The next night, Adrien was practicing his vampire powers. He demonstrated hypnosis on Plagg, his bat, wolf, and cat transformation, superhuman strength and speed, self-healing, telekinesis, and other sorts.

"I know she's gonna find out I moved to Transylvania, Plagg." He stared at his non-reflection in the mirror and then walks on the wall and to the ceiling.

"Kid, I know what you're thinking but aren't you forgetting that Shadow Moth might steal all the miraculous, including hers? That monster could destroy the world" Plagg said, trying out a traditional Romanian cheese of Transylvania called Năsal.

"She can handle it with her other friends, she told me to stay away from her. I'm not gonna forgive her for what she did" Adrien said.

Plagg flew up to the ceiling, despite that he was upside down, "She didn't say stay away from you. She said to stay out of the way. There's a difference"

"And she told me to stop falling in love with her which I will. That's what she wants. Su-Han is probably not happy with her" Adrien chuckled and landed down on the floor, "And besides, I'm done being her partner for good. I'm sick and tired of her treating me like I'm a street cat" Adrien looks out the window.

"That's cold, Adrien. But okay. But you know she's gonna find you. The train station holds listings of passengers" Plagg said and swallowed his new cheese.

"Let her try. She's too late to bring me back" Adrien said, looking at the bat symbol Ruby that Dracula gave him to replace his cat bell.

"Have it your way" Plagg said.

"After my good sleep in the coffin, it's time to fly. Plagg claws out!" He transformed into Cat Noir and puts the bat ruby medallion on his chest where his cat bell used to be, "Time to explore" He smirked and morphed into a bat and flies out the window. He flew over the river near the castle and into the forest. Never before had Cat Noir felt so free.

But leaving his friends and family behind was a huge consequence. His father will be furious or get akumatized again that he's missing. He scoffed that his father neglected him. He has a very funny way of showing father love when his heart is so dark, that there's no room for love.

For now, Dracula was keeping him in his castle. At least he shows a little care but Cat Noir doesn't trust him enough.

Once close to the ground, he morphed into a wolf and ran through the woods. He thought of visiting the city would help clear his mind but he had to go through the forest as a wolf. An hour later, he arrived in the city and changed into a cat to not freak people as a wolf.

"Puuurrrrrfect" He walks around casually on the streets. The townspeople awed at him but has no idea he's a person. He hissed at them, telling them to back off.

He climbs up on some rooftops to have a view over the city, "It's beautiful" He said to himself. He then saw a teal-green portal down below and saw it was Pega-Bug coming out. He growled in anger that he was not happy to see her, not after that harsh argument broke his heart. He morphed back to a person but with a black cloak to stay hidden.

"Not a chance she deserves my forgiveness" He muttered to himself.

He jumped off the roof and landed in a pose, startling Pega-Bug. She screamed but he covered her mouth as he drags her into the alley, still angry at her.

"MMMMMPH!!!!" She muffled-screamed.

"Why the hell did you come here?!" He asked in anger and removed his hand off her mouth, demanding an answer.

"I've come to get you back to Paris, Cat Noir! I'm really sorry for what I said to you" Pega-bug said.

"It's too late for that. You've done more than enough. You wanted me to stay out of your way so I'm doing it!" Cat Noir said, anger in his eyes.

"Forget what I said! I was just stressed!" Pegs-Bug begged him.

"Forget?" Cat Noir laughed a little, "Do you have any idea what you put me through?! All those lies, all those secrets, and everything you caused, you never talked to me about anything!" He yelled at her but noticed that his anger triggered his eyes to glow red, "Far too late, Pega-Bug." He grabbed the Horse miraculous glasses, making her transform back to Ladybug, "And one more thing, it's your fault that I'm not human anymore!"

"What are you talking about?!" Ladybug was baffled.

"These" Cat Noir reveals his fangs.

This horrified her that there's no way he's a vampire for real, "You're a vampire now?!" Ladybug gasps.

"Yes. And I'm finally where I belong. Now, I want you to leave and tell everyone that Cat Noir is not coming home" Cat Noir said.

"You're faking it!" Ladybug did wanna believe it's true.

"Wanna bet!" Cat Noir hissed and morphed into a bat to chase after her.

Ladybug started to run away as he chased her, "Please have mercy!!!" She kept running.

The bat scoffed and saw her swing her yo-yo to the roof as he flew up and went passed her, morphing back to a person and Ladybug slowly backs away.

"Mercy, huh?" He smirked.

"Kitty, I know what I did was wrong and I should've accepted your offer but I didn't. Please, I want my old kitty back" Ladybug begged with tears in her eyes.

"It's far too late, Ladybug. You distant me too much! Ever since you became guardian, you changed. You became selfish and self-absorbed." Cat Noir said, hissing with his fangs showing, and turns around, staring at the full moon.

"But Cat Noir I..." Ladybug didn't finish her sentence when he interrupts her.

"I want you to leave and never return! You can use another hero as a replacement for me! And besides, Count Dracula is holding me under his wing now" Cat Noir said and tossed the horse miraculous back to her and she caught it.

"No! I'm not leaving you, Cat Noir! I don't care if you bite me or whatever, this isn't what you want! You belong in Paris! You're my partner!" Ladybug refused.

"Not anymore!" Cat Noir gave her a hard backhand slap.

Ladybug was sent flying on the pavement as Cat Noir gave her a creepy glare, "Don't ever come near me again!" He then said.

