"Lisa! I missed you!" Rosé immediately engulfed me in a hug.

"It's only been two days, Roseanne." Jisoo chuckled at her.

She pulled away from the hug and finally let me have a seat. I looked around to check if Jungkook's already here.

And there he is. Laughing along with his six other friends who looks like a whole squad of hot bachelors.

"The teacher's late." I muttered.

"You're late." Jennie spat.

I leaned on my chair and stared brought my phone out. I checked the messages from mother, telling me to take care of myself blah blah blah.

I'm not suppose to attend classes today. I just enrolled Kai to his new school this morning that's why I'm late. And I just ran some papers for legal adoption yesterday.

Plus... I had to take care of that rotten Pharmacy all by myself.

It's tiring.

"Good Morning, class!" Our homeroom teacher arrived.

We greeted her back as usual.

"Today, you're having another new classmate! Are you excited?" The teacher widely smiled at us but we stayed silent.

Another problem child.

Rosé, the human angel, was the only person who clapped and responded with the teacher.

"She must be pretty rich too!" Rosé whuspered behind me.

I glanced at Jungkook who is sitting beside me but he's just sitting there boringly, not interested at all.

"Isn't Elite Class already full? Why are they squeezing another student in?" I asked Rosé.

Rosé tilted her head, "That's exactly the reason. This new student must be living in diamonds."

"Come in! Come in!" The teacher signaled the new student who was probably been standing outside for hours.

As soon as the new student set foot inside the classroom, my eyes immediately widened.

He bowed, "Hello! It's nice to meet everyone. My name is Bambam, from Thailand."

Upon the mention of my home country, everyone in the class immediately had their eyes on me.

"Thailand? Like Lisa Manoban?"

"Maybe he's Lisa's Brother."

"Don't be ridiculous. The Princess is an only child."

Everyone were whispering at each other. But Jungkook suddenly nudged me, "Who's he?"

I rolled my eyes and glared at Bambam who is already smiling at me and waving his hand. He's totally declaring the whole world that he knows me.

"What makes you think you belong in our class?" Jennie raised her hand.

The same question she asked to me. But I know for a fact, that Bambam is way richer than her.

"Because I'm the conglomerate heir of the biggest financing company, entire asia. And..." Bambam turned to me.

"I'm the first cousin of the one and only, Princess Lalisa of the Manoban Royal Family." He continued, making everyone gasp.

Rosé immediately nudged me, "I didn't know you had a cousin!"

I glanced at Jungkook who is already looking at me with a confused expression written all over his face.

I looked at Bambam who is smiling proudly and winked at me.

"You're dead." I muttered to myself.

As soon as the bell rang, I immediately stood up from my seat and went to Bambam.

I grabbed his wrist and dragged him towards the rooftop.

"Who sent you here?" My thai started as soon as we arrived.

"You already know who." He shrugged his shoulders.

"And why did mother allow you?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I think you got the wrong memo. I didn't have the least intention to leave Thailand. Our parents planned this." Bambam sighed.

"Planned for what?" I asked.

"The Queen told my Dad about you spending money carelessly. They saw your expenses and you spent over a hundred million in a month. That's why as an heir to the company, my dad ordered me to look out for you and regulate your expenses." Bambam answered.

I furrowed my brows, "Since when did they cared about how much money I spend?"

"Since now. You should atleast know this, Lisa. Your spending money in a foreign country." He spat.

"Exactly. I'm helping this country by contributing taxes." I reasoned out.

Bambam sighed, "If the media finds out about you shutting down a pharmacy, kicking out a business leaser, and adopting a kid... your parents will flip out. The King and the Queen themselves as well as your fianceé's family."

I face-palmed myself, "How long are you staying here?"

"Until your wedding happens." He answered, making my eyes widen..

"What?!"

"Yup. And my dad only booked a week long in a hotel for me. Can I come live with you?" Bambam clinged on my arm.

"Hell no. My penthouse is already full. Kai already owns the other room." I yanked my arm back.

"Oh, so Kai is the kid's name. Maybe I'll go ahead and report this to the Queen—"

I glared at him, "Go buy yourself a place."

"Lisa... Do you know why our family is the biggest financing company in Asia?" Bambam asked.

"Like I care!" I spat.

He sighed at me, "My whole family doesn't like spending so much money."

"A big fat lie. Then why did your dad book you a whole week at a hotel?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Because I hold the image of the company as well as being a relative of the Manoban Royal Family." Bambam shrugged his shoulders.

I sighed in defeat, "Fine! But you better pay for the groceries!"

"What?! Why?!" Bambam pouted.

"Don't be a freeloader. And I'm already answering all of Kai's school expenses using my own money. Don't be a nuisance, Bam." I glared at him.

He lifted up his hands like surrendering, "Sure. You know very well that the Queen won't let you starve to death. Our family poops money."

Damn right.

I was about to talk when my phone suddenly rang. I took it from my pocket and checked the caller ID.

Joongdong High
calling...

"Hello?" I answered the call.

"Is this Kai's guardian?" The caller asked.

"Yes. Why did you call? Did something happened to him?" I worried asked.

The other line went silent for a few seconds.

"Kai got into a fight."

Jungkook

I just came back from the cafeteria after Lisa dragged her cousin out. Half an hour had passed already and they're not back yet.

"Hey, Rosé. Do you know where Lisa is?" I asked Jimin's girlfriend.

She shook her head, "We were also looking for her earlier. I guess she spent her break with her cousin."

I bit my lips and decided to look for her.

The ice cream on my hand is going to melt soon. I even bought her chocolates, which Rosé told me it was her favorite.

I was about to go back in the cafeteria when I saw Lisa running down the stairs coming from the rooftop.

"Lisa!" I called out her name.

Fortunately, she heard me and looked back. She sighed in relief right after seeing me. And she started walking towards me.

"There you are." She started.

I smiled at her, "I bought you snacks."

"We have to go." She suddenly grabbed my wrist.

"Go where? We still have classes." I furrowed my brows.

She didn't answer. Instead, she pulled me towards the parking lot, pushed me on the driver's seat and got inside my car.

"To Joongdong High." She eyed me, silently telling me to start driving.

"Geez, I'm not your uber driver. And why are you going to Joongdong?" I asked and started driving.

She leaned on her chair and face palmed herself, "Kai got into a fight."

I scoffed, "You enrolled him against his will. What do you expect?"

"I expect him to stop bitching around and get his life back." Lisa rolled her eyes.

I sighed, "I already told you not to adopt a random kid."

"He's not some random kid. And before I forgot, I'm actually confused about something." Lisa tilted her head at me.

"Confused about what?" I furrowed my brows.

She smiled at me, "You're weirdly kind towards me. You even bought me a snack."

I shrugged my shoulders, "Is it weird doing those for my fianceé."

"You really think I'll believe your act? You just broke up with Eunha a.k.a. the Juliet of your life last week and now you're suddenly acting like you're into me? How filthy." She chuckled.

I'm suppose to laugh. But I didn't. Instead, I suddenly feel frustrated. Angry. Annoyed.

"If you don't acknowledge me, that's fine. That's not something I can control. I'm only trying my best as your fianceé." I answered.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because I want to." I answered.

"Why do you want to?"

I sighed, "Because..."

Lisa raised an eyebrow at me, waiting for me to continue my sentence.

I looked at her, stared into her eyes as she gave me her amusing smile and curious eyes.

I noticed a certain familiarity on her face, giving me goosebumps all over my skin.

"I'm starting to like you."
