Outside

As the medics continued their work on James, Daphne was held back by the other fairies.

"He should have just left us....." said the second fairy.

"......No, that's just James's style. He never leaves anyone behind" said Daphne.

"What.....the leader had said, was it....?" asked the first fairy.

"Yes, James often got criticized and he also ended up on the wrong side of fairies. He was usually at the front of their disgust with him" said Daphne.

"I'm....not going to argue, I......did the same thing..." said the third fairy.

"All James ever wanted was to be a hero, he knew what I would become as it was traditional for princesses to become fairies and eventually guardians of their own worlds. It was true, I was there when James got beaten up.....yet I did nothing. I.....have failed him..." said Daphne.

Then suddenly out in the distance, a huge army was approaching the destroyed kingdom.

"Are they ours?" asked the second fairy.

Looking closer, it was....but something was wrong. When everyone saw their faces, it was pitch black and their eyes were completely white.

"What's wrong with them?" asked the first fairy.

"James mentioned something about those...creatures being able to regenerate, somehow they must have possessed those bodies. Or it could be something else" said Daphne.

"Those...monsters! They have desecrated the dead! This ends here!" yelled the third fairy.

As the fairies charged into battle, king Radius and queen Luna had their medics carry James off somewhere safe.

As that was going on, deep within James's sub consciousness. Certain events were being replayed over, memories soon came to the surface.

James's mind

Soon the scene showed James as a young boy playing with a young Daphne.

"Yes....I remember, things were so peaceful back then. I had a good time...Daphne had a good time...everyone had a good time, I wanted it to last forever" thought James.

The scene then showed lands and worlds being engulfed in destruction and the ancestral witches hovered above it.

"But then they showed up and the golden era officially ended. From that day onwards, the world was at war. Nothing and nobody was safe" thought James.

The scene then showed an older James seeing Daphne talking with other princesses.

"I had to admit, growing up was the hardest time of my life. The battle had just made it worse, I was expected to join in with the war efforts. I knew what I would become....but I also knew what my sister would become. My beautiful twin sister, I grew up with her.....but now she's out of my reach" thought James.

The scene then showed Daphne pulling James towards her friends.

"She tried to introduce me to them but things didn't go according to plan. Somehow, somewhere, the definition of guardian fairies being the superior beings became a thing" thought James.

It then showed James engaging in a conversation with the princesses.

"Uh.....hi there" said a younger James.

"Um....hi...." said a girl awkwardly.

"Glad to see Daphne has made great friends, please take care of her. She can get lost sometimes" said the younger James.

"Lost huh? Well how did she end up with a lost cause like you?" asked another girl.

That statement made James shocked with wide eyes.

"How dare a fosh like you.....have the nerve to stand in our presence" said another girl.

The girls wasted no time pummeling James to a pulp. Daphne was horrified and she tried to help James but she got shoved aside by her fellow fairies every time she tried.

"It was honestly one of the most shocking moments of my life, I had not expected such animosity from them and the worst part was.....I didn't know......I didn't understand why they were doing this" thought James.

The scene then showed James in battle and coming out victorious. However, the people were more focused on certain people.

"Over time however, I learned about this new 'rule'. I now understood why those girls....bullied me. I could use stronger words but I'm not going to. All the battles I fought, no one recognized me. Its just as I had heard, I'm considered expendable.....while fairies only came by once a year or even many years later. In addition, they grow stronger while I don't. I've learned that they have multiple transformations. In time, they were the local celebrities or even dare I say...goddesses" thought James.

The scene then showed James in his room.

"I can't say that I fully hate fairies, they are the world's guardians after all and without them the world would fall and that is the reality here. However, I will not deny that over the years...after my experience with them and all the glory they obtained....it had caused me to despise them. There was great anger in my heart, I was even on the verge of hating my own sister even though she didn't do anything to me. I was fortunate that my....unique personality had caused me to differentiate between right and wrong. Besides, how could I hate Daphne? She tried to help me, there was no way I could ever hate someone like that" thought James.

