CHAPTER 10
Jungkook
I shouldn't have gone to school. I'm already late and I'm tired from what I did last night that I don't even know of.
"Jungkook." Taehyung nudged me.
"What?" I asked in annoyance.
He suddenly gave me a playful grin, "Someone is looking tired from last night! That's why she's not present today right? I guess you took my advice."
I facepalmed myself, "I wish I did but it wasn't her."
"What do you mean?" Taehyung sat beside on Lisa's chair beside me.
"I don't know. My mind was all fuzzy like I was drunk. I started craving to be nipped. But Eunha kept lingering in my mind and Lisa got mad this morning. I knew I did something idiotic that night. But I don't know what it is. I don't remember." I clenched my fist.
Taehyung held my shoulders, "I don't know your fianceé that much but she's seems like a sociopath to me. And you're dead because she's probably planning ways to kill you and Eunha."
"You know, you're not making it any better. I'm close to yeeting you off that window." I pointed at the window behind him.
"I was just telling you my opinion. And why are you so obsessed with Eunha? I mean, she does look cute. But bro, Lisa Manoban? She's a princess, man! I would even trade Jennie for your fianceé but I'm broke. And I love Jennie so..." He looked away.
"Okay..." Was all I could say.
"I was saying that you'd rather pick Lisa rather than Eunha because a normal decent man would do that. Blind people like you will choose Eunha. But you're a decent man, Jungkook. Keep at it. Prove it." Taehyung said.
"You're extra talkative today that I want to rip your larynx off." I threatened him.
He let out a nervous laugh, "I need my larynx to slurp juice. And I'm buying two in the cafeteria right now. One for you and one for me. Be right back!" He reasoned out and dashed out of the room.
I sighed and tried to analyze what Taehyung just said.
Lisa...
She's way too far for me to handle. She doesn't seem like she loves me. It's more like she wants me. And I don't like her attitude, at all.
She's complicated, mean, bossy, and too straight forward.
The only thing I like about her is how sexy her intelligence is and of course, her body. Also, I wouldn't deny that she looks stunning to me.
But compared to Eunha, she's more resilient, understanding, and down to earth. She's perfect to me.
While Lisa is just... ideal, I guess.
But still, I did something wrong to her. To a woman.
I have to make it up to her before she tries another trick against Eunha and me again.
I have to build a barrier and make things clearer for her to keep her distance.
Lisa
The next day...
"Oh my gosh! Your hair is black!" Rosé immediately welcomed me by the door step of our classroom.
"So you spent all day yesterday to fix your hair?" Jisoo chuckled, referring to my absence yesterday.
I shrugged my shoulders as everyone is staring at me. I looked around and saw Jungkook's seat is still empty.
I smirked and sat on my chair beside his. I'm sure he's already on his way to trample me.
Because of what I did.
Just as my mind is all over him, he finally appeared by the door step, glaring deeply at me like he wanted to punch me.
I tilted my head and waved at him, "Goodmorning, babe!"
The other students looked at us but Jungkook seemed too focused on me and walked towards me.
He grabbed my wrist, "Come with me. Let's talk."
I just let him drag me towards the rooftop, locking the door behind him and pushing me away from him.
I crossed my arms, "Are you gonna kill me now, Jeon?"
I heard him sigh, "If only I have a knife in my hands, I would."
"You can choke me to death." I spread my arms, offering my body as I giggle in victory.
He just glared at me and clenched his fist. Probably trying to control his temper before he commits murder.
"What? Can't talk? Poor Kookie bit his tongue? Does your boo boo hurt?" I tilted my head and pouted, teasing him.
"Don't call me that." He glared.
I scoffed, "Then what did I came here for? For you to glare at me until I beg on my knees for forgiveness?"
"Will you?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"I'm not pathetic like you. Move aside, I'm going back—"
"You're not going anywhere." He held my arm and pushed me back rather hard.
