Obviously, Greg did not expect his reunion with his little sister and little brothers in the least than two weeks to be hell. To end up losing the triplets in the forest within and out of the borders twice was nerve-wracking for the entire family. To do a wolf hunt on them in the dense forest for a week. Then, to take care of them not that he minded, after helping out to find them through the thick forest of their territory because of some mad mercenaries that invade the school and the forest making a dozen of injured werewolves from all packs.

Thank god, there's so many that were brave enough to push the firearms the silver bullet that could burn and liquified any organ of a werewolf because it was the reaction caused when the silver bullet did when piercing the skin.

The fire alarm pushed most of the students of the high school to be outside and far away as the first gunshot resonated in the school area. Students, the older ones were already mid-shifting into their wolf form to slow them down from making more victims. A memorial would be set at the school, it was the first time but the leaders and the school administration had already determined that it was necessary. No one died but many sustained for life scars and injuries that would never be able to erase and the memories of this attack put everyone on the edge. Four and five days, a few missing students with Ralph and Kenden were found in a cabin sustaining major wounds and blood loss, alive and patch as much as they could. It took a week to find his baby sister and brother.

A speech was made by the four Alphas and their respective Betas after the first rescue to the cabin with the pile of dead bodies that keep accumulating. They knew it was a planned hit well set up and they were still trying to found the Ward kids. They issued a first formal speech of the event and the following process that will be given. During the last week, the secret hospital was buzzing of noises to take care of these students and warriors standing there as guards, werecops questioning the students to piece out how it happens and what happened.

Greg, the rest of Ward kids, their cousins Cristian and Mark, future Alpha Jimmy, Medhi and Alex were one unit of the search team on his younger siblings. They were called back by Marco who explained a plan to find them. Their cousins had to help their Pack and be dispatch somewhere else, only Alex was staying. They wanted to start doing a search to evaluate how many mercenaries were out there alive and dead. Multiple warriors from other Packs were lend ti them as Alpha Rowan refused to spend his men and women. For him, it was some nonsense this nonsense for him and tried to direct them on other duties that needed to be done (other people could be doing it and everyone was ready to do overtime to find the missing students). Alpha Woody kept trying to put a stick in the wheel for the next fifty-hours before Beta Ward raged out at the Alpha and asking:

"Marco, I trust you, launch the plan that you have. Just get my kids back home alive!"

Marco tested the grounds as he scattered teams of warriors around the forest.

"We are assuming that we need to cover the entire forest to find them and any mercenaries. We don't have any idea of how many they are. They are deadly so be careful. Stay safe and be home soon."

Within four hours, the first teams of warriors found the first dead bodies left there. Seeing that progress over three days while they were trekking, Jonathan muttered about the cabin at the North - West that may be the solution. They set a few cars, first aid kits and silver case containing antidote. They found the cabin fast and was able to extract most of the missing students, except Kai and Kylan who never arrived at the cabin. They were immediately brought to this particular setup hospital when they were found. Four days, later did they found them very out cold on the verge of dying for Kai, Iann and Seth relayed the news and tried to explain what happens to the other uncle Beta Joseph and their cousins Cristian and Mark from another park, Alex's Pack. They wanted to come and check them up but the two brothers explained that it was still chaos over the territory, as parents were harassing their leaders and the medical grounds to know how they were and what happens to gain information. Plus, Kai couldn't be overwhelmed too much as all of the siblings were stationed in the triplets' room.

Greg could only remember just hours before this mess, how Oliver was for a moment so mad for losing this amulet to mask his scent as a tracker. It usually amplified for the person and rare that it works on anyone else than the owner of the amulet but apparently Marco, Jonathan, the warriors and the experts on the investigation who saw the damm amulet around his sister's neck mentioned that it probably what kept her alive and her siblings from being found so quickly. They would need their statements to confirm that hypothesis. On the other hand, because the other survivors that went in that forest where attack sooner within the first hour and more than one time had to kill to survive. That amulet symbol of Oliver's wolf form surround by the Moon on each side of the wolf was probably amplified by her bloodline and or relation of being Oliver's sister that slowed the mercenaries to find her so quickly thus giving a better chance of survival.

