Van Helsing 2004 and the Underworld movies have inspired me alot for years and I thought that maybe I wrote a story of Cat Noir as a vampire but this time with sunlight weakness. The last episode of season 4 really shocked me that Ladybug has really messed up everything and trusted the wrong Adrien. Cat Noir has forgiven Ladybug a few times but will he ever forgive her in Season 5? That's what I'm wondering.

I'm Adrien Agreste or I was a while ago. Let's say that I'm no longer a human anymore but a vampire with no pulse or heartbeat, just an undead kitty but deep down I still maintain a bit of human emotion. It's like being human is like you can't escape these types of emotional pain in life or how you feel alone without a soulmate. But when you're undead, you forget what it's like being mortal or feel anything without a pulse in your heart. It all started when I was Cat Noir, fighting akumatized victims with my lovely Ladybug, and being all flirty with her which she gets annoyed with but likes my humor. But this time, I felt neglected by her the same way my father does to me. I still remember that hurtful day when Ladybug would go out with other miraculous holders without me and whenever I try to catch up, they already saved the day. But that's not what really happened. It all started when she said those hurtful words to me that felt like a stake through my heart. Those were the words that lead me to that incident and I never saw her again when I left Paris to protect her from my.....undead self.

Adrien was watching the news of Ladybug and the miraculous team saving the day without Cat Noir for a week. Just like before the Kuro Neko incident but now, it felt like his lady lied to him again. Even if she's the guardian, it was not the same.

"I can't take this anymore, Plagg. Ever since she became the guardian, it changed her." Adrien turned off the TV and looks at his kwami eating his last piece of Camembert.

"She's just under a lot of pressure, kid. I know how Master Fu was but he was wiser." Plagg said and let out a belch.

"That incident with his memories erased really traumatized her. I could be her secondary guardian but she always shuts me out. I need to talk to her now. Plagg, claws out!" He transformed into Cat Noir in a green flash and jumped out the window to find her.

Like other times, his lady always gets stressed out and he finds no other way to help her when she doesn't let him. But this time he's determined. He found her at the Arc de Triomphe and decided to sneak up on her, "Bugaboo!!" He startled her and received a punch in the face, "OW! Sheesh, it's me!" He held his face.

"Oh sorry, Kitty. I didn't mean to do that" Ladybug apologized.

"Anyways, while you were saving the day without like 24/7, I have been thinking that you've been....well.....needing assistance with guardian duties" Cat Noir twirled his tail belt.

"What do you mean? I'm a good guardian and I know what I'm doing" Ladybug said.

"Well surely being a guardian could be stressful while being a superhero at the same time. So I propose that two guardians could work" Cat Noir said.

"I can't accept that, Cat Noir. Grandmaster Su-Han is not used to these new rules and he thinks you're.....reckless" Ladybug muttered at the last word.

"Su-Han doesn't know this modern world that much, milady. You know I hate being left in the dark again. Why can't you let me help just for once?" Cat Noir felt a little frustrated with her stubbornness.

"Because I'm the guardian and it's my duty to protect the miracle box." Ladybug's voice raised.

"You don't know what else can happen, milady. That's another problem, you don't take risks" Cat Noir growled.

"Of course I do! I take risks all the time!" Ladybug stomped.

"Oh yeah? Then how come you didn't let me help while you let the other holders help you?!" Cat Noir glared.

This left Ladybug speechless. Did she really neglect him again?

"Am I really that useless to you now?!" He asked in a serious tone.

"Maybe if you stop messing up in a battle, we could've been stronger! You always put yourself in danger because you don't use your head!" Ladybug yelled.

"Oh really?! How many times are you irresponsible with getting others akumatized?! Remember Anti-bug? Prime Queen? Glaciator? Santa Claws? Volpina? Sooner or later, you'll make enemies and they might learn your weakness and take advantage of you!" Cat Noir argued.

"That was a year ago, Cat!" Ladybug said

"Then why haven't you learned not to make the same mistake again?! We are not adults yet, milady. We are young and less experienced. We are still kids." Cat Noir said.

"Then why don't you do me a favor and stay out of my way?! Better yet, stop falling in love with me!" Ladybug yelled in his face.

