Dawn of Mankind (Ochako) part two

Ten years later~

"And there!" Izuku says as he crossed out the four tick marks to make it a fifth. Dropping the stone on his side, he went out of the cave to get some more water. Near the river, the stream was a bucket that he quickly filled up and brought it back to his home.

The trip from the cave to his home was a short one. With partial clouds in the sky and a nice breeze against his nudity. Now assuming in his mid-twenties, life was different and easy for Izuku. He and Ocha became close over the years and eventually, he grew to even love this primitive female look-alike of Ochako. Their lives were an endless routine of hunting, sleeping, mating, and rinse and repeat.

"Papa!" Izuku looks to see his oldest racing after him. The father put down the large bucket to kneel down and hug his son.

"Minato!" Izuku picks him up before twirling his child in the air. The laughter came from the boy who sent happiness in Izuku's very being. Minato was three years old now. A very cheerful lad always looking at the positives in his surroundings.

"You didn't cause your mother any trouble did you?"

"No trouble!"

"Attaboy."

As father and son walked back to the hut with Minato being carried on the arm while the bucket of water being on the other. Entering the home which they loved so dearly and to be greeted by two females.

"Ahoha." Izuku smiles at this lover coming up to take Minato before kissing him on the cheek.

"Ah! Ah!" Another voice got his attention and it was his young daughter. Picking her up and hugging her, Izuku saw the cheerful smile that she shared with her mother.

As both parents walked to the campfire that Izuku had made. The father set down his one-year-old daughter next to him. He looked at his children with pride and joy.

Minato has only been about ten years old while his daughter Misuki only a year old now. Izuku was nervous about the idea of being a father but the concerns were different than it was when he was living in society. He didn't have to worry about the pressures of civilianization upon his children just more so the dangers of nature itself. Without vaccines, illness is expected to happen as Ochako has gotten sick more than he ever has over the ten year period. In fact, he never has gotten sick whatsoever.

This is why when they had Minato and later on Misuki, Izuku took extra care as to what the children would eat as he wasn't sure if his modern-day immunity was passed on like his intellect.

Listening to his wife(if that was the correct word) humming a lullaby to their son as he almost nods off into sleep but still remained awake to look at his father. Izuku picked up the little Misuki and looked at her. She looked exactly like her mother, brown hair and eyes and everything. Though she could walk, she wasn't able to talk yet, only sound out noises just like her mother. Izuku figures that maybe the time wasn't right yet.

"Let's get you to sleep little one." He says as he rocks her back and forth. After a while, she rested in his arms. Smiling down at her, Izuku put her next to a makeshift mat.

"Papa?" Izuku looks back at his son.

"What is it Minato?"

"I wanted to ask?" The child sat next to him as they both look at the young girl sleeping peacefully. Ochako looked at the pair of males with some interests but didn't really move.

"How come mama doesn't talk like we do?"

"That's because...she is different from me. Frankly, I didn't expect you or your sister to be able to understand me. But here you are, understanding me pretty well, just have to wait and see if your sister is the same."

"Oh well is it a good thing we can talk?"

"Sure it is. Though don't expect anyone else to be able to speak to one another. The world is a bit different than before."

"You told me before. Back when you lived with your mama."

"Yes...back then..." or was it later on? The memories were still vague and time was a bit funky. Was he sent back? Or was he in a distant future where humanity had fallen and regressed back to their primitive selves? It didn't matter for the most part as the decade went by, Izuku gained more memories regarding Ochako Uraraka of the present day. How they became great friends, the number of trials they endured together, going to class, having fun. She was the one who broke him out of his shell. To help him have some confidence in himself.

"Can you tell me about your mama?" Minato asks with a curious tone. Izuku nods hesitantly. He had very little memories of his mother, only her name and how she looked. But he did know that she was a kind and worrisome woman. So Izuku proceeds to tell him about his mother, Minato's grandmother. The son listened intently.

