Chapter 17

I was waiting for him in fear but those two minutes he was there seemed like hours until he came back.

"Well, I finally met your roommate. Although she thinks she is hallucinating." he said amused and I breath out heavily with relieve when I realized it was false alarm and Pablo isn't here.

"What? What is she doing here? She was supposed to be at work." I said as I stood up from the bed.

"Well I don't think she would be useful in that condition at all." he said still smiling.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Just check for yourself." he laughed. So I went to the living room and found Mia sitting on the floor with bottle of wine in her hand.

"Mia?" I said and she looked up at me.

"Oh helloooo. Did I wake you uuup? I am sorry the stupid glass got out of my stupid hand." she said and it was evident she was totally drunk. I never saw her like this before. I went closer and sat down on the floor next to her.

"Are you ok?" I asked her worried and she looked at me with sad eyes.

"Yep. I am fine." she answered and took a sip from the bottle.  

"Aren't you supposed to be working?" I asked her.

"Yep. Normally I would be at work if that jerk boss of mine didn't fire me." she replied sarcastically.

"He did what?" I asked her shocked. "Why did he fired you?"

"I came late. Only five minutes late." she showed me all of her five fingers on her hand.  

"Only because of that?" I asked her still confused.

"Yep." she said.

"Oh honey. You will find another and better job. Don't worry about that." I said.

"That's not all what happened." she said and again took a sip from the bottle. I should probably stop her. She clearly had enough.

"What else had happened?" I asked

"After I've got fired I went to Jeremys and found him in bed with his neighbor." she said and started to cry.

"Oh that bastard." I said.

"With his neighbor John." she added.

 "What?" I said shocked. "Oh I am so sorry honey." I quickly hugged her and tried to comfort her. She cried for a while.

"Well at least I know why he was so bad in bed." she added wiping her tears from her face and I hold my laugh for that remark. I shouldn't be laughing at this kind of matter.

 "Well it is better I found him with a man and not a woman. At least I know it is not my fault." she said as I was stroking her hand to calm her.

"And I also think I am getting crazy." she squealed after a while and took another big sip from the bottle.

"No you are not getting crazy." I told her.

"Yes I am. I am seeing Prince Henry in our living room." she said and I looked behind me where Henry was standing and watching us. I again had to held myself from laughing pressing my lips together.

"Baby, you are not crazy but I think you had enough of this." I said and took the bottle from her. "Let's go I am going to put you in bed." I told her and I started to help her stand up.

"Do you need a help?" Henry came to us.

"No it's ok. Thank you." I said to him.

"You see him too?" Mia looked at me with her eyes popped out while she was leaning on my shoulder.

"Yes I see him too. But we will talk about this tomorrow ok?" I told her and tried to walk her to her room.

"Helloooo Prince Henry. Good niiiiiight Prince Henry." she sang as I was leading her to her room. Well, at least she isn't crying.

"Good night Mia." he replied amused.

"Ooooh he knows my naaaame." she said to me with her eyes popped out and I had to finally laugh.

"How is she?" Henry asked me when I came back to the living room. He was standing there waiting for me.

"She fall asleep the moment she lied down." I said and came closer to him and hugged him tightly.

"I am so relieved it was just Mia." I breathed into his chest.

"You don't have to worry when you are with me. I have been trained to defend myself and others. That is why I don't have a security all the time with me." he told me to calm me down as I was still a little bit shaken. Pablo will be still a threat to me and all people I am close to. Would he be really able to defend himself from him?

"I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise." he told me as he kissed me on forehead.  

"I wasn't worried about me. I was worried about you." I looked at him and he smiled at me.

"Let's go to bed." he said and leaded me to my bedroom.

In the morning I woke up as the first one. I was again lying under Henry's firm grip and had to find a way to get up without waking him up. I quickly showered and dressed myself. When I came to the kitchen I found him there behind the stove.

"Good morning." he greeted me and I came to him and kissed him softly on his lips. My whole body awakened as a reaction to his touch.

"Good morning." I said smiling 

"I am making breakfast for you." he said with a beautiful smile.

"Really? Thank you! You are spoiling me! I can get used to it." I said and wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him harder. Gosh if I didn't had to go to work I would stay the whole day in bed with him.

"Do you have to go to work?" he asked me as his hands were tracing to my butt. Is he reading my mind?

"Unfortunately I have to." I said disappointed.

"What about you?" I asked him.

"This is actually my last day off duty." he said and I was hit by surprise.