Cat Noir gasped softly at what she said and she swung out of here that this conversation is over. He clenched his fists and growled lowly that he's done being her partner. He ripped off the golden bell, "If that's what you want, milady. Wish granted" He said and tossed the bell aside, no longer needing it in his life, "No more love in my life" He growled.

He extends his baton and pole-vaulted out of here and lands in the alley to de-transform, "Claws in"

Plagg flew out of his ring, "Whoa! Kid! Don't do this again!"

"I'm done being her pet, Plagg. No matter what I do, she always thinks she has it under control. I feel like my heart is frozen to death" Just as he was about to re-announce him, strange bats with glowing red eyes spot a mortal being with a pulse.

"Oh shit!" He ran away from them but they catch up to him.

"Kid! Look out!" Plagg shouted but the bats had already taken a bite of his owner.

"AAAAH!!!!" Adrien screamed as he felt them bite him, stumbling against the brick wall in the shadows. It was so painful it felt like his body is on fire. They but his neck and arms, sucking the blood like a leech. Adrien had to get them off but it would be much worse. He lost consciousness and faints.

"Adrien! ADRIEN!!!" Plagg screamed.

The bats stopped sucking his blood and they took off in the dark shadows of the alley. Plagg was worried and he flew in and smacked his owner's forehead to wake him up.

"Adrien wake up!" Plagg kept smacking.

Adrien's eyes went wide and he sat up, "Aaahhh!!! I'm still alive!" He looks over himself seeing bite marks and blood on his arms and neck.

"Kid, look at me! How many do you see?" Plagg got in his face to make sure his owner is not delusional.

"I see one" Adrien groans.

"We gotta get you back to the mansion. Transform, now" Plagg said.

"Claws out," Adrien said weakly and transformed back to Cat Noir.

On the way he struggled to leap across rooftops and once even almost fell until he caught the edge, "That was a close one" He climbs back up and made another long jump to his bedroom window.

He stumbled on the couch and called off his transformation, "Claws in" He transformed back to Adrien, groaning from the painful bite on his neck, "What were those bats?" He wondered.

"Spooky vampires" Plagg acting all spooky.

"Very funny, Plagg" Adrien rolls his eyes in annoyance.

"But seriously, are you okay? You looked drained" Plagg said.

"I need some rest. I've had a bad day already" Adrien said.

"Oh, no. Not the dark and gloomy mood again" Plagg said as he watches his owner walk straight to his bed.

After laying down, Adrien sighs that he's now all alone as Cat Noir.

The next day, at school, Adrien was feeling drained and depressed. Nothing can cheer him up. Not even a croissant from the cafeteria. The bite marks somehow disappeared like he was never bitten which surprised the model.

Marinette can see that her crush looks depressed and gloomy she tried to cheer him up but once again, she stutters and gets clumsy.

His best pal tried to cheer him up but nothing is making Adrien happy. It was like his soul has been removed from his body, feeling nothing but emptiness.

"Dude, you look like a zombie. Are you sure you're okay?" Nino looked concerned.

"I'm fine, Nino. I just didn't get enough sleep" Adrien said with a depressed voice.

"Whatever you say, Dude," Nino said.

"Anyways, I'm going home. I'll see you later, Nino" Adrien said and heads into Gorilla's car, "Take me home," He told his bodyguard.

He looks at himself again and noticed his skin was somehow paler. Like a mixture of light peach and light gray. He always gets enough sunlight but he doesn't understand why he's pale when he doesn't feel petrified.

He felt the car stop that he's home and he got out and heads inside the mansion. He felt hungry for food which he doesn't understand why but he guessed that his depression probably faded and his appetite came back. He went upstairs to his room and into the bathroom when suddenly, there was no reflection in the mirror and the sunlight burned his skin.

"OW!" He gasps in pain and then noticed his reflection was gone, "What the heck?!"

"Is this just our imagination or just an illusion?" Plagg can see his own reflection.

Adrien rubs his eyes to see again if he's crazy or not, "Oh my god!" He opened his mouth and felt a pair of fangs poking out.

"Wow, you got fangs. We look like buddies with fangs. So cool" Plagg said.

"No, not cool. Ow!" He felt his face burned by sunlight from his bathroom window. He moved into the shadow area to get away from the sunlight, "This is not good, Plagg! I'm a vampire!" Adrien freaked out.

"How can you be so sure? It's probably sunburn" Plagg said.

"Yeah but it hurts more than that!" Adrien said, rubbing the spot.