The scene then showed the current James as he had earlier met the enchantix fairies.

"When I saw them, I truly admired them. I wanted to be like them, I wanted the people to see me for who I really was. Sometimes, I honestly wish I was born as a girl instead. It was painful, knowing that the dream of not being lonely anymore would never come true. Can I say that my hate for girls is righteous? The answer........is yes. With the way they treated me, I highly doubt anyone would blame me. But this is what separates the men from the man. It takes courage not to fight back....and I'm glad I did that. But now........what use is there for me? What purpose is there for a fosh like me to continue existing? I would rather....just die" thought James.

Outside

The medics were doing all they could to try and bring James back to life. They were even trying to stabilize him. However, they were alarmed they saw James's life signs starting to fall. It wouldn't be long until he was dead.

"Sir, we're losing him!" said a medic.

"We can't! Keep trying!" ordered Radius.

The medics soon pulled out the defibrillator and they immediately charged it up.

After shouting the word clear, they shocked James to try and bring him around.

"Pulse?" asked a medic.

"Its there but its still dropping" said the other medic.

"Come on boy, don't die on us now" said the medic.

They were soon shocking James multiple times but his heart rate was soon near the dead zone.

The guardian fairies were soon near the medics.

"Its no use, there's just too many of them. We have to evacuate now!" yelled Daphne.

The undead horde soon overwhelmed everyone and it was too late. In addition, it wasn't just the troops that the girls were leading into battle that had turned into zombies, the dead Solarian warriors were also turned into zombies. The horde soon set their sights on the fairies.

"They must still harbor the hate James had bottled up over the years" thought Daphne.

Then once again the fairies were grabbed and beaten. Daphne could weakly see James's life signs dropping and her heart dropped.

"JAMES!!" yelled Daphne.

James's mind

"Just let me die here, at least I know.....the world is protected.....but not by me" thought James.

".......J.....M....S!!" yelled a voice.

"Funny, I'm starting to hear things" thought James.

"JAMES, PLEASE DON'T GO!! I NEED YOU HELP, ALL OF US NEED YOU HELP!!" yelled the voice.

"That voice, Daphne? Nah, she doesn't need my help. She has her fairy friends by her side, they can handle anything" thought James whimsically.

"AHH!!" yelled Daphne.

"Daphne? DAPHNE?!!" yelled James.

Then a viewing hole opened up and James could see everyone was in danger.

"......ARGGG!!!! Sometimes I hate myself for doing this! I...................alright...fine, I've got my issues with girls.....but I don't want those people to die. Especially my family!!" yelled James.

Outside

Suddenly a very bright light shone and all of the undead warriors immediately vaporized while everyone else was having their wounds healed. Even the light at the castle was restored, it was glowing brighter like never before.

"There had better be a great big reward once this is all over with and I'm due to collect at the end of all this" said James.

Everyone looked to the source of the light and it was none other than James. The medics were shocked, wasn't he on the verge of death just seconds ago?

"You had enough of darkness........then look to the stars for hope burns bright" said James.

He was soon in front of everyone, staring at the legion in front of him.

"If these girls are the future, then I'll be their tool. A tool that builds the bridge to that future!" yelled James.

(0.14 is when the battle starts, 2.15 is when James sees the source and begins making a beeline for it and 3.05 is James finishing the job. You may want to turn it up if you feel like it, it gets better and use headphones or earphones)

James immediately zoomed towards the horde and he was soundly trashing them.

"Look guys, I know you're angry at the fairies but you have to accept it and move on" said James.

As James said that, he continued beating back the endless horde of zombies and he was winning for real this time.

"I follow the path that I believe is right, sometimes it does lead to suicidal events. But if it means seeing another day for another tomorrow then it's all worth it" said James.

After defeating approximately 2.5 million zombies, James saw the source of all this trouble. It was a creature that looked like a puppeteer.

"I see you and you're as good as dead once I get there!" said James.

The fairies and everyone else minus Daphne were astounded by the display in front of them. They were seriously reevaluating the individual that was fighting the miniature war in front of them all on his own and coming out on top.

