CHAPTER 13
Jungkook
We continued hugging in the dark alley as I rested my chin on tope of her head, warming her up.
She smells so good.
For some reason, her scent smells familiar to me. Like I already know this scent not just from a week ago or something but from way back in the past.
Maybe when I was still a kid or a teen. I don't remember but it smells familiar to me. It smells nostalgic.
"You smell good." She muttered. Her voice getting muffled on my chest, sending me vibrations.
I gulped, "Thanks."
Just as we were... getting a little friendly and civil towards each other, my phone rang.
Lisa seem to notice this and we both pulled away from the hug. I checked my pocket and pulled out my phone.
My Eunha ✨
calling...
I answered the call, "Hey!"
"Where are you? I just went to the comfort room and you were gone." She asked.
I scratched the back of my head, "Uh..." I glanced at Lisa is just watching me talk to Eunha.
"I-I took a little walk for a while. Sorry, I didn't tell you." I let out a force chuckle.
"Are you coming back?" Eunha asked.
I looked at Lisa again. If I leave her here, will she be alright? Knowing that her car is left and we're both being chased by guards.
"I don't think I can. I have to run some errands. My dad called." I lied.
Eunha sighed, "Okay. Be safe."
Lisa tilted her head, "Is that Eunha?"
I put my index finger on my nose and shushed her in silence. I internally face palmed myself.
"You too. I'll message you when I get home." I assured her and ended the call.
I grabbed Lisa by the wrist and led her towards my car. I made sure the cops weren't around anymore so we went back to the resto to get my car.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked as she watches me buckle up my seatbelt.
"Home. We have a class tomorrow. We both need a long rest." I said, starting the engine.
She scoffed, "A long rest? But you're here with that bitch."
"Is that why you came here? To stalk me?" I asked and started driving.
"Don't be delusional. I came here to see what you were up to and not with that bitch. Guess, she's waging her tail on you, huh?" She spat.
I rolled my eyes, "That's a whole definition of stalking, Lisa. And why don't you just let us be? We would be friends like what we did earlier, that way."
For a few seconds, I didn't hear from her as silence engulfed the both of us after I said that.
So I turned to my side and checked if she's still breathing.
"Hey. You okay?" I asked, still keeping my eyes on the road.
I heard her chuckle, "If that's the case, I'll keep messing with her. I don't want to be your friend."
I furrowed my brows, "Do you have bipolar disorder? You we're acting all friendly earlier—"
"Friendly? Is that how you see it?" She scoffed.
"What else should it be?" I shrugged my shoulders.
I just heard her sigh, "Are we really going home?"
"Do you still want to go somewhere? It's already late and you already got yourself in trouble. Don't be ridiculous-"
"Jeon Jungkook..." She cuts me off.
I responded with a hum.
I felt her shift and moved closer to me. I took a glance at her and she was looking right at my face, like examining me.
"Why do you always want to go home so bad when you're with me?" She muttered.
I was taken a back at her words. I gulped and just focused on driving.
I feel strange. At a daily basis, I would answer her immediately. But now, I can't.
I feel like something inside me is holding me back from doing so.
"Are you faithful to Eunha that much?" She asked again.
I didn't bother looking at her anymore as her words are suddenly making me uncomfortable.
"Sit properly. We're almost at home." I spat, changing the topic.
She sighed and did what I said.
She setteled on her seat, "Fine. If you won't like me, then I'll make sure she won't like you either. The real you."
Lisa
Another in school, another boring day for me. I walked inside the campus, my heels making sound on the tiled floor of our hallway.
I entered the elite class and was immediately welcomed by Rosé's hug.
"You're early! Where's Jungkook?" She asked.
I smiled back at her, "Do I look awful alone?"
She immediately shook her head, "N-No! Of course not! T-That's not what I mean." She let out a nervous chuckle.
"I'm joking." I said and walk passed her, seating on my table.
"You're extra gloomy today." Jennie appeared beside me.
"Don't worry. That's just a sign for you not to talk to me." I sarcastically said.