He sighed loudly, it's been seventy hours since they found them and the missing students. Sixty-two hours, they were taking in charge by the medical staff, Keagen a check-up and a sedative and a few scans and small surgery, Kylan was the less physically damage but he was still given a check-up, as they believe he may have a cold, lack of nutrient and dehydrated and lastly Kai was horrible to see physically she seemed to have got beat up, had wounds, bruises, abrasions everyone, not a stretch of skin seem unaffected, they had to give her antidote and a few surgeries. Forty-eight hours, Keagen and Kylan were confirmed to be well in the current circumstances, compared to their sister Kai and on bedrest, observation night but they were going to get out of this place with no physical scars. As for their mental, it was still shaky and a few shrinks sessions will be needed. For now, it was family time. They were given a room big enough to accommodate the entire family and have the triplets on hospital beds in the same room. The privilege of being Beta. The boys were sleeping but their parents had been given the privacy to check and sit next to their sons while the siblings take care of alerting their family, Greg to take a bit of the work of his father, eat, shower, change and sleep a bit. Forty hours, Kai was finally joining Kylan and Keagen in the room. Now they were waiting, just between siblings.

The doctors were outside taking care of the new patients, the missing students injured, seven, all seniors; four from their Pack, one from Medhi's and one from Jimmy's; yelling orders and dispatching the staff to the patients. While his brother Keagen, who was awake since a couple of hours, he was dehydrated, lack of nutrient, a bit cold, grazes and bruises, he had been patch up in that cabin from a poisonous wound. The doctor who examined him said that whoever did the job did good and the one who gave him the antidote knew what kind of poison it was because the antidote takes days to develop and the poison takes merrily a couple of hours before sending the creature to death.

Keagen shooked by the news wanted to explain to them what happens. How they run and tried to question their sister who was going through the deep of the forest, telling them not to shift, not to send any mental message, to block all connections and minds, to shut it and follow her lead if they didn't want to end up dead and choose to keep following her. How as the night, passed they were ambush a few times and they had to kill shape-shifters wolves. They were ambushed by three people and they had to kill to survive. How Kai had carved on the back of each werewolf and taken all their belongings before asking Kylan and him to help her rolled the bodies in a different direction. She did something with the talkie-walkie but he had no idea what she did. They slept cuddle with a small blanket that they found from all the personal belongings of these dead werewolves and apparently other blankets from a few trees that were spotted but each time, she would leave everything in those carve hidden places. On the third day, all hell broke loose. Again ambushed twice that day and he was injected with a needle something and according to Kylan, he started trashing, violent and delirious, but still, have his mind clear but his limbs not responding to him. How he was given a shot of the "antidote" by his sister while Kylan was holding him down, both not knowing what she was babbling about 'death or amputated'; now he knew and shuddered as he recalled out loud the event. How they had a huge fight, leaving his sister crying as she openly thrust ball of energy toward him through their sibling bond. Commanding him, to continue to the North and get help in a cabin. Reaching there, after two days, it was a trap because no one wanted to help Kylan and Kai, it's not that they didn't want, they couldn't, apparently. They said they were on their own and it was too risky. How they treated him medically and explained that they had to wait for the search people to find them or else everyone could get killed.

Greg remembered how his little brother Keagen had a nightmare earlier, ever since he tried to sleep in the hospital room, frantically calling Kai and Kylan, mainly but also their names. It was heartbreaking! He would let his gaze on them, he was worried for Kylan and Kai, Kai was in between them, Kylan had briefly woke up ordering them as he got trembling and agitated to move her between Keagen and him. It got worse, especially when Keagen learned that one of the wounds of Kai was subject to injecting the same poison and she didn't have the antidote for poison as she had previously given to him. The doctors had not done any amputation, Addryen who was visiting every patient had heard them and said she been building immunization from it, it was not perfect, and she still needed the antidote, but she had a better tolerance and won't die as an average werewolf.

On the other hand, Kylan was a mess, the bond between the triplets Ward had been in danger and they could emotionally and physically feel the repercussion of the fragile bond. Doctors were concerned that Kylan had seen more than Keagen and might be PSTD, the event seemed to have traumatized him a lot, Kylan was worried that he lost one of them. Hell Kylan and Keagen were both worried about losing their little sister who had still not woke up and was now sleeping in the same hospital room than her brothers after a few surgeries to pump out the poison and repaired the damage.