For the rest of the morning, the father and son talked, much to Ocha's confusion, she was happy to have Izuku be connected to them. Izuku noticed her smiling face whenever he gave her a glance. How she held their daughter to her chest, as the little girl slept. Izuku felt so much happiness.

Soon nightfall came and then the following days as well. The family of four stayed together until a visitor came to their hut.

Two weeks later~

Izuku awoke to the sound of screams from his young daughter. His parental instincts kicked in and grabbed the nearest weapon as he rose and dashed away from his lover's side. Ocha was now wide awake as well as scanning the home. It was still dark and hard to see. But the shadowy figure holding her daughter and trying to make a run for the exit caught her attention. Izuku rushes the being and stabs the thing in the head. His spear went through the shadow as the sound of sickening crunch from its skull alerted the whole family.

"Papa!"

"Stay with mama, Minato!" Izuku orders as his son follow. Holding his mother on to comfort her and himself.

Izuku dropped the body but made sure to get his little girl away from it. She was crying and loud. Izuku held her and stroke her soft hair.

"Hush. Please baby, it's okay now. Papa is here." Izuku says as he carries her over to Ocha, who is sitting upright, now looking with concern. Izuku knelt down and gave Misuki to her. The little one did struggle a bit to hug her father but Izuku still manages to give his lover their daughter.

Going over to the fireplace. He quickly started a fire. Once the cracking of flames began, the adrenaline died down a bit as Izuku's senses came back to him. The sound of pouring rain fell as if it hit the roof of the hut. It was the only sound besides his children's cries and his lover hushes and whispered to calm them down.

Looking over at the thing that he killed, Izuku felt almost disgusted at the dead man who laid there with a spearhead going through his face and out of the back of his skull. Shaking off the nerves, Izuku walked over to him and pulled out the bloodied weapon and tried to get a good look at the man.

"Why did he come here, papa?" Minato asks in-between sobs.

"I don't know...but I need to take him away from here," Izuku says with some urgency in his voice. He picked up the man who was about less his height but definitely malnourished.

"Minato, close the hut and grab my spear. If anyone comes in here that isn't me. Defend Misuki and your mother. Understand?"

"Why not take us with you?"

Izuku shook his head. "It's still dark out, plus we don't know if he brought anyone or anything with him."

"But..."

"Listen to me when I am telling you to do something!" Izuku growled at his son. Minato was shocked, he never once had his father raised his voice at him. Ocha was also shocked but too scared to say otherwise. Izuku felt his heart waver once he saw his daughter, she didn't stop crying. Looking away and taking the dead body outside. Izuku used his powers from his previous life.

The power of One for All coursing his veins made him all the more powerful. Leaping off the mountain and into the forest far below. He looked for a spot to drop the man and quickly bury him.

Once he finished burying the man. Izuku jumped and hopped up the mountain. Desperately heading back to his family. He didn't take the normal trail as he was climbing and leaping top the rocky and wet terrain. He caught glimpses of animals making their way upward.

They didn't normally go in packs but they had a common prey that was lead to their home. Sabertooths.

Strong and persistent. Izuku always had trouble with them, considering that he was in an era or a place where modern medicine wasn't available, he did get scars from the beasts. His quirk and wits helped him and his family stay alive.

But they shouldn't be in packs...that was a canine thing. From what Izuku remembered. But how are they coming to his home?

It wasn't until he saw the trail of blood leading to his home.

"No!" Izuku cursed as he raced up to the top of the hill. He heard the screams and with an urgency he got to his location.

He saw Ochako take their daughter and son in arms as a beast of a feline was about to pounce on her.

"Smash!" He shouts as his fist clocks the feline away from his family.

"Dad!"

"Are any of you hurt Minato?" Izuku questions. The boy shoots his head before replying "no".

Izuku breathes a sigh of relief before engaging with his predators. About ten of them were closing in. The one he hit was not getting up.

Izuku went and got into his stance. In the distance, the hut was clawed and force open, explaining why his family was outside in the pouring rain.

One after another, they came at him. Izuku dealt with them before but only in pairs or by themselves. Never a group of them.

