He hummed softly, not wanting to respond with something deprecating. The self-deprecation, though, was seeming less and less genuine with every passing day. Especially when Jungkook lifted his moods and improved his work, when Jungkook made more than just their evenings together better.

Jungkook made his life, overall, better. As he did for Jungkook.

So maybe he did deserve it. Deserve happiness after destruction.
