It's been two days since Jade's parents kicked her out. They said they didn't want a sinner living in their house with them. As soon as my parents heard they immediately offered her to stay with us.

I haven't seen Eli around the house anymore and I'm pretty sure him and Danni are in some type of fight.

I walk into my fourth hour class and take seat. I look over to the empty seat where Eli used to sit before he kept ditching this class. But as if on cue Eli walks through the door.

"Eli, good to see you've finally joined us for once. Take a seat and have Kade catch you up on what you've missed. You've got a lot of homework young man," our teacher says. Mmm, that sounds like a lot of responsibility. And why does the teacher automatically assume that I was paying attention during class.

Eli sits down next in his original spot next to me. Cameron who's a seat a way goes, "Yeah man, I forgot to ask you, why do you keep skipping this class?"

Eli answers in a hushed tone, "Eh. Wasn't really feeling up to learn about stuff I won't need in life." Sureeee. That's why.

"You left me alone in this class. You suck you know."

"You swallow."

But Cameron came right back at him, "You choke." And then he turn around.

Eli is about to say something but stops himself since he can't think of a better comeback. He does this pout face and leans back in his chair defeated. I can't help but chuckle at this little talk him and his friend had.

"Haha, well that was interesting," I say but it comes out sounding awkward. He looks at me with a clinched jaw.

"Can you just catch me up please."

Ugh that hurts. It'd be a good time for me to become a missing person.

I catch Eli up on most of what I remembered from the last few lessons. His hand is lying on the table and I go to touch the mouse but my hand accidentally grazes his. We both look down at our hands, but then after a second he retracts his hands down onto his lap.

"I'm sorr-" I start but he interrupts me.

He quickly states, "It's fine. Let's just get back to work."

Fuck. I couldn't let him show how much that small of an action affected me. I love Danni. I know I love Danni. I've had sex with her. Of course I love her.

We got in a fight a couple days ago but we'll be fine. We always are. Right? I wish I could repeatedly hit my head against the wall.

After school is over I open my garage door, coming in from the basement.

"Mom! Ella! Anyone home?" I call out to my mom and 5 year old sister.

I hear a faint cry come from my room which is in the basement. I immediately rush over to my room and open the door to see Danni sitting there... crying?

"Danni?"

She looks up at me, sniffling. "Your uh mom and," sniffle, "sister are at the park. I uh- we need to talk."

"How'd you even get in here?" I ask baffled.

She rubs her nose, "Your mom let me in. Look Eli that's not important. Eli we need to talk." Please don't let this be about Kade. Please don't let this be about Kade. Please don't let this- "I cheated on you."

Woah.

Definitely not what I was expecting. Danni starts crying again. Why is she the one crying? Why aren't I upset like she is? I mean I kind of hate to admit it but it doesn't really make me feel any different. It's like I don't even care at all.

"Well aren't you going to say something!" She screams hitting her hands on the bed.

I stutter at first, "I don't really know what to say."

She gets up swiftly, "Babe, look, we can get through this. We can make it past. I know we can. It won't happen again I promise!" Danni pulls her hand on my shoulders, but I grab a hold of her wrist and gently take her hands off.

Danni starts to get frantic, her make up smeared on her face, "Let's talk about it. I read that couples that talk about their problems can get past them easier. Please!" I just stare at her. Yeah I definitely don't even care that she betrayed my trust. Hell I did it to her. But shouldn't I feel a little bit of anger? Jealousy? Something? All I can manage to think of is Kade though. How his soft brown hair lies on his face and his piercing blue eyes. Or his lush pink lips that seem to just taunt you. I close my eyes trying to shrug away the teasing thoughts.

"Sure," I nod, "let's talk."

We both take a seat on my dark sheets. "What should we talk about," she says. Are you serious? She's the one who brought up the idea to talk.

I breath a sigh, "What happened? Who was it with? Why?" I ask not knowing where to start.

"It was with Ben. You know Ben. The tall senior. And I was at my friend Jessica's house and like he was there and when it was time to go he offered to give me a ride home and I just kind of slept with him. I was mad at you okay. You shouldn't have made me angry!"

I laugh a bit of disbelief. "You're turning this on me?" I raise my voice a tad finally starting to get angry.

"I'm sorry! But you really shouldn't have argued with me in the first place and then this would have never happened!"

"Well if you feel that way then maybe I should just leave!"

"Maybe you should!" Danni screams back.

We're both screaming at this point.

I storm out of my own house actually emotionally distressed at this point.

I don't know what caused me to go to him. Maybe it was because I always feel good around him or maybe it's because of the nagging feeling I always have when I'm away from him. Whatever it was I ended up going to Kade.

I ring the doorbell and Bryan answers. "Hello son," Bryan greets me. "Danni's not here."

"I know," I say breathing heavily. "I'm here to talk to Kade."

"Oh I'm sorry, he's not here right now. He's out with Jade and Robbie. Do you wanna come by later? Or I could leave a message?"

"Is it okay if I wait for him," I ask him.

Bryan looks confused for a second, probably wondering what's so important that It can't just wait till later. "Uh sure," he says after a second. Bryan opens the door wide enough for me to walk through. I jog upstairs to Kade's room and wait.

"Don't you dare," I say chuckling. "I will go into survival mode if you tickle me." I throw up karate moves.

Jade holds up her hands in surrender. I take my key out of my pocket and open the door.

We walk upstairs. "Alright I'm going to sleep. I'm beat," Jade says parting to go to the guest room just down the hall from my room. Almost all of the rooms are on the top floor so it gets a little crowded in the morning. I look over to see Jade's bedroom door open and her room empty.

I open my door only to be slightly frightened by a dark figure sitting on my bed staring at a phone.

The figure looks up from the phone and that's when I realize it's Eli.

"Oh hey, ha you startled me. What are you doing here? Danni's not here by the way."

He stands up revealing his dark jeans and tight long-sleeve shirt. God he's so hot I need to get behind a fan or something.

"Danni cheated on me," he says in a strong voice.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry," I say. Of course Danni would do something like that. Always needing drama. Always needing to figure a way to somehow mess up someone's life. I'm so tired of her. I walk closer to Eli. But he closes the distance by coming closer. He wraps one of his arms around my waist closing the distance even more. God he is strong. He stares me in the eyes probably contemplating what he's about to do before he comes in and kisses me. Slowly our lips tangle with each other. He glides his tongue into my mouth letting a groan escape from my mouth. We grind against each other but that's when I realized what I was doing. I pull away from him.

"Wait, what are you doing?" I ask him.

He replies with the simplest answer.
"Getting revenge."
