****RECAP****

I open my door only to be slightly frightened by a dark figure sitting on my bed staring at a phone.

The figure looks up from the phone and that's when I realize it's Eli.

"Oh hey, ha you startled me. What are you doing here? Danni's not here by the way."

He stands up revealing his dark jeans and tight long-sleeve shirt. God he's so hot I need to get behind a fan or something.

"Danni cheated on me," he says in a strong voice.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry," I say. Of course Danni would do something like that. Always needing drama. Always needing to figure a way to somehow mess up someone's life. I'm so tired of her. I walk closer to Eli. But he closes the distance by coming closer. He wraps one of his arms around my waist closing the distance even more. God he is strong. He stares me in the eyes probably contemplating what he's about to do before he comes in and kisses me. Slowly our lips tangle with each other. He glides his tongue into my mouth letting a groan escape from my mouth. We grind against each other but that's when I realized what I was doing. I pull away from him.

"Wait, what are you doing?" I ask him.

He replies with the simplest answer.
"Getting revenge."

I stopped Eli from trying to kiss me again. I scrabble away from him. If I stayed close I know I would've kept kissing him but I can't, I just can't. "You shouldn't be kissing me just because you want to get back at my sister," I say sadly.

He looks startled at first before he recovers and regains composure. "No, it's not like that."

"Yeah it is. It's exactly like that," I respond stopping him from making any more excuses.

He moves closer to me. Eli slowly moves his hand to my cheek gently rubbing it with his thumb. "I want this," he whispers.

I look down feeling vulnerable. "I do to."

He moves away and shakes his head like he approves of what he's doing. "I'm not going to force you. I know what I want. It's you and I'm going to prove it to you one way or another."

Then he just leaves.

I don't even know what to think right now. I've never been this overwhelmed before and I'm ready to just sleep. So I close my eyes and let the darkness encompass me.

I was woken up by Jade. "Come on fuckboy, school starts soon."

"I don't wanna," I groggily say.

She scoffs, "What are you, 11?"

I throw a pillow at her, "Yeah, on a scale of 1-10."

My eyes are still closed but knowing Jade I'm going to presume she's rolling hers.

"Don't be a Debby Downer, today's a great day!" She replies ecstatically.

"What, did Lucky the Leprechaun give you his bowl of Lucky Charms?" I joke.

She starts jumping really fast, "NO BUT REBECCA ASKED ME TO PROM THIS MORNING AND SHE CAME OUT TO HER PARENTS AND THEYRE SO COOL WITH IT AND WE'RE COMING OUT TO THE SCHOOL TODAY IM SO EXCITED!"

I raise my eyebrows at that really long, drawn out, hyped up sentence. Like I didn't know sentences could be hyper, I just thought that the people who said the sentences were hyper but Jade has proved me wrong yet again.

Laughing I get up, "Okay, okay. This is obviously a big deal so I'll get up."

We arrive at school and apparently Jade and Rebecca are supposed to meet before school starts and they're just going to walk into school holding hands. It's not really much of a plan but I guess it gets the point across. It's a couple minutes before school starts so many of the students are just hanging outside. I see Dani staring at Eli, who is talking to Cameron. But I also notice Dani is standing next to some guy who I think is some senior named Ben. But the thing that caught me off guard was the fact that Ben had his arm around my sister. Man she works fast doesn't she.

I can't help but clench my jaw. Eli deserved better than her. Rebecca meets up with us with perfect timing because most students start to walk into the hell hole. Robbie catches up with us and we all walk into the school.

Immediately heads turn with curiosity. I even saw a few teachers. I'd be surprised too, these girls never even really talked before and now they're holding hands. Robbie turns to Jade, "Wait, but won't people think you guys are just 'gal pals' or whatever they say nowadays."

But it was Rebecca who answers, "We got this." And they march in unison to a table set up in the hallway. I pick up the clipboard sitting on the table and it reads "Prom Queen and King signup sheet"

"You're not," I whisper.

Jade smirks at me and writes her name down for queen and Rebecca writes her's down for King. I can't help but smile. I'm truly happy for them. Everyone will know now because people regularly look at that list to keep up with what's going on.

4th period arrives and I'm not sure if I'm happy or not to finally get to see Eli. It's kind of difficult to talk to him because I'm a sophomore and he's a junior. It was probably the same with Danni because she's a senior.

The bell rings right when he takes a seat next to me.

The teacher starts talking but I can't pay attention because Eli passes me a note. I stare at it unsure of what to do. Should I open it?

"Come on, it's a piece of paper. It won't bite. But I will," he whispers to me and then winks.

I gulp and pick up the note silently trying to not alert the teacher. The note reads, "Meet by the front doors right after school." Jesus, even his hand writing is attractive. Kade calm yourself. Splash imaginary water on your self.

*ELI'S P.O.V.*

I don't know where this sudden burst in confidence is coming from but I like it. I mean I'm usually this confident with girls but this is different. It's probably because now I know what I want. I want Kaden Eman no matter what it takes. I've never been more sure than anything. I knew it as soon as I kissed him last night. I wanted him. And I get what I want. Hopefully this will work.

*KADE'S P.O.V.*

Finally the end of the school day rolls around and I was really hoping to forget about meeting Eli later. It couldn't be good right? He's probably going To tell me to stay away from him forever. I keep psyching my self out. I just need to calm down.

Luckily my last class was right next the front doors so I waited by them until Eli met up with me.

I see him rushing through the crowd of teenagers until he spots me. He pats me on the shoulder and quickly says, "Wait here."

Like where was I even going to go? I obviously waited for him, I'm not just going to leave now.

Eli stick his thumb and index finger in his mouth and whistles extremely loudly. "Hey!" He screams getting pretty much everyone's attention in the hallway. "Listen up! I want everyone to hear this. Kade," he pauses. What is he doing?!?! He takes a really deep breath, "Kade, I like you!" I could barely hear my own loud confusing thoughts over the sudden gasps. It's not everyday a presumed straight guy pronounces his acclaimed crush on his girlfriend's gay brother. Well ex girlfriend... I think. But even through the gasps he continues, "I like you, a lot. And I can't stop and I don't want to stop. The feeling I get when I'm with you is unimaginable and I don't want to feel this way with anyone else." He laughs, "I know this is probably really cheesy and not great timing considering I don't even think I've broken up with your sister yet, but," he stops and pulls out a poster board with words written in darts stuck to the board saying "Prom?"

I don't think I've even moved yet.

"Well?" He asks.

I slowly smile, "I'd be honored."

There were mostly claps and some shocked faces but overall I think it was a pretty positive crowd. Eli puts the board down and rushes to me taking my face in his hands.

"For a second I thought you were going to say no there," he chuckles. Then he leans down and kisses me. In Front of everyone and I can't help but smile during the kiss.

Maybe this prince can actually get his happily ever after.

(Author's/Note) The book is not over yet. I'm just glad I finally got a chapter wrote. But I think this book will be fairly short. Probably a short story.

I am, though writing another book called suit and tie which is a manxboy book and holy hell it is really good and I just posted it so please check it out.