Ladybug gets up and lunges at him but he was too fast and he did his lady's trademark move by grabbing her arm and locking his legs between her neck and shoulder, falling down with her while gripping her arm.

"That's enough! Don't make me sink my fangs in your wrist and look into your memories! I'm not joking, Ladybug!" He positioned his fangs near her wrist without biting.

"Please no! Have mercy on me!" Ladybug begged.

"Very well" He morphed into a bat to get off of her and then morphed back again, "And no, the ring stays with me. My kwami chose to side with me"

"Kitty please!" Ladybug groaned while trying to stand up.

"If you ever come near me again, I'm not gonna hesitate to bite your neck! Farewell, ex-partner" Cat Noir said.

"How can you be so selfish and cold, kitty!" She groaned and leaned against the chimney wall for support.

"You made me into this person, it's your own fault!" Cat Noir replied before flying away as a bat.

"Oh, kitty." She fell to her knees and sobbed, "I didn't mean for any of this. Why didn't I give you a chance?"

Seeing there's no point in bringing back her kitty, she put on the horse miraculous and unified with it, creating a portal to head home.

Cat Noir was now at the farm, drinking the cow's blood since he's too angry but he calms down after satisfying his thirst, he felt a little sorry for Ladybug but he still won't forgive her nor go back to Paris. His father will not rest until he's found but he guessed he'll replace him with Felix just to save the fashion brand company.

Soon he let go of the cow and wipes the blood off his mouth, "Thanks" Cat Noir said and morphed into a cat to head back to the castle since it's dawn and the sun will be rising soon. He found the castle and flew through the window and morphed back, "Claws in" He detransformed back to Adrien, "Finally, I've gotten Ladybug away from me" Adrien said.

"Did you have to slap her?" Plagg asked.

"She deserved it" Adrien replied.

"Kid, I know you can't feel anything but if I were you, I would be worried about her. I know she hurt you, lied to you, pushed you away, but she's still your partner." Plagg said.

The vampire ex-model sighed but shook his head that his kwami is right but the problem is that he can't walk in daylight anymore, "I'm not human anymore, Plagg. Humans walk in daylight and I don't. Watch" He demonstrated by putting his hand near the rays of sunlight, letting it burn a little, "This is why I can't go back. I'm stuck like this" Adrien said and pulled his hand away and watched the burnt skin heal to normal skin, "Also, a vampire does not age so I'm gonna watch those around me grow old and die while I'm unchanged" Adrien said.

"That makes both of us immortal, bud. I lived for over 5,000 years but you have just begun" Plagg said.

"Yes, while Dracula's like 400 years old," Adrien said.

"More than 400 years old. Kid, I know this is your.....undead life....but when you're ready, please return to Paris. I have a feeling that one day, Paris is in danger" Plagg said, begging for an answer.

Adrien sighs and slowly nodded, "Very well, Plagg. When I feel like it" He said and goes to his coffin to sleep.

"You're still holding a grudge, are you?" Plagg said.

"Yes, I just need my nap" Adrien replied.

"And a very bad daymare," Plagg said.

"Funny" Adrien rolled his eyes and closed the lid on himself.

At the Agreste mansion, Gabriel is furious that his son is missing and his authorities couldn't find him. He had no choice but to send his authorities to London to forcefully bring his nephew to be his son's replacement due to how he looks a lot like Adrien but the opposite of him.

And now, he lies to the public that his 'son' is found and Felix did not like this but he hopes to someday find out what his uncle is hiding, during that Collector incident.

"Do I really need to do this again?" Felix complained while disguising himself.

"Yes. And I expect you to sound and act like him" Gabriel said.

"Got it" Felix replied.

"Also, before he disappeared, Adrien was depressed so you need to make up a good excuse" Gabriel added.

"Why was he depressed? Did he tell you why?" Felix asked.

"He didn't," Gabriel said.

"Hmph, pathetic" Felix scoffed.

"Let's just say he had a rough day" Gabriel then added.

Felix ignored him and went outside to Gorilla's car to head to school, "Something fishy is going on with Adrien" Felix said.

At school, Marinette was now the one being depressed after Cat Noir told her to never return to Transylvania.

Her best friend Alya noticed her sad mood, "What's the matter Marinette?"

"Alya, have I been too hard on Cat Noir?" Marinette asked sadly.

"Well.....to be honest, when I was Scarabella, he was upset that you never told him about your secret with me. Girl, he has been in love with Ladybug and yes he can get obnoxious when he offers you a rose but maybe about him is something more than his love declaration" Alya said.

"I made a huge mistake in pushing him away," Marinette said.

"Dude, you're back! Where have you been? All of us thought you disappeared" Nino hugged Felix.

"I needed some time to feel better, thanks for your concern" Felix pulled his Adrien act.

Marinette looked over and saw Felix, thinking it's Adrien, "A-Adrien?!...... How? What? Where have you kissed.....been? Where have you been?" Marinette stammered.

"Just been away for a short while. Just to clear my head. Did I make such a big fuss while I was gone?" Felix said.

"We thought something bad happened to you," Alya said.

"Don't worry, I'm safe for now. I'm sorry to hear Cat Noir left" Felix said.

"How did you know?" Marinette asked.

"I heard the news on TV. Whatever made him move away" Felix said, going to where Adrien used to seat.

"Maybe he wanted a fresh new start" Marinette hides the fact they argued.

"Probably sick of Ladybug rejecting his feelings," Felix said and that made Marinette feel guilty.