The rest of their siblings were staying in the room rarely leaving it all at once doing rotation instead to make sure there were there to comfort their younger siblings. He could hear the doctors and Kai's friend Marco and Jonathan? He wasn't sure of their name but he knew that they were often checking on her and their other friends who sustained wounds and were in the hospital until they were healthy enough to be released. Classes were obviously cancelled because of this attack and since one of the prisoners (one of the few mercenaries alive, found by the team of warriors) telling them with no shame that it wouldn't be the last attack on them. The Pack emergency similar to the State Emergency for the human species was set on the four Packs, the school was closed, border reinforced in all Packs, lockdown on some very public place, recommendation to stay in their home and not go out if not necessary. Shops, grocery stores and places like civilian task forces buildings, stations, hospital and basic places that needed to stay open were heavily guarded Warriors were armed and all ready to defend their Pack members, patrolling the in the street twenty-four/seven until a new order override this command.

"How did we come to this, we were fine, it was just a normal school day and damm Kai's eyes suddenly changed, like they snap when she saw him, Jon, who I don't know how he entered the school as he is no longer a student. I saw him pulling her in a corner and my instincts were telling me to follow her. Fuck, you should have seen her eyes, they, fuck, were pure fear and then I could hear him telling her to run and go to the North and never looked back. To keep running and she was not moving and Jon was just shaking her right to left and fuck," Kylan couldn't stop swearing as Keagen awake and their older brothers were listening to this. "Jonathan was practically shaking her so hard and griping her arm so hard, I thought he would bruise her. And then, we heard the fire alarm ring, she snapped her eyes somewhere for a second and then she gazed to Jon and then walked quickly pushing people. I just decided to follow her, my instincts were telling you got to follow her, she needs you, you got to follow her, you know. We ended in the forest and then Keagen told you what happen and then when he left I was like, okay why don't we move, following him, and she said. I'm one of their targets, we are going in another direction then the North. So we walk, we were ambushed but I don't know where Kai finds the strength to do this, I never saw it in the training session, but she just killed them with no mercy, all her human force, I was battling one in my wolf form but she just goes offensive on him. We just encounter men and women. I was horrified that she just kill them." Kylan sighed exhaustedly as he let his eyes stared at his sister's face, still sleeping, not yet in a coma. "So what about you, where were you? What happen?"

Their parents were out talking to the different doctors and nurse that took care of her and operated her. Then their father had to leave because he was still on duty as a Beta to organize the pack and what was the next step for the pack sake but also for someone hurting his daughter. Their father could only delve into work while his daughter was unconscious in the hospital bed and none of them, the siblings, we're going to move from her until she woke up. Their father had pulled his rank and influence to have his children exempt from joining patrols and be part of the lockdown. Greg got the confirmation by his father that there's was a fear that still lingered that people would try to enter and finish the job, so it was better that they stayed as they were the best fit to defend. The six siblings could only listen to Kylan explaining what happened and since Keagen had only joined them outside later joking around, now Keagen was feeling bad because if he didn't joke, maybe their sister wouldn't lose too many precious seconds to move away in safety. Keagen was feeling guilty but wide awake to hear the tale from his brother, Greg could see how it was forcing himself to listen to their brother Kylan who only sustained cuts and a few bruises physically. He had moved through his tale to sit next to their sister and Keagen with the help of Seth and Dante was on the other side of the bed which was a small bed one place. Not much space but both brothers seemed adamant to be near her to touch and let their wolves know that their sister wolf was okay. He was about to lay next to his sister, pulling a bit on him so Keagen had more space to sit as Kylan was playing her hair this time not pulling his to tease her out like when they were younger.

"It's none of your fault, guys, it's these mercenaries that were out there to do damage and hurt you. You did good into protecting her," Greg said firmly trying to reassure the triplets that no one was blaming them at all for what happened.

"He's right," Dante said," Iann and I were at school in class when the evacuation happened and when we got out, we were instructed to help the students to regroup and do a head count as we were older with the others of our grade. When the first gunshot happens, everyone got silent waiting for anyone to tell the next instruction. It was pure chaos, we thought you were safe out of the school and it took hours before any good information came up. The parents were searching for their children and thankfully most of them found each other. Then, the first wounded victims that stay in school were found in a horrible state. They were the ones who slow those people who we now know they are mercenaries, most of them of dead or made prisoners. It was pretty late when the first unis of warriors were able to enter the school and clear level by level. They found dozens of bodies and the students who were trying to hold them off were scattered around the school. They had a hard time evacuating them in a safer zone," Dante stare and breathed remembering the faces of his friends completely covered of slashed and blood as they were pushed out to the nearest ambulance.