She smirked, "Good. You're annoyed. Annoying people is fun, you know?"
I smiled at her, "It is. Not until you look annoying to the point that you look stupid and incompetent."
"You crazy bitch." She muttered.
"And you're at it again! Goodmorning! Let's keep this morning good! Shall we?" Jisoo went in between us and dragged Jennie away from me.
I just smiled at Jennie while she is glaring at me. Probably killing me in her mind.
It didn't took the class too long to end as me and the three girls were already having snack in the cafeteria.
"How come you eat a lot but doesn't get fat?" I tilted my head at Rosé, munching a burger.
"I do pilates." She shrugged her shoulders.
Just as I was about to respond to Rosé, I saw Eunha entering the café with Jungkook.
It automatically made my blood boil that I unintentionally stabbed the cafeteria table with a fork, making Jennie squeal.
"What the hell, Lisa?! Behave!" She yelled at me.
I ignored her at kept my eyes locked on Jungkook and Eunha, who is already looking at my direction because of the commotion Jennie did.
I stood up and walked towards them, "Wow. Such a thick-faced third party you are, Jung Eunha. Walking in here beside my fianceé."
I glared at Jungkook but he just rolled his eyes at me and sighed in annoyance.
"Enough, Lisa." He glared at me.
There he goes again. Defending that two faced bitch and leaving me alone all by myself in front of all these people watching.
"Shut up. I'm talking to her." I eyed Eunha.
Eunha glared at me, "I'm not a third party."
"Then what are you? Future mistress? Future homewrecker?" I asked as I chuckle.
She bit her lips to stop herself from tearing up, "Jungkook doesn't love you."
I smirked, "Tell me something new, Eunha. Rebut something interesting."
"Just stop it, Lisa-"
"I wasn't talking to you, Jungkook." I warned him for the last time.
I turned my attention back to Eunha, "Stop making Jungkook protect you. Now tell me. What else do you have on your sleeves?"
She just glared at me and walked past me like I didn't matter.
But I didn't let her leave and purposely grabbed her hair, "You're not going anywhere."
"Lisa!" Jungkook immediately grabbed my wrist, telling me to let go of Eunha but I didn't listen as I gripped her hair harder.
I want her scalp open.
People gathered around us and started watching the drama.
"You were being mighty and headstrong threatening me for revenge but you're walking away." I grabbed her hair harder, making her bend lower.
"Let go of me, bitch!" She reached me and grabbed my hair, making me grab her harder.
"Let go!" Eunha said as we're both grabbing each others' hair with the least intention to let go.
"I'm gonna make your head bleed, you shameless whore!" I yelled at her.
"Stop being delusional! Jungkook doesn't love you! The engagement is just for a short time!" She yelled back at me.
"You're finally coming out from your shell! And you just want Jungkook for money!" I yelled.
We kept on yelling at each other, not minding Jungkook who is trying to separate us.
"You think your special huh?! Just because the son of the president loves you?!" I shouted at her face.
"Just shut up and let go!" She said.
"Enough!" I felt Jungkook's hands grabbing my shoulders. Pulling me away with force, causing me to stumble down on the floor.
I hissed when my ass hit the tiled floor.
I looked up only to see Jungkook checking up on Eunha, holding her in his arms and making sure she was okay.
I clenched my jaw in anger that I didn't notice the tears building up on my eyes.
He's willing to hurt me just for that girl!
Why?!
I was about to stand up when a pair of large hands carried me bridal style. I looked up and saw his stern face.
"Kim Mingyu." I muttered his name.
He smiled at me, "Don't be jealous. You also have a protector."
I suddenly felt little in his arms as he carried me so effortlessly. I turned to Jungkook and Eunha who is already looking at us.
Jungkook was about walk towards us but stopped after one step. I furrowed my brows in confusion at his sudden movements.
"Jeon Jungkook!" Mingyu shouted. But Jungkook just glared at him.
"If you don't want the Princess, can I take her instead?" Mingyu said, making my eyes widened.
