There was a soft knock on the door as Marco opened the room of his door slowly. Well, although Star was sound asleep, he knocked the door just in case. You never know what you will see.

"Star..... Hey Star.... Wake up time for dinner....." Marco whispered, shaking her in an attempt to wake her up.

She didn't budge and her eyelids remained shut.

Marco wondered why she was suddenly so tired, was it because of his kick? It didn't make sense though.

"Star..." He leant in closer, half shouting now.

She stirred and slowly she opened her eyes, squinting them under the bright light.

"Marco... I'm tired... I want to sleep,"

"But Star it's now time for dinner come up my mum cooked good food today!" He persuaded.

"And you just slept!"

"Marco Marco Marco," she repeated.

"Can you please bring food up here? I'm too tired I need food..." She mumbled before her head plopped on his arms.

Marco leapt out of the bed in surprise. He shook his head, sighed, before going downstairs and bringing Star her dinner into the room.

"The things I do for her..." He mumbled.

"Star wake up I'm here here's the dinner!"

"Star!"

"Huh?" Star replied groggily. She really was tired wasn't she?

She let out a huge yawn, making Marco yawn as well. He shook his head before going up to Star and started shaking her.

Star slowly got up, her hair in a mess.

"Feed me." She said.

"Whatttt can't you feed yourself?" Marco replied but Star didn't reply back but stared at the ceiling.

At this rate, he didn't have to guess that she was falling asleep.

What's with her?

Sighing in annoyance, he took a scoop of mashed potatoes and placed it at her mouth, motioning her to open her mouth.

She opened her mouth and with both of her hands she cupped Marco's hand with the spoon.

For once Marco felt a tingling sensation at his fingertips. He let go of the spoon instantly, letting Star handle the spoon herself.

He took a deep breath.

Stop, Marco. This isn't the time.

Star didn't seem to notice anything.

"More." She said again, this time sounding a bit more energetic.

Looks like it was working. Marco continued feeding her, this time conscious of any physical contact.

A while later, Star seemed to return to her original self.

"Thanks Marco... Well uhh you must be wondering why am I so tired. Uhh well so well in Mewni we don't get injured but instead we well we get really sleepy. So yeah that's why. I'm sorry Marco for sleeping in your bed and all." ( I had to make up random stuff ahahahaha )

Marco nodded his head slowly. Unconsciously, he placed his hand on her stomach, to check if everything was alright.

"Uhh..." Star said awkwardly.

Marco blushed as he realised what he was doing.

"Whoa sorry!"

Star shook her head, smiling, "No worries Marco hahaha. Oh can you please get met dinner. Pweasee?"

Okay she was back to normal.

"Oh by the way I like your sweater, it smells nice," she finished, hugging his sweater.

Marco grinned.