Iann took over: "God when mom came yelling crazy at us that she couldn't find nor smell any of you, around sixteen hours. We started to panic and dad was doing his Beta duty trying to gain any knowledge and dammit no one had answers and evacuation was so disorganized with the several shots, cries and screams we heard from the school. The chaos that reign slows us down to begin a searching party for you. The headcount was done but some were officially missing including you three. Kai's friends Addryen and Marco had affirmed themselves as leaders, directing and gaining the attention of everyone. They had taken the control of the situation and where directing firmly the parents to back the hell up - he shook his head at the memory - never thought he would tell them to back or else one of their children was going to die and they just freaking listen. Marco asked them to silence and so we could clearly hear the gunshots and while it goes, Marco and Addryen were calling parents and students. Then, Addryen stopped suddenly and jumped and transform in mid-air before attacking someone that we all thought was a parent that was trying to sneak to get his child but in reality, it was a mercenary and the fight ensues. Parents were now yelling and wanted to help. everyone heard the cracking bones as Jonathan freaking came and took the damm mercenary and purely demolished the guy. Even if he was in a weak state, Jonathan, received a few hits from the guy, he sent Addryen to the hospital, he was poison, Jonathan took his place. Marco and Jonathan with now warriors and Deltas of StarLight and MeteorLight reunited parents and students. Jonathan was bloody and dripping blood, but he was also damm stubborn. Those who got all their children were directed to walk to another site where medical attention, food, water and other necessities delivered."

He glanced at his siblings who were gasping at him, they didn't hear that side of the story, and it would take long before an official recount of the event happens. All experiences were mixing-up, and the civilian task force, the warriors and some trackers were already working on the 'Forest Test" investigation now this was falling from the sky. Let's not forget that their sister had predicted that something would happen, the parents were more than angry.

"Apparently, only a handful of Juniors from other Packs that I know was inside helping our Pack to evacuate. Some Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors and a few older that were not students held them off. I don't know all the details from there. It was the night when they were able to evacuate all victims and started counting the dead bodies inside the school. " Dante recounted before looking for Iann to take over which he did after Jamal who added looking at Kylan and Keagen.

"Mom was hysterical and worried, she couldn't understand why you didn't stay nor can't believe why still" Jamal relayed as he remembered everyone being pulled from the training session from the training compound to help out at the school where active shooters and renegades werewolves "mad people" were hurting the students. The worried that transpierced them all when they couldn't find their younger siblings.

"We were searching for you, three, until Marco comes to find us in the forest and he was pulling our father. And he told that you three must have taken the forest. The guy was exhausted, he just saw two of his friends being injured but fuck, he was still standing never stopping to give us order. he was shaking dad, remember," Iann said as he looked at Greg, Jamal, Seth, Dante and Oliver who all nodded remembering, "telling him 'you got to convince the Alpha from letting us rescue your daughter and your sons and the missing students. We need to begin a wolf hunt and count the dead bodies, kill or make prisoners any mercenaries that run in the forest. We have a lot to cover."

He added.

"Marco just guides us to at the bottom of the forest, the same spot where you begin your test. Alpha Rowan was saying that he wasn't going to spare any of his warriors for the children, they knew better and will come back later. Dad loses it after Alex, Jimmy and Mehdi step in with a set of warriors from their respective Pack, saying that if he was just going to leave them dying, then let the other Packs do something for them. Alpha Rowan grumbled but Dad loses it and rages out at him, never thought it would be happening, Iann shook his head,

"It was about time," Seth cut in.

"Equipment was being set to try to found you all alive before it was too late. The first team of warriors send to find you reach dead bodies of mercenaries. GA-ME-ON was spell into syllable cut with a penknife on the back of these people. The next hours, we found more bodies but no trace of you or the missing students. Until Jonathan told Marco about a cabin. You heard the rest."

Kylan and Keagen nodded faintly as they were dozing off next to their sister leaving the six brothers pulled chair nearer the bed and looked at them as they sleep.

"Hey," a female voice said as she entered the hospital room

"Nancy," Jamal exclaimed happily to her as he stood up to greet her getting raised eyebrows around the room.

"Came to see how you guys were doing, I heard she was still.."

