel exclaims.

"The truth. During that Sentibubbler incident, why did you threaten Alya and her family?" Adrien demanded an answer.

"What does that matter to you?!" Gabriel replied.

"Tell me father or I'll bite your neck again!" Adrien demanded.

"It all began after I discovered she is Rena Rouge" Gabriel began.

"Go on!" Adrien demanded.

"I needed the fox miraculous!" Gabriel answered.

"By threatening her?! Almost sending her family into space so they can die without air?! You're a psycho!" Adrien growled.

"So says, everyone. She's just as worthless like the rest...AGH!" Gabriel was pinned to the wall roughly.

"Don't you dare! Alya is like a sister to me! You'll be spending until you die sitting in your cell!" Adrien scowled, "You also threaten my best friend Nino as a bad influence! You barely ever see me happy with my friends!" Adrien hissed.

"You shouldn't have met them! Even that Dupain-Cheng!" Gabriel yelled.

But this made Adrien angry and punched him in the gut, "You're so blinded by insanity, you barely even know how to be supportive! I'm nothing like you, father! All you care about is yourself! You got another threat to share before I bite your wrist again? This will be much more painful" Adrien warned him.

"How will I send a threat? I'm all imprisoned and Paris is safe" Gabriel replied.

"You threatened my friends! You even accused my best friend as an influence! And Lila, she's a pathological liar, and yet you have her volunteer into photo shooting!" Adrien yelled.

"She's no use for me anymore," Gabriel said.

"Good! And I hope for sure she's not allowed in here to visit you!" Adrien's eyes glowed.

"The court has forbidden visitors for me," Gabriel said.

"So that you don't ever manipulate them. Just like you manipulated me" Adrien glared.

"However, there might come other threats not connected with me" Gabriel added.

"Don't be so sure. I fought monsters in Transylvania and here I am, unharmed. No one is a match for me. And I remember you blame me for everything but yourself. Remember in New York? You terrorized it and blamed me for being in a city that's dangerous. You like to play with my guilt, don't you?" Adrien scowled at him.

"I was protecting you!" Gabriel said.

"You didn't! You made me abandon my classmates! You ruined everything!" Adrien pins him again to the wall, "With you out of the way, I don't need to obey you anymore! I'm no one's puppet. From now on, you will never see my mother again! She'll find a better man that isn't like you!" Adrien knee kicks him in the stomach.

"AGH! Damn you!" Gabriel fell to the floor.

"Maybe my future stepfather will be a better father than you! I hope you rot in Hell!" Adrien spreads his arms out and morphed into a bat.

He flew out of the prison and back to Marinette's apartment. He flies through her open window and morphed back into human form.

"So did it go?" Marinette asked.

"Just some rough talk" Adrien replied.

"Too much hell?" Marinette guessed.

"Yes and reminding him of all the time he used me and manipulated me," Adrien said.

"Give me an example, kitty," Marinette said.

"Like the events of New York for example" Adrien brought it up.

"Oh, that I remember. He made you leave us. But it turns out he was the one who terrorized it" Marinette said sadly.

"Yes, I should have known," Adrien said.

He morphed into a bat and hung upside and folded his wings, "I should've stayed. It was so wrong of me to listen to him but the only thing I couldn't do is disobey him"

"Oh poor you" Marinette sat on the loft bed.

"And also for threatening Alya and her family" Bat Adrien said.

"You're getting this out of your chest, are you?" Marinette can tell that he's healing emotionally.

"Yes, living these years as his slave" Bat Adrien said.

"Until your life as a vampire brought you your freedom," Marinette said.

He then morphed into a black cat, "Yeah, it did. Anyways, good night, my princess"

"Good night kitty" Marinette held him in her arms before drifting to sleep.

The next morning, Adrien was having breakfast with his mother at the dining table. For a month he no longer feels alone anymore and that his mother is always there for him, unlike his father.

"Mom, I know it's been a month but I just want you to be happy. No matter which man will make you happy" Adrien said as he ate his food.

"I just need some time after the divorce, it ain't easy after finding out what your father has done," Emilie said.

"You and I are healing mentally, mother. I already put that past behind me. As for Felix, I hope he learned his lesson. Aunt Amelie was not impressed" Adrien said.

"She can't stay mad at him forever. He's just a kid" Emilie said.

"Yeah, I miss the times he and I were good friends," Adrien said.

"I understand Adrien" Emilie replied.

"Well, time to head to school. I'll see you after school, Mother" He kissed her cheek.

"See you soon" Emilie bid her son goodbye.

He applied sunscreen on his face and arms so he doesn't get burned by sunlight.

"That should do it with 2 hours of sunscreen," He said.

"So you don't get roasted," Plagg said.

"Yep. Let's go" Adrien heads out the door.

As he did, he felt a little warm in the sunlight than getting burned on fire.

"You really do miss being in daylight," Plagg said.

"I'd go crazy if I'm always in darkness," Adrien said.

"How ironic there are types of vampire movies who can withstand sunlight," Plagg said.

"And let's not forget that I won't go blind," Adrien said.

"Oh yeah though bats aren't really blind," Plagg said.

"I know but what I mean is if I stay in the dark for a century and come out in daylight, I'll go blind" Adrien corrected.

"Oh right of course. Let's hope your father remains imprisoned" Plagg hides inside Adrien's jacket.

"I hope" Adrien replied.

Once arriving at school, Adrien went to his seat waiting for the others. He glared at Chloe with his scowling eyes like his cousin's. Chloe noticed and gave him a nervous look.

"Alright people! This is no game, you try to stop me and this building goes!" Adrien heard a terrorist shout outside and he ran through the school to search for the place the bomb is placed at, he ran to the main hall and saw him holding several students and teachers hostage with his gun and a switch in his hand. He saw several bombs placed around the school ready to be set off at any moment, running at such speed to remove them off the walls and ceilings. He ran outside with the bombs before running inside taking the switch away from the terrorist.

"Sorry ladies and gentlemen but the time has come....huh?!" The terrorist noticed the button was not in his hand.

"Looking for this?" Adrien held the remote, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. How cold-hearted you are to try to blow up the school"

"How did you?!" The terrorist gasps.

"Hyah!" Adrien headbutts him in the face to knock him out, causing everyone to gasp loudly.

"Wow, that was amazing!" One of the students exclaims.

"Thanks. Call the police" Adrien said.

"Got it" They started to call the cops.