"That is why I wanted the whole weekend for us. I will be working during the whole week. I will come back on Friday night. I have to go back to the base." he said sadly. How am I going to get through the whole week without him?

"If I could I would stay with you the whole day." I said and kissed him.

"OH. MY. GOD." I heard Mia behind me.

"I wasn't hallucinating last night." she said as I turned to look at her. She was still in her clothes from yesterday and she was standing there with her mouth opened.

"Good morning." Henry greeted her and waved.  She didn't even blinked while she was standing there staring at him like at ghost.

"I think I am going in to the shower. I guess you have some explanation to do." he told me, packed a kiss on my lips and went to the bathroom. I came closer to Mia.

"How? When? How?" she asked me confused and pointed at the closed door of our bathroom where Henry just entered.

"Ok. I will answer everything. But you have to promise me you will keep it to yourself." I told her and she quickly nodded.

"You are the third person who knows about us. We want to keep our relationship in secret as long as we can." I started.

"Yes of course. I will keep my mouth shut. I promise." she said as she zipped her mouth.

"Wow." she said after a while as I told her how we met at the club and then at the hospital. I also told her how he found me again and we went for a tea and we ended up together. I think it is enough. She doesn't have to know all the details.

 "Did you already meet the king?" she asked me.

"No. I didn't and I think I will not meet him anytime soon. I told you our relationship is secret." I said.

"Who else knows about you?"

"His sister Emma and her boyfriend." I said.

"You met the Princess?" she asked me excited and I nodded.

"Eva." she started seriously after a while. "I hope you will not get burned on this relationship. Well his reputation isn't really nice. They see him every time with different girls." she told me worriedly.

"You don't have to worry. Really. I trust him and he is not like the tabloids write he is." I told her as she was looking at me skeptically.

"Well I don't want you to end up like me." she said sadly. "Well I think at least you will not find him with a man in the bed." she said.

"Hey. Everything explained?" Henry came from the bathroom.

"Everything important, yes." I replied.

"I am sorry about what happened to you yesterday." he said to Mia as she was staring at him.

"You know what? My friend owns a restaurant. I can ask him if he isn't looking for a new waitress. If you would like to work there, of course." he said.

"Oh really? That would be amazing. Thank you!" she finally said something to him.

"You are welcome." he smiled at her and she was immediately charmed by him.

The whole day at work went so slowly I thought the evening will not come. When I came to the hospital I finally turned on my cell phone. I turned it off on Friday night so nobody was bothering me. I had a deal with Dr. Williams if something happened she would go to work instead of me.  When I turned on my phone I received another prank call where nobody on the other side was answering me. I think I will have to change my number. Some kids are making a really stupid joke.

 I missed Henry the whole day and I can't imagine how much I will miss him during the week. I didn't expect him to go away so early. I think he spoiled me with his presence during the weekend. I can't help to think about my feelings for him and I am afraid he will not share the same feelings as I have. I love him. But I can't tell him that. I am not going to tell him that only after such a short time of knowing him. I think I am crazy. Who falls in love after two weeks of dating?

But my feelings got known about themselves when Henry was waiting for me after work in front of the hospital. My heart started to beat faster and sometimes even skipped a beat.

"Hello beauty." he said when I got into the car. His sweet welcome kiss was like a cherry on the top of the cake. We drove to my flat and I was excited about what will come next.

"We have it all for ourselves tonight." he said when we entered our flat and I was looking around if Mia was there. I turned to look at him surprised.

"I asked Mia for a favor. She left the flat to us for tonight. She went to sleep to her parents."

"When were you with Mia?" I asked him.

"She went to James's restaurant on a job interview and I was there. He hired her. So she said she owned me and I immediately took the chance." he smiled at me.

"She really got the job?" I asked him excited and he nodded.

"Thank you. You are the best." I said and wrapped my hands around his neck and put my lips to his. I kissed him passionately. I had to take a breath so I rested my forehead against his.

"Gosh I love you." he breathed out and I froze. I leaned back to look at his face as I thought I must have heard wrong.

"What did you say?" I asked bewildered as I was staring at his face. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He opened them and smiled at me uncertain.

"Before I met you. I never knew I could think about someone so much. I never knew I could stare at someone and never get tired of looking at their face." he said and stroke some hair from my face behind my ear.

"I never knew I could be sleepless when someone is missing in my bed and I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason." he continued as I was staring at him and thinking I am imagining it.

" And the last but not least. I never knew I could ever love someone as much as I love You."