"Then speak to me! Geez, that fucking hurts! I already told you not to hold me like that!" I glared at him.
"And I also told you to keep Eunha away from all this." He glared back.
I smirked, "You love her, right? People whom you love makes you happy, right?"
He furrowed his brows in confusion, "Stop being jealous."
I chuckled, "Jealousy is for pathetic people like you. I just merely don't want everyone I hate to be happy. And it's fun looking at your angry face right now."
"But what you did to her for that stupid reason is not an excuse!" He yelled.
I smirked, "She deserves it."
"You kicked her family out of their business lot. You bought the space, Lisa. That's her family's livelihood!" Jungkook clenched his jaw.
"Do you wanna buy it from me, then? It'll be four times higher from the exact price." I tilted my head giggling.
"What is your problem? Just leave me alone. Leave Eunha alone! Isn't that too much to ask?" He growled at me.
"Yes, it is. Especially when you're asking that from your own fianceé." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"You know this marriage contract isn't gonna last. So stop pestering me." He glared.
I scoffed, "But I'm gonna make sure it'll last. I'm gonna make sure you'll get stuck with me for the rest of your life."
"Then hurt me! Not Eunha! Not her family! Just hurt me. Revenge on me for whatever I did to you last night." He lowered his head.
I raised an eyebrow, "Whatever you did?"
I took a step forward and leaned closer to him, "We made love four times. Well, at least for you it was love making. For me it was torture. Because you kept mentioning that girl over and over while your fucking sick is inside me."
He looked away, "What do you expect? I don't love you."
I bit my lips and clenched my fist, "WHY?!"
"Why can't you let go of her and focus on me?! I'm your fianceé! That girl trampled me over and over and what?! You're still on her side! I am a princess while she's not! What's not enough of me, Jungkook?! I have everything I can offer to you! Just forget her and choose me! What's stopping you? What does she have that I don't?!" I landed weak punches on his chest as I yelled at him.
He looked down at me apologetically. I promised myself not to cry for anyone. Because that's me. I don't feel anything for others and for myself.
So I held my tears in and looked at him.
"You're an amazing woman, Lisa. But you're not her."
I slowly let go of him and pulled away. So that's what this is? He loves her that much?
I glared at him, "You will never end up with someone like her. I'll make sure of that. Even if that means turning me into a criminal."
And I left.
I stomped my feet and went to Elite B classroom. I stormed in, not caring if people are looking at me. I searched for him.
"Lisa?" Mingyu appeared just behind me.
"Whoa, nice hair—"
"Let's talk." I grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him towards the storage room.
"Whoa, chill!" He chuckled as I locked the door and faced him.
"This is a pretty tricky place you picked for a quickie." He suddenly groped my waist and pulled me closer to him.
I sighed on rolled my eyes, "I'm not here for that!" I squatted his hands away.
"Geez, okay woman! Then why did you drag me here?" He finally turned serious and leaned on the wall.
"I want Eunha out of this school, completely. Can you do that for me?" I asked him.
"You have that sharp looking friend of yours whose parents own this academy. Why don't you just ask her?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Jisoo is not that kind of person. And we're not even that close. I wouldn't be coming to you if I planned on talking it out to Jisoo." I spat.
He scoffed, "You know I'm a guy, right? I'm a man and I only mess with my own kind. Eunha is out of the list."
I rolled my eyes, "If you mess with Eunha, you mess with Jungkook. Isn't that what you want? What we want?"
"Look, Princess. I'm really confused at how desperate you look right now. The jealousy is getting you really good." He chuckled.
I clenched my fist and sighed, "I am not jealous, Mingyu. Just do as I say."
"What's in it for me?" He tilted his head.
I looked away, "We'll figure it out after you do it. And it only depends on how good you did."
I heard him scoff, "Now I'm worked up."
He suddenly took a step forward and grabbed my chin, tilting my face up to meet his eyes.
"Your wish is my command."
