The next day, Cat Noir was at the council talking about returning to Paris as the prince of darkness.

"Are you sure you are ready to return, Cat Noir?" Dracula asked.

"Yes. I'm not doing this for her, I'm doing this for those I care about. Paris will be destroyed if I'm not there to protect my home country" Cat Noir explained, "Think of it like an apple that's fresh, delicious, and alive" He held out the apple, "But if it's destroyed" He sank his fangs in the apple to suck the juice, "It would be like life has been drained dry" He showed the apple dried like a raisin.

"Well then. Your decision has been made clear" Dracula said.

"Yes, Paris is my home after all" Cat Noir said.

"Muchacho, you growing up mentally," The Spanish vampire woman said.

"Yes. I'm departing tonight" Cat Noir said and handed the bow to Dracula but the vampire lord insists that the feline takes it.

"Keep it as a reminder," Dracula said.

"Very well my lord. I'll be back to you all one day" Cat Noir said.

"I know Paris was your human life but who knows if something changes your mind to stay. You were like a son to me" Dracula said.

"I know. You're like the father I've always wanted and the best mentor I've got. But I'm ready to prove myself" Cat Noir replied.

"That's the spirit. Go and make us proud, boy" Dracula said.

The feline bowed and left the castle by jumping out the window and landing on his feet without broken bones or severe injuries.

"Claws in" He detransformed to let his kwami rest while he stays hidden away from the sun's rays of dusk. At least he has his sunproof cloak for protection.

"Paris, here I come," He said and headed for the city.

In Paris, Marinette was sitting on the balcony on the roof looking up at the sky. She hopes that Cat Noir comes back but he said he can't aid her in daylight anymore and that she needs someone to aid her in daylight. She thought of 'Adrien' as being helpful but during the Desperada incident, he failed as Aspik.

"If only I could go back in time and prevent it all from happening, though an altered timeline or paradox can be made," Marinette said.

"Cat Noir is in there, somewhere. He never breaks a promise" Tikki said.

"I'm done with him. If he has no heart, he'll never forgive me. I think I'm working alone for now" Marinette said.

"You can't just say that, Marinette. The cause of this was you, not him. You have to understand how he feels. He's been in love with you like forever. He sacrificed his life for you so many times" Tikki said, knowing that Cat Noir is Adrien but she could not tell this to Marinette. Kwamis are forbidden to tell their owners of another holder's identities.

"I know I messed it up and I'm not forgiving myself either! I was too late to know that!" Marinette snapped.

"Calm down, Marinette! You got to pull yourself together, please!" Tikki begged.

"You're right" Marinette calms down and takes a deep breath, "But he's hurt from my lies and secrets. I was only trying to protect him but it tore us apart" Marinette sobbed.

"Marinette, he's not a helpless child. He wanted so much that he cared about you. But even if he's not human anymore, there has to be that old Cat Noir somewhere inside. We should be heading to Startrain. He might be here any moment" Tikki suggested.

"Alright, Tikki spots on!" Marinette transformed leaps across the rooftops.

She came to the Startrain rooftop and looked through the glass window roof of the train arriving and the passengers came out. One by one as they all came out, Cat Noir came out wearing a black cloak along with his new weapon, bow, and arrows.

"This is it," Ladybug said to herself.

She followed him into the alley but the dark night helped him blend in the shadows. She heard his voice and as she came into the next alley, she found him drinking blood of a thug.

Disgusted she moves away, gasping in horror, "Gross!" She thought.

She then heard the neck snap and body thud on the ground. Cat Noir had to dispose of his victim or that he'll remember everything.

"Miss me, Ladybug? I just finished my dinner" Cat Noir said, knowing that she's close by.

"Did you have to kill him?" Ladybug replied.

"I don't have a choice, milady." He sped in a flash and appeared in front of her with glowing red feline eyes, "I can still eat normal food but if I don't drink blood to satisfy my hunger, I die. Or worse, attack humans"

"And to be looking young I guess," Ladybug said.

"Hmph, and I simply watch everyone grow old and die while I remain immortal. Su-Han was not happy, was he?" He smirked and caught someone's kicking foot from behind, "Hello, grandmaster" He said in Chinese and flipped over, kicking Su-Han aside.

"You did come back, Cat Noir" Su-Han stood up.

"I did but I'm not the same anymore. When I find Shadow Moth, my claws will show the meaning of justice" Cat Noir said, leaving them behind and going to find an abandoned building to live at.

"He changed a lot" Ladybug sighs.

"That feline is too feral! He needs to be tamed!" Su-Han said.

"I'll try to tame him. After all, I'm the cause of all this" Ladybug ran after Cat noir.

With Cat Noir, he arrived at a worn-down building and opens the doors, "This place will do for now"

Rats squeaked around but ran off since they are no match. An old bed wasn't the best but he had to lie down on something but he needs a coffin to sleep in during the daytime. As for Plagg, he'll need cheese since always eats them like a pig.

"I thought I find you here" Ladybug came through the window.

"What do you expect? I'm an outcast, thanks to you" Cat Noir said.

"Cut that out. I've learned my lesson long enough!" Ladybug was fed up.

"Have you? How many times have you lied and kept secrets from me? Better yet, how long will you distant me until one day I side with Shadow Moth the same way you did to Chloe? Master Fu trusted me but you didn't" Cat Noir said with a little anger in his eyes. "You're like my father"

"I'M NOT GONNA LEAVE YOU AGAIN!!! OKAY?!!" Ladybug finally had enough and burst out yelling, shocking Cat Noir, "Cat Noir, just please look deep in your heart and try to see that I'm truly sorry for hurting you" She begged.

