In the city of Magix, Bloom had brought the others to the same place where they had dinner back when she first arrived here. Of course this time they were having lunch instead of dinner.

"This place never disappoints!" said Bloom as she continued chowing down.

"I thought we were going to discuss strategies? So far we have nothing" said Tecna.

"Aw come on Tec, a break can't hurt anyone" said Stella.

"I'm not saying a break can't hurt anybody but just lazing around can" said Tecna.

"Now you just sound like Griselda" said Stella.

"Hey hey! Everybody calm down! We're supposed to be a team, sometimes we fight but things like this should never get out of hand. Right James?" asked Bloom.

James was just staring at his food, ok........more like snoozing. Snores could be heard from him.

"J......James, are you alright?" asked Bloom as she gently nudged him.

Rousing from his sleep, James opened his eyes to see his lovely little sister looking at him with blue eyes that were filled with concern.

"......Now that's a sight I can wake up to....." said James.

"Hm?" asked Bloom as she tilted her head.

"....Doing that just makes you a whole lot more cuter" said James with a blush.

Bloom didn't know what James had meant but she did smile when she heard him call her cute.

"Sorry, I just didn't get much sleep last night. I had this dream.....maybe flashbacks of my.......anyways I'll be fine. I promise" said James.

Suddenly people started screaming, looking behind them the winx could see a bank robbery taking place. Then a police cop came running towards them.

"Quick, its not safe here! You need to run..........wait, are the six of you fairies? Please, we need all the help we can get! Your assistance would be greatly appreciated" said the policeman.

"Of course, come on girls!" said Bloom as she got up.

As the six of them went into action, James just stared at them as the girls supported the policemen from above. That police officer didn't recognize him but this was a emergency so......he could just let it slide a little bit.

".....Guess somebody's gonna have to take care of that lunch bill, whatever. I'm already used to being treated this way, I've literally had years of practice due to being around those girls all the time" said James.

This naturally made James think back to his past and he could still remember it as if it were yesterday.

Earth's past

The sounds of shouting and screaming made James get up from his bed. He wasn't the only one, Ogron and the others were woken up as well.

They all immediately opened the windows to see smoke coming from the village and where there's smoke...it usually indicates fire.

"What's going on?" asked Gantlos.

"I don't know but the four of you stay here, I'm going out" said James as he threw on a shirt.

"That's fine, the villagers hate us anyways" said Duman.

Snickering at that, James quickly opened the door and headed towards the village. Upon arriving, James could see the village elder trying to evacuate everyone. He was doing his best to make things as calm as possible,

"That's it, keep on moving. Steady now, we don't want any more problems" said the elder.

"What is going on?" asked James.

"Ah its you my young traveler, we have a major problem right now. The sacred items have been ingested" said the elder.

"What sacred items?" asked James.

Quickly pulling the elder away from a flying flaming wooden plank, James escorted the elder to safety where he soon met up with the other villagers.

"The Earth fairies should be on their way, they've no doubt sensed the dread in the air" said the elder.

"Maybe I can help, please tell me about these sacred items. What are they?" asked James.

"You? Highly unlikely but if you want to help, I'm not going to stop you. We have two sacred items representing the land and the sea. They were gifted to us by our ancestors after that worldwide war for safekeeping, both of them are extraordinarily powerful but no one can control it. Two thieves came in and stole the relics. They were fools for thinking that they could control that kind of power, now they've been taken over by the relics and have become mindless monsters" said the elder.

Just as the elder finished his explanation, multiple fairies came flying in from overhead and straight towards the fire. Using their magic, they were able to contain the massive fire but what was seen next really disturbed them.

They could see two 15 feet tall creatures and they were individually composed of both Earth and water.

"That is not normal" said a fairy.

"We better have a word with queen Morgana about this" agreed another fairy.

The two creatures were soon making their way towards the fairies and they also roared at them. The girls immediately opened fire at them, there was damage as the Earth creature had stumbled back a little but everything else just went right through the water creature.

Roaring in anger, the Earth creature stomped its massive foot onto the ground and almost immediately...massive pillars of fiery rock erupted all over the place. (2.41, this is pretty much how the entire fight went XD)

Most of the fairies were able to dodge it but some were unlucky enough to get hit by the attack and were thus out of the fight immediately.

Following this the water appeared from behind them and fired equally massive destructive water beams. Although they avoided it, a nuclear sized explosion was soon seen at where the attack had made impact. (2.55)

Together the Earth fairies all aimed their weapons and flew straight at the water creature. Focusing their magic at the top of their weapons, they all struck the ground near the water monster with everything they had and there was area damage that got done to the creature all right.

Unfortunately the water creature immediately retaliated by swiping all of the Earth fairies away and all of them were soon sent crashing back down onto the ground. (3.02 to 3.20)

Well there was still one Earth fairy left but she wasn't going to give up just yet. Seeing a burning house nearby, she could see two little kids running away from the monsters.

The Earth creature immediately tried to grab them but its hand was soon struck by the weapon of the Earth fairy. She was successful in saving the little children but she was taken from behind by a surprise attack and it looked fatal. (3.20 to 3.38, especially 3.30)

That one attack completely knocked out the poor fairy and she fell to the ground with a thud. The moment that happened, the villagers all gasped and were now whispering among themselves.