A commotion was heard as medics came here, nurses men and women pushing the brothers and Nancy out of the room. Or at least try to push Dante, Oliver and Greg.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY, SECURITY! MEDIC!" Marco growled quickly pushing the girl.

"Move the boys, I need you to evacuate the three patients in isolation, right now, they are being poisoned," he ordered as two males nurses and three female nurses took care of Kylan and Keagen. "MOVE!" he barked off, pushing them out of the way." Alex, mouth to mouth, Jimmy and Mehdi on each side, I do the compression, someone rolled out of here," as the guys climbed on the bed. "Get them to a decontamination room, they may be poison too, and checked Keagen and Kylan status."

Two additional male nurses entered to give a hand as they push the hospital bed as Marco yelled "NOW!". He started doing the compression, Alex breathed in her mouth, Jimmy and Mehdi biting her giving her energy and their protection to Kai which slows that the poison because the venom of an Alpha heritage can protect the health of the concern shape-shifter wolf or creature.

It was a special bite that usually stayed until it's deemed safe to disappear, the werewolf planted his two canines full of venom in the neck of the creature or person to inject through tiny holes within the canine the venom inside her body so that it can spread quickly in her blood vessels, muscles, tissues and skin. The protection of an Alpha doesn't overrule the mate bond, it's more of a blessing of protection, that a rank werewolf can apply, usually, parents do this to their children, siblings, friends, protectors designed to protect certain people. The protection depended on the rank of the werewolf and the relation between the two werewolves, the giver and the receiver. For example, a mate can give a mark of love on the shoulder but would be able to give a mark of protection on the neck, but it is doesn't appear like a hickey, a bruise on the skin from the sucking. In fact, the mark of protection is symbolized by the venom who acted like an ink on the skin. Some people who are very vulnerable or that it's a tradition in the family can have multiple symbols of protection covering her neck, for the first days, the mark is visible unless the werewolf who mark make it invisible by the control of his venom, which happens within the family tradition. Sometimes, the protection needed to be reapplied like a renewal thing if the mark of protection had to react to a threat.

The quick action of Marco ensured her safety, Addryen supported by Kenden and Phil was looking at the isolation room, as doctors and nurses started working on her to drain the poison and clear the air. Marco shortly left not before telling them, that the usual mark of protection had faded and needed to be reapplied. Alex stood with her while the medical team fussed around her, refusing to stand aside as he held her hand.

Jonathan barged inside with Addryen, Phil, Kenden, Matt and Ralph. They pulled down the canvas awning. As they stood looking at the paler colour of her skin, wondering how a poisonous perfume entered the room.

"Do we wait for Marco?"

"We should, linking mark of protection had always worked out. Did Jimmy and Mehdi completed it?"

"No, they did the basic protection but they wanted to add more and so do I," Alex declared. " They went to inquire themselves of what happens and how that girl burst in the hospital. They will let my father know but I want to add my people on the security so we will sneak them in tonight if our father hasn't discussed diplomatically with Alpha Rowan."

"Thanks a lot, we appreciate all your help from you, Jimmy, Medhi. It's a lot but we don't have a lot of support and I feel we are going to be attacked tomorrow and the next days not catching any break. Just hoping we can live for Christmas and New Year." Matt gave a raspy chuckle, adding sarcastically. " It's like the wish of the year."

It wasn't an isolation room more another hospital room far from the other patients. They didn't wait long before Marco, Jimmy and Mehdi came back with the news that security let her in, Nancy because she was Jamal's girlfriend, but more investigation would be made as she was the one wearing the poisonous perfume. The Alphas and the Betas had been told of the incident and now they were discussing with Alpha Rowan convincing to have more security around Kai, but he was saying that security needed to be on the other patients not just her and that he was grateful for their help but hey didn't need it and Kai was still in his Pack. When Mehdi and Jimmy were leaving, Alex's father was arguing with Kai's uncle, the Beta ShootingLightning, that it was their secret hospital in their territory.

"Go Marco and Addryen, you both are still exhausted, " Alex lead them on the lining up and shook his head, sighing," Marco, you need a decent sleep, you have done enough, Jimmy and Mehdi, we will stay around and keep an eye." Then, Jimmy and Mehdi, so you can go back out there figuring what else they found and if everyone or anyone was decontaminated." they nodded agreeing to the plan," you guys do your thing, and I'll go last."