The sun was setting down slowly but its rays were shining through the window and Adrien can't find a way to avoid it, "Plagg, the curtains! Move them!" He felt his skin burning with gray smoke.

Plagg flew to the curtains and closed them quickly before they could burn him.

Adrien panted from the burns on his face and arms but they instantly heal fast while being in the shadows, "Thanks, Plagg. I can't believe those bats......Uhhhhhh" Adrien fell asleep on his bed, snoring softly.

"Sleep well," Plagg said and goes hiding.

"Adrien dinner is....." Nathalie walks in but saw the model already asleep at 4 pm, "......served"

Adrien did not hear and that he was deeply asleep while snoring softly.

"Hmmm...... Oh well," She shrugs and leaves the room.

As the sun sets, Adrien wakes up unexpectedly that it's night time and his stomach growled. He knew what that meant and he was not gonna feed on Nathalie or his father. He thought it would be best to try normal food to calm down.

"Morning Dracula" Plagg joked.

"This is not funny, Plagg." Adrien was not amused and just walks out of his bedroom and down the stairs to go eat the dinner that he missed at the dining table. A simple salad in a bowl with Italian dressing. He simply shrugged and prayed that normal food is safe to eat as an undead.

"Well, the usual it is," He said quietly and had his dinner. He ate slowly and when he swallowed it, his stomach didn't react but his hunger was not satisfied, "I don't want to bite anyone in this mansion but I might have no choice" Adrien thought.

Once finished, he goes back to his room and looks at the night sky, "If Ladybug does not need a partner, she can just pick another hero. But for now, Cat Noir works on his own. And if she so wants my help I'm not coming" He said while looking at his ring.

"If you're really a vampire, do you feel a pulse or heartbeat?" Plagg asked.

Adrien placed a finger on his neck to feel a pulse but found nothing, "No. It's like my body is dead but I'm really undead" Adrien was amazed.

"You really are a vampire then," Plagg said.

"Thanks for the compliment. I can't be here anymore. Who knows how dangerous I'll get if I attack people out of hunger" Adrien said, thinking that he should leave Paris and live in Transylvania.

"What about your friends and family?" Plagg asked.

"I have to go away for a while, Plagg. I don't wanna hurt them" Adrien said.

"So you're not gonna re-announce me, are you? I can't bear to have a new owner that is not you" Plagg said.

"No, you're my closest friend, Plagg," Adrien said, making the kwami sigh in relief.

"But I don't wanna force you with something that isn't....human me," Adrien said, going up to his closet to pack his clothes, black ones.

"Looks like we have to deal with the consequences of your disappearance," Plagg said.

"I have to make Paris believe that Cat Noir left and Adrien disappeared. Father will be furious but I hate this place. I can't believe I'm saying this but now this is my chance to be free." Adrien said and packs all the Camembert cheese for his kwami.

"Very well, Adrien," Plagg said.

"Okay, that's everything. I gotta stay away from reflected objects. I don't feel anything for Ladybug" Adrien said as he said the transformation words and transforms into Cat Noir. He carried his backpack on his back and jumps out the window, heading to Startrain.

Before he could, he needed to feed and he knows it's gonna get ugly. It was either feed or die. His hunger was getting worse and he needs blood or he'll grow weaker without it. He hopes he have hypnosis power so that his victim won't remember.

He went into the alley to find a victim that is either thugs, rapists, or whatever bad guys they do.

Soon enough he found a thief checking the jewelry he stole. He can hear the heartbeat from him like he has a sixth sense. His fangs went sharp it was the perfect moment to sink them into the victim's neck. But first, he has to make sure his victim doesn't remember a single thing nor remember the vampire discovery.

Without thinking, he sped in a flash and his eyes glowed green to hypnotize his victim. The man froze and stood there like a mindless slave.

"You won't remember my vampirism. Now hold still" Cat Noir smirked and sank his fangs in the man's neck, finally getting the taste of blood.

Suddenly, he sees visions of the victim's memories like theft, drugs, family life, childhood life, and today's theft. Of course, memories can be found in blood than just brains. He soon lets go of the unconscious thief and wipes his mouth.

His hunger faded that it's now satisfied, "Farewell, Paris" He said without any emotion and realized he no longer wears that ridiculous golden bell. He growled lowly and walks out of the alley.
