"My life has taken one hell of a turn, sometimes I'm not even sure where I'll end up anymore" thought James.

As James pierced a monster with his silver sword, he looked overhead to see the fairies flying in.

"One day I was what you would call a part time enemy of the fairies, next day we cooperated and the next day we're suddenly a team" thought James.

James then saw the fairies bombarding an army of monsters with a well timed airstrike attack.

"Where others fly out, they fly in. Where others run, I charge in. Its amazing really of how much can be accomplished when two opposite sides come together" thought James.

As James jumped into the fray, he saw the monsters taking some of the villages as prisoners or even as a future food source.

"As bright as day, as black as night.....there is no such thing as a time when or where the monsters won't strike" thought James.

He soon spun his swords and they became a spinning deathtrap for the monsters and they found that out the painful way. Once that was done, James personally broke the chains that were holding the villages captive. He then told them to follow the fairies that were floating in the air, they would show them the way out.

Once that was done, James headed in closer and closer towards the monster's nest. Once there, he immediately set the whole thing on fire. To finish things off, James eradicated all of the remaining monsters in the vicinity.

Soon James headed back to meet up with the fairies, once there he was told that everyone had made it out safely.

"Well at least the villages are safe, unfortunately we couldn't save the town" said James.

"It will not be easy but it can be rebuilt, it would be faster if we were to lend them a helping hand wouldn't you agree?" asked a fairy.

"Yes I agree...and it seems we have much to do....dear sister" said James as he smiled at her.

Suddenly two other fairies flew towards James.

"James, we have a problem" said a fairy.

"What's wrong?" asked James.

"We were wrong, apparently not all of the villagers were evacuated. We also encountered a mysterious being and we engaged him" said the other fairy.

"Him?" asked James.

"It was a wizard but this one......he was different. He was powerful, unlike any we have ever encountered before. Almost like you actually, we barely escaped....but one of us is wounded" said the first fairy.

"Really?! Take me to her" said James.

James was soon led to the campsite where he and the guardian fairies had set up as their main operations base. Upon entering the tent, he could see the fairy still in her enchantix form. He soon knelt down as the fairy was gently stroking her leg.

"Where does it hurt most?" asked James.

The fairy soon pointed at her ankle and James soon set to work. He gently lifted up the fairy's foot and he was surprised to see burn marks. He was expecting a bruise or something, a burn was unexpected. With James's medical expertise, the fairy was soon healed and she felt great.

As the days of war went by, James's standing with the guardian fairies had gotten to the point where they were like family to one another. James had gained their trust and friendship due to his abilities, his incredible ability to forgive and his skills. His actions and kindness had gotten through to them. They truly loved one another. In fact, there was this one time where James got attacked from behind. Even though he wasn't hurt, it was already enough to send the fairies into a rage against the enemy that did it.

"Thanks James" said the fairy as she embraced him.

"You would have done the same for me, in fact....you already have" said James as he embraced her back.

Slowly but surely, James himself was becoming well known. He was originally known as the first warrior to ever get approved by guardian fairies. Then in time, he soon became famous for putting together a team. A team that united all of the guardian fairies together and they all fought side by side against the forces of darkness. They had won many significant battles together and they hoped that it would bring them one step closer to ending the war for good so that they could return back to their normal lives.

"I have two questions right now, where is Daphne....and who did this to you?" asked James.

"Daphne is currently with the escort team, the team that's guiding the villagers into the emergency shuttles as this world is not safe for them at the moment. As for who did this, I really can't say. All I can tell you is that he was powerful like you but different....we saw him chasing after a village couple and so we tried to stop him" said the fairy.

"And what became of the couple?" asked James.

"As we engaged this mysterious man, we saw the couple heading into the ancient temple. Then as you saw, we got pretty beat up but I was the one that ended up with the worst injury and we barely escaped. I feel bad, I'm really worried about the couple" said the fairy.

"I feel bad too, I'm sorry James. We couldn't deal with this mysterious person" said the other fairy.

Soon James had the three fairies in a great big hug.

"You all did what you could, no one will blame you for running away. Right now, I'm just glad you all are still here" said James.