Cat Noir may not have a pulse or heartbeat but if he wants to accept her apology, she has to trust him more than pushing him away, "Prove to me that you won't put a stake to my heart" He demanded.

Ladybug walks up to Cat Noir and gently held him close to give him a long kiss on his lips; Cat Noir tensed up by the kiss but soon gave in to the kiss. He let her tongue inside his mouth to lick his fangs, moaning as they did so. The feline's hand traveled to her waist and down to her thigh, gripping them and putting her leg around his waist while deepening the kiss, hearing her moan a little made his inner feline nature purr in excitement.

They fell down on the bed with Ladybug on top of him, "See? Love conquers hate, kitty" Ladybug said.

"Hmm......" He wrapped his legs around her waist to prevent her from escaping, "But can it work on a vampire like me that has no heartbeat?" He smirked and removed her scrunchies to let her hair down, "Scared?"

"Not anymore, Count Noir," Ladybug said.

"I'm the lord and the prince of darkness for real, bugabride" Cat Noir grinned and stroked her waist, "Kiss and make up, milady"

"Pucker up, Kitty" Ladybug kissed Cat Noir some more, overcoming her guilt. She cups his face as they kissed, even touching his blond hair.

Eventually, he trailed his tongue on her suited neck, hissing in lust as he took a little bite on her neck.

"Ahhh!" Ladybug moans in minor pain as he imprints on her, "Kitty....I...." Ladybug tried to speak.

"I know. I won't turn you. Just relax" He sits up and held her still, drinking her blood a little without trying to hurt her. He wasn't ready to use a cohesive vision to look into her memories due to the risk of revealing her secret identity. So instead, he just takes a little blood from her.

"Thank goodness. I hope you can forgive me for everything. I was such a bad partner to you and I pushed away the true love of our hero life" Ladybug looks away, still in shame.

"Hmm....." He stopped and licked her blood on her suited neck, "Go on. I'm listening"

"After all these days, I've thought about everything you've done for me, aided me in battles, sacrificed for me, and ever since you left, I've thought about you ever since. I was wrong the whole time and I've been a fool to push away the Yang to the hero duo of Paris. And now, I'm repeating your offer to become the secondary guardian, well the guardian of the night" Ladybug said.

He purred in a little happiness but there was something that she hasn't acknowledged yet, "Keep going, bugaboo" He still held his fangs on her neck but not too deep to break a vein.

"Okay, you were right all along. I was ignorant, selfish, irresponsible, and small-minded. I lied to you, I never talked to you about anything, and I kept you in the dark for too long. Whenever you offered a helping paw, I never took it. I am a terrible guardian the whole time" Ladybug confessed.

"That's all I wanted to hear. And Ladybug, I'm also sorry for slapping you in Transylvania and for acting all cold and mean towards you. But I realized I can't stay mad at you forever. I forgive you Ladybug" Cat Noir said and moved his mouth off her neck and looked at her in the eyes, "But promise me you won't be so secretive again. Always come and talk to me when there's a problem. Don't ever keep secrets to yourself"

"Promise. I'm still feeling guilty for causing all this trouble. If it weren't for me, you'd still be human" Ladybug sadly said.

"Actually, my human life at home is terrible. I finally gained freedom as a vampire. Trust me, my father probably doesn't miss me much but I'm sure my friends do. I know I shouldn't reveal my former life but for you to understand" Cat Noir said, cleaning her suited neck with his tongue, making sure her two punctured marks stop bleeding.

"I understand" Ladybug got up, walking towards the door.

"Oh, and I need a coffin too. If you can find one for me, my bugabride" Cat Noir flirted.

"I'll try to find one kitty" Ladybug weakly smiled.

Cat Noir knew she was still not over her guilt but didn't say anything, "Merci, milady." He morphed into a bat to stay in the shadows and away from the sun's rays.

Ladybug swung up to the rooftops to run on to try to find a place where coffins are kept, "There's got to be some at the graveyard" She thought.

Finding a fresh one won't be easy but perhaps she'll find one that is about to be used for funerals. She can't disturb the resting spirits that are dead for centuries.

"Perhaps a black one will do" She soon arrived at where they made coffins. She took out the horse miraculous from her yo-yo and unify it as Pega-Bug so she can use teleportation to move the coffin to Cat Noir's place, "Kaalki, Tikki, unify!" She transformed into Pega-bug.

She lifts the coffin and says "Voyage!" as a portal opens up to Cat Noir's bedroom.

The bat morphed back to a person but stays in the shadows, away from the light, "Here you go kitty" Pega-bug placed it down.

"Merci." Cat Noir purred at the coffin, just what he needed, "Care to join me, milady?" He smirked.

"No thanks. You know I'll suffocate in there without air" Ladybug rolled her eyes but at least there's a bit of humor in her kitty.

"Well as long as the lid is open" He laid down into it and folds his arms behind his neck.

"The sun will burn you if the lid is open" Ladybug said and was about to close the lid when Cat Noir stopped her.

"One more thing, my kwami is a gluten and he might need Camembert cheese. But sometimes he likes macaroons. See you tonight, milady" Cat Noir closed the lid on himself.

"Glad to have you back, kitty" Ladybug ran out of the building.