As his fist smashed into one of the strongest felines of the area, Izuku noticed he was being surrounded. He couldn't risk a big blast otherwise it would destroy the mountain they were all on.

It was a blur. One after another, he fends them off. His body still able to go. It wasn't until one of the unharmed ones were chasing after his family.

He aimed his fingers like in one of his old memories.

"Delaware Smash!" The gust of wind knocked the Tiger off of the mountain and down to its death. Ochako was covering the children from the harsh wind.

Izuku smiled slightly before a sharp, stabbing pain landed on his arm and neck.

Two of them were on him. With a grunt, he knocked one off the cliff and down with the other, while smashing the other tiger to the side of the mountain with a bit to much power.

With the sounds of rumbling, Izuku looked at the mountain and cursed. He got careless. Looking towards his family and then towards the remaining tigers, the felines were retreating down the mountain while his family stared petrified at the looming danger.

Izuku raced in front of his lover and children, shielding them from the next plan of action. He readied his good arm and bad arm together.

"Double Detroit Smash!" The two fists shot forward blowing apart of the mountain slide of boulders and stone. A huge gust of wind blasting away the mountain or a good portion of it.

The wind was strong enough to break the rainy skies, revealing the star-filled night.

"Wow! That was so amazing dad!"

Minato shouted in excitement and joy that Izuku had forgotten his fatal injuries for a moment.

Relaxing his body and turning off his quirk. Izuku turned around to face his lover and embraced her with their daughter between their chest and Minato hugging both of their legs. The family was safe. Next was to get a fire started.

Due to his fighting, their hut was destroyed in the chaos. However, Izuku was prepared for such a case to happen if he needed materials for a fire. Getting some firewood together and some stone and flint. It was easy enough to get a flame ready. His concerns for the wet ground were not warranted.

Soon the family, save for Izuku was asleep again. Making sure that they wouldn't be attacked by man or animal...

The next morning~

Izuku sighed as he burned the wounds. His neck was especially painful. He lost a lot of blood and he immediately realized that his artery was hit on his arm but his neck wasn't. Otherwise, he would have been dead through the night.

His lover waking up and she immediately found his state in a crisis. Ochako was immediately worried for him. Izuku did his best to calm her down but he was so tired and exhausted from last night's ordeal and the wounds that came with it.

When the family woke up. Izuku had gotten them breakfast by using one of the dead sabertooths lying around.

"Minato, come here."

As the soon walked to his side. The boy paid plenty of attention.

"I want to teach you the basics before my time is up."

"Uh sure, dad." Minato not catching on to what Izuku was saying. The rest of the day, only the mother of the family would catch onto her lover's pain. While Izuku didn't understand her language or lack thereof, her voice of pain and anxiety was enough to make Izuku feel terrible. As morning turned to noon then to evening. The sun shining its last light before dusk came.

As the day went on Izuku taught Minato basic first-aid and how to clean and cover wounds, which plants were good to use to disinfect and others weren't. Izuku managed to bandages his wounds but due to the severe amount of blood loss, he knew that he was only stalling time.

The next day, the family of four set off. Izuku needed to get them away from the mountain. It was dangerous for them. The best bet was to get them to somewhere safe to start over.

"Huff...huff." Izuku walked with dead feet his skin paled. Any predators that came to attack them, Izuku easily dealt with them his powers. Eventually, his travels lead him to low plains. He felt his mind slowly shutting off, the pain and fatigue were getting to him.

As they set up shelter, Izuku instructed Minato on how to build a hut then expanded it later on. Once the family, was settled for the day with their dinner some berries that the father picked out, Izuku laid down next to the flame outside the hut, his lover and children together. Getting ready to sleep.

Izuku knew it was done. While he had so many questions as to what happened to him, were was his family, his mother. What happens to the heroes or society? Too many for him to answer.

Laying down with last breath and the warmth of the flame next to him. Izuku closes his eyes and rests forever...

181,313 BCE. 183,333 years before the present day.

A baby cried as he was reborn into the world once again. To continue living in the days of the prehistoric era...