As the fairies hugged him back, the entrance to the tent soon opened up. It was one of the six fairies that James had made the leaders of the group besides him. Princess Deniz.

(For those that don't know Deniz, go to the unearthly story and go to chapter 49)

"James, we've got trouble" said Deniz.

"What is it?" asked James.

"This mysterious enemy, he's been spotted again at the ancient temple. We have reason to believe that he may still be chasing after the couple. I've already prepared a strike team to deal with him" said Deniz.

"Then I'll come along, from what I saw....burn marks usually indicate fire. And where there's fire, I come in" said James.

"Right, I knew you would. I'll let the others know, I think they'll be pretty happy about it" said Deniz with a smirk.

Soon after, James got ready and stood before the team he was leading.

"Alright, if we're ready then let us head out" said James.

Nodding, the fairies soon took to the air while James began the hike towards the mountains.

As they moved closer and closer to the mountains, they could see the temple resting at the top of the mountain.

"That's going to be one long climb...and jump if I were to attempt it" said James.

"Don't worry James, we've got you covered" said Deniz as she giggled.

James soon felt hands on his arms and he turned to see two fairies smiling at him.

"Thanks girls....you really make everything a whole lot easier for me" said James.

"As you've said, you would have done the same for us" said one of fairies holding him.

It wasn't long until he got lifted up the mountain and the rest of the fairies soon followed. But trouble soon arrived, huge boulders were falling towards them.

"Evasive maneuvers now!" shouted James.

Soon everybody did that but the fairies had to blast some of the boulders into pieces in order to advance as they flew higher. The two fairies that were holding James couldn't fire any spells as they were holding onto him. That problem would soon be solved.

"Move your hands to my upper arm areas, I'll handle the boulders" said James.

Once the fairies did that, James aimed his hands at the boulders and he soon pointed at them with his fingers in the position of a gun.

He immediately opened fire at the boulders and the fairies were grateful for that. Now that they had someone focusing on the boulders, all they had to do was to make sure that James made it to the top safely.

"Almost there" said James as he kept firing left and right.

After flying for another 3 minutes or so, everybody had made it to the top at last. Once there, everybody could see the huge temple and it was ancient.

"Thanks for flying with air enchantix" said a fairy as she let go of James.

"Not gonna lie though, I really liked the feeling of your gloved hands on my arms. It will definitely make a pretty good massage for me later on" said James.

After getting playful slaps on the back, the group soon headed into the temple.

Upon entering the place, they marveled at the architecture of the place. Who knew how this place got put together? They will never know and it may be better that way.

As they ventured forth, a pair of eyes was watching them from the shadows.

"Does anybody else feel weird?" asked a fairy.

"You mean like something is watching us?" asked another fairy.

"Yes.....I feel it too. Right...here...........whoever you are come out right now. If you're the couple that got chased here, we're here to rescue you" said James.

Suddenly a figure jumped out from where James was staring at, it soon became clear that this was not the person that James and the fairies came to find.

"Impressive. Then again, the guardian fairies are the main protectors of the world. It is to be expected" said the person.

"Who are you and what do you want?" asked James.

"Who I am doesn't matter to you boy, no.....I matter to the ones behind you" said the person.

James turned around and realized that the person was talking about the fairies.

"And now I shall ask you all a question, where is the fairy that's responsible for our recent defeats?" asked the person.

".........Excuse me?" asked James.

"You heard me, bring me the fairy that destroyed the nests, slayed an army of thousands in a single night and wiped out nearly all of our resources. If you do, I may yet spare all of your lives" said the person.

The fairies behind James were clearly confused by this, was this person talking about James himself? Did he not know that it was James who was responsible for all those things?

"Girls, get outside. Put up a barrier and don't let him escape. I'll take this person on" whispered James.

"James.....he really thinks we did it, a fairy" whispered Deniz.

"Then lets keep it that way" whispered James.

Soon all of the fairies had made their way outside while James was left alone with the individual.

"So then it's true, one of the fairies was responsible! And you've sent them out, that only proves it" said the person.

"Since we're talking, how about you help answer this? You're the one that dropped the boulders on top of us earlier right?" asked James.