"The fairies have fallen" said a villager.

"What are we going to do now?" asked another villager.

"What we can do, run!" shouted another villager.

And that's what they did, everybody ran except for one. Looking back at the two creatures, James could see them roaring for their triumphant victory.

"Last line of defense" thought James.

He started walking, then he sprinted, it wasn't long until he was soon running towards the two creatures. Inhaling deeply, he let out a unique roar that got the attention of the two monsters. (4.43)

They immediately opened fire at him but he was able to dodge everything they had thrown at him. Now conjuring up several fiery meteors, he controlled them to hit both monsters and they were thrown back.

Growling in anger, the Earth monster fired several lava stones at James and they were a direct hit. It made him stumble back as he was hitting several rocks behind that were him.

Taking this chance, the water monster unleashed its water beams at James but James quickly recovered and evaded all of them in time.

Now getting a little mad, James reared his hands back and fired an attack that was taught to him by Saladin. Only this one was about a hundred times stronger and the water monster crashed just in front of the Earth monster.

The villagers had heard the fighting and they turned to observe it. They were surprised that an attack could harm a creature that was completely made up of water.

Now eying James carefully, the Earth creature made several more fiery rock pillars erupt from the ground and they all struck James with a loud explosion. But James actually came out of it undamaged and he was now running towards the creatures with a really red aura.

Once again roaring at the creatures with that strange roar, James struck the creatures head on and an even bigger explosion took place. The two creatures roared in pain before suddenly reverting back to human and then got caught in the explosion.

When the fierce winds had died down, everyone could see James still standing which meant that he had won. (4.42 to 6.10, that's pretty much how his fight had went. Also pretend the green aura is red)

The fairies had woke up in time to see that final attack and they were in awe of the power that they have witnessed.

"What....power" said a fairy who was shaking.

"It would have taken every major fairy to handle this sort of thing...........just what on Earth did we witness?" asked another fairy.

A few hours later, everyone was helping to rebuild the destroyed buildings and naturally James and the fairies were assisting the villagers in whatever way they could.

Later that night, James got into a meeting with the Earth fairies.

"I knew there was something off about you but I was not expecting that" said a fairy.

"We knew you came from somewhere else but tell me, is everyone else like you back in your world?" asked another fairy.

"No its just me, anyways I found these underneath the rubble" said James as he made two objects appear in see through containers.

"Those are the relics! Good thing you have them contained, you saw what it did to us" said a fairy.

"I know and I regret destroying the thieves that went after these but if I didn't...." said James.

"We know, what's done is done. Anyways we have something to request of you, could you come with us to Tir Nan Og for a while? The queen has requested your presence after we've informed her about what you've done" said another fairy.

"I'm not in trouble am I?" asked James.

"We......don't actually know but she did look serious" said the fairy that was next to him.

"Well could you give me a ride there? Can't fly" said James as he feebly flapped his arms.

The fairies all giggled at this but then one of them pointed at his hand.

"Did you already forget about the mark that Daisy gave you? You can come on over to our island anytime and it can also teleport us all there" said the fairy in front of him.

"Oh yeah, I actually forgot about that" said James as the mark appeared on his hand.

Once the mark began glowing, everyone near James got teleported to Tir nan Og island and he was impressed.

"This is really the golden ticket" said James as he looked at his hand.

A few minutes later, he was told to wait in a room while the others went to go and speak with the queen. Right beside Morgana were the four major fairies, they had been called here to discuss the recent events.

"This event was something that would have required all four of us major fairies to deal with and that speaks volumes of how dangerous this event was" said Nebula.

"I agree with Nebula on this one, yet our newcomer did it all on his own" said Diana.

"Then perhaps its the prophecy coming true" said Morgana.

"You don't mean that legend about a being coming down from the stars do you?" asked Aurora.

"The protector legend?" asked Sibylla.

"The very one" said Morgana.

"My queen if I may, we've all heard the story but we still don't really get the figure that was mentioned. Won't you please tell us? Just what is the protector actually?" asked Nebula.

"........The protector is supposed to be this being from another world, sent to both aid and defend our world. The only difference is that his or her power far surpasses that of even major fairies, Earth's chosen supreme guardians which was astonishing. I recall mentioning to our friend that perhaps he was here because he was meant to be here.......maybe there is some truth to that after all" said Morgana.

"Ok hold up, let's say J.......James I believe was his name....let's say he is the one. What would happen from here on out?" asked Aurora.

"Well........I don't really know myself Aurora but he does appear keen on helping us, maybe even wanting to get to know us better. You all felt it, just how sad he really was on the inside. Maybe he's trying to do something about it and if we are the answer.....than maybe its time we did something about it for him. What do you say?" asked Morgana.

"I have no qualms with it" said Sibylla.

"Well if he's that keen on helping, then I wouldn't mind his company. But no fire and ice battle!" said Aurora.

"If he is going to be my protector then its only fair for me to do the same" said Diana.

"Well I am the fairy of peace so........whatever that fits his bill. If he's alright with it" said Nebula.

"Then its settled, now....I must go and have a talk with our new friend James. A personal one" said Morgana as she got up from her throne.
