With wings of shimmering white
Ego blinds his sight

Arrogance consumes
He scoffs at heaven’s decree
Anguish starts to bloom

Cast down from the skies

His once radiant wings burnt
Pride's flame cannot hide

Now a shadowed form
Lost in the depths of despair
Repenting his scorn