"Well done, you knew?" asked the person.

"No, but from the way you're behaving it seemed likely" said James.

"I did not come here to play games, now out of my way!" shouted the person.

He moved in to strike James but to his shock, James caught his flaming fist and threw him back.

"I'm not here to play games either, tell me what you did to the village couple you were chasing?!" yelled James.

"Them? They're probably hiding somewhere, they escaped from me" said the person.

"What is it that you're after?! You had better start talking" said James.

"Fine, consider this as a job well done for stopping my attack. You see, I'm a part of something much bigger. Where I come from and who I work for.....lets just say you have a countdown on your hands. Of course......for this plan to work, special individuals are required. But that's as far as I'll tell you" said the person.

Soon the person left and James immediately contacted the girls using a mental connection.

"Girls! He's escaping, intensify the barrier" said James.

Outside, the fairies had already set up a strong barrier so nothing could come in or out. As James had said, the girls could see a individual flying towards the barrier and he soon collided with it.

The fairies were straining to keep the barrier up as they could feel it buckling against the force that was colliding with it. The individual soon made a final push and the barrier instantly broke apart. By that time, James had made it outside and he immediately helped the fairies back to their feet.

"I have come here for one reason and one reason only! I will not ask a third time, bring me the fairy responsible for our recent defeats!!" yelled the person.

Soon he magically made a huge army appear. The fairies were clearly overwhelmed by the numbers that were present. The individual soon made them charge towards the direction of the emergency shuttles that were getting the people evacuated.

"If that's what you want my mysterious friend, you don't have to look no further than what's already in front of you" said James.

Looking around him, James could see the fairies smiling at him and some were whispering at him to give this mysterious person a show.

With inspiration from his friends, James soon leapt into the fray. The mysterious person was clearly shocked by this action.

James soon stared at the army and they stared back at him.

"Five lessons, four things that you need to be aware of. Lesson one, things are not as you think they are" said James.

He was suddenly in the middle of the huge army and he soon made a huge impact. As the ground shook, the individual had wide eyes.

As the smoke cleared, one monster tried to attack James from behind but it was met with a fist that was swung up and it collided with its face.

"Lesson two, keep your eyes on the opponent. Keep up your concentration until the very end" said James.

As the individual watched James making short work of the monsters, he began wondering what this all meant.

"Lesson three, I was afraid once. I did something that was unforgivable in my book......but it turns out that fear is my greatest enemy. I had to conquer the fear that lived in my heart" said James.

Soon the army was reduced to more than half of soldiers and the individual was really surprised.

"Lesson 4, I was defeated by myself because of what I was turning into. But then I realized, it is what I learned from my defeat that is truly important. Look around me, I'm not an outsider anymore. I've found my place, learning from my past to change the future" said James.

With that said, the entire army was soon defeated.

"The final lesson, if people had not accepted me for who I was......I wouldn't be here today. Always treasure these moments, it was the turning point of my life and I will defend those all around me" said James.

Looking up, James could see the individual flying away. It wasn't long until the fairies came flying down to join up with him.

"We'll be here for a while, we still have that couple to find" said James.

Somewhere else

The individual soon made a magically orb appear in his hands and the ancestral witches could be seen.

"Valtor, have you dealt with the planet we've sent you to?" asked Belladona.

"Yes, mothers. It is broken" said Valtor.

"And yet we can sense something.....more to your victory" said Tharma.

"In the course of my duties I have encountered an individual, this individual has proven himself formidable. He may be the one we've been looking for all along" said Valtor.

"He? Are you certain?" asked Lysslis.

"Yes.......it was a boy, not a fairy" said Valtor.

"Then this is truly astounding, for thousands of generations it is the fairies who were the symbols of justice and power. Now a newcomer has arrived and its a boy......not a girl" said Belladona.

"So what must I do?" asked Valtor.

"For now, maintain your pursuit of the village couple. Keep us updated on this boy, if he truly is the one responsible for our losses.....we will need to widen our perspectives. This will rewrite everything we know about the magic dimension and the magical princess system" said Belladona.

"As you wish....my mothers" said Valtor.