It had also got the fairies thinking, what would it have been if James had accompanied them from the start? Would the results have changed? Would things have turned out
differently?

Immediately James was rushing towards the creature and it was actually afraid of him. The creature immediately made the zombies protect it but against someone of James's caliber...that wasn't going to work.

"This time, I'll put my faith and trust in the guardian fairies. Different from them, I am....but alike we are. With that, I too shall evolve and become a better person than I was a few hours ago" said James.

James was defeating the army using just his hands and legs. Absolutely no magic was used and everyone was amazed. In time, all 5 million zombies were taken out and the creature had no defense left.

"Buddy, you've bitten off more than you can chew. For desecrating the dead.....you have no honor" said James.

James then jumped at the creature while making both his red and silver swords appear. At that moment, James unleashed a series of expert slashes and swipes. With one final swipe, James landed behind the creature. The creature exploded violently and the tremors shook the planet.

Once everything had settled down, the king and queen, the medics and the fairies all saw James standing strong in the distance. Then then saw James turning to face them.

"What's the word? Ah yes......Finito" said James.

Castle

The citizens were all found in the dungeon, weak and starving. Fortunately thanks to a combined spell of fairy dust and James's magic, they were all restored to full health. Their appetite however was something they had to take care themselves. In addition, James helped to bring the sun back to life and it was as radiant as ever and so a celebration was held.

James and the fairies were up in a private balcony that was separated from the guests below. Everyone up there sweat dropped when they saw how much king Radius was eating.

"Goodness, this man sure can eat" thought James.

"Excuse me James but the people are waiting for us" said the first fairy.

"Us?" asked James.

"The people want to express their gratitude and I think its fitting that this time.......you should be there with us" said the second fairy.

"Thanks....but I will turn down the offer" said James.

"What? But why?" asked the third fairy.

"Don't involve me there, it wouldn't change anything. Besides, there is only so much that even you girls can do for me. There will always be people who say mean words or beat you up just because you're different....and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. But I know....deep down that there are many more people somewhere out there who do not judge others based on how they look, who they are or where they are from. Those are the people whose words truly matter" said James.

Smiling and nodding, the girls left James alone with the king while they went down to address the citizens.

"Well spoken words James, you will make a fine king someday" said Radius.

"You're not the first to tell me that.....and you know what? I'm starting to believe it" said James.

James and the king soon shared a laugh. At that moment, a servant arrived.

"Your majesty, she's here" said the servant.

Immediately, Radius was rushing towards the doctor's room. James followed as his curiosity was peaked. Upon entering the room, James saw the king with his back turned. Once the king turned around, James could see a little baby sleeping peacefully in his arms. He could also see the happy faces on the king and queen.

"Wow, congratulations your majesties. Have you decided on a name?" asked James.

"We've settled on Stella, she's a girl" said Luna.

"...........Of course she is, well she is cute" said James as he looked at Stella.

Soon Stella woke up and she saw her father and mother's faces. She then saw James's face and she soon giggled. She then raised her arms towards James as if she was asking James to carry her.

"I think she likes you" said Luna.

"You sure?" asked James as the king handed his daughter over to him.

James then brought Stella to his face and the baby girl started laughing.

"Hey there, so cute. Who's cute? You!" said James.

Stella just continued laughing and both the king and queen smiled. James then brought Stella closer to him.

"Listen well little one, you're going to grow up to be a great princess and eventually a great queen. Along the way, you'll also be a fairy. A beautiful and powerful fairy whom others will look up to. Never be cruel, never be cowardly, always be courteous and respectful. Do those things and you'll be not a great fairy, not a great ruler......but a great person. Can you do that for me?" asked James.

The baby Stella responded by sticking her tongue out.

"I'll just accept that as a yes" said James as he handed Stella back to her parents.

As James left the happy family alone, he gazed at the party below him. He could see the fairies addressing the citizens and once again people saw them as goddesses.

But you know what? James didn't mind, he simply gazed on and smiled at the clear night sky.
