I was in my room looking at a picture of my family before the war, and I was thinking about Joey and what he would have done to save Reach and some of our military bases along with the civilians. As he was, Miranda walked up to him.

Miranda: Cross, the others are waiting for us time to go... 

Cross:....

Miranda: Sweetie, what's wrong?

Cross: .. Jorge, Emile, kat, Carter before all that joey... so many soldiers are gone...

Miranda: reglue people won't understand sometime in war its hard to be the one to survive...

Cross: That's what worries about me...

Miranda: What do you mean?

Cross: i think I saw the Arizona on reach...

Miranda: That's cant be she sunk during ww2?

Cross: i know, but i know what i saw...

Miranda: Have you reported it?

Cross: No, i haven't they would think im crazy...

Miranda: Well, we have to report in come one.

Cross: okay lets go.

as they went to the command room to see the master chief, Johnson, Keyes, and hood

Hood: Noble six would you like to explain why you haven't given your action report?

Cross: Sir, it would be better for me to tell you in person.

Keyes: And why is that?

Cross: sir on August 30, 2552  I was assigned to  to a spartan team known as Noble team and when we were cornered, out gun or ambushed someone or something took them out and they vanished also when we were evacuated all military i thought i saw a vortex and what came out was the us Arizona with a massive fleet.

Keyes: Are you sure that you saw that ship? i mean, the Arizona sunk during World War 2. that was what 600

Cross: 611, sir..

Chief: Who was the captain of that ship?

Cross; my brother, sir..

Hood: Tell us about him cross.

Cross: joey was a man of focus, a great mind when it came to combat and warfare.. you think Chief and i are deadly soldiers ... my brother was the one who showed no mercy to his enemy, and he his a giant.

Chief: Giant, how big are we talking about?

Cross: 12 feet tall. 

Keyes looked into the old files about cross's brother.

Keyes: his right.. but reports have  him killed in action..

Cross: he went down his ship when that bomb hit. Instead of abandoning the ship, he tried to save his crew as much as he could..

Hood looks at the others, and they had the same worry what the cross had reported.

Hood: Noble six, we think it's best you see one of the doctors due to you losing your entire team on reach.

  Cross: i know what i saw, sir..

Chief: Have you seen the doctors?

Cross: no sir i was sill processing what i saw...

Hood: You need to see a doctor cross. we need you out in the field in a clear mind.

Cross: Yes, sir. 

cross saluted to them and went to see the doctor as he was reports came in that a covenant fleet was destroyed and pushed out of reach.

Dr. Halsey: Noble six come in. i  am expecting you to come have a seat 

cross took his seat, and she started the test. as she was, she saw that my mind was in the green.

Halsey: My daughter  is worried about you..

Cross: i wonder how she ends up with me sometimes... 

Halsey: i wonder that too.. tell me, have you still had the dreams about your brothers death.

Cross: i do. i could  hear  the fighters  attack  the ships military  and civilian were targeted. Like Oklahoma, California, Tennessee, West Virginia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Utah... but the one ship that haunts me the most  is the Arizona

Halsey: That's  the ship your brother  was on?

Cross: Yes, I wanted  to go with him, but he told me that I had to go to start  my training as an officer.

Halsey: Could  you  have saved  him if you went him that day?

Cross: Maybe, but he would have gotten  me off first  like he did with his crew.

Halsey: he sounds  like a good man

Cross: the best, that's why I joined  the unsc to honor  him and his crew  that had fallen during  the attack.

Halsey: I see that you are okay, but I am giving  you your own ai

Then Halsey  pressed something, and it shows  a woman

???Hello, noble six. I am Sarah.

Cross: weapon?

Halsey: She likes cortana but more..energy.

Cross: Right, so am I free to go?

Halsey: You are in will give. My report  to john and tell him that you are cleared  for active  duty

Cross walks out of the room as he did Sarah started  to talk

Sarah: You are a silent one, aren't  you.

Cross: Sarah, i have a lot on my mind.

Sarah: Like, what?

Cross: i saw a ghost  on reach. Wait, can you access the camera around reach?

Sarah: Yes, I can. Why?

Cross: Show me the last 36 hours  before  we leave reach.

Sarah: Funny, you asked  that.i see the covenant  forces are destroyed and gone.

Cross: Someone  is still out there

Sarah: Not only that, i see a lot of ships.. old ship dated  back to..1794  to 2039.

Cross: Get all you can. i am going  to show  this to Hood and the others.

Sarah: Cross if joey is alive, he would  be in that fleet.

Cross: Don't  say that i can't  have that thought in my head.

Cross walks to talk to Hood as he was he see John and blue  team along  with silver  team

Cross: Where are you going?

John: we are heading  back to reach. Naval intelligence told us that the covenant  fleet  that was on reach went dark, so they wanted us to investigate it.

Cross: Can i tag along?

John: Sure, I need someone leading a silver  team. Anyway

Cross: Sure, chief

John: All right, let's move.
