3 - Ooh, Look! Time To Get Ready To See Your Future Husband/Wife!!
Aiden was trapped. There was no escaping.
Not when Nikita insisted on styling your wardrobe. Impossible.
The girl was with her twin and was currently trying to get Aiden's hair... somewhere. Nikita held out her hand towards Sheela and said, "Hair gel spray.". Sheela scoured the many supplies on the table and handed her twin a spray bottle. "Close your eyes," Nikita demanded. Aiden scrunched his eyes closed. He had once experienced the feeling of Nikita's special hair gel in his eyes, and it burned like the fire that demolished Kalafleshia.
Nikita started tugging on his hair and spraying the cold substance on his hair. Tug, tug, spray, tug, tug, spray.
And then she shook his hair out with her hands. Which seemed to have messed everything up. But this is Nikita.
"Open your eyes," Nikita said. Aiden opened his eyes to look at himself in the mirror in front of him.
His hair was messy, but in a good way. There was no other way to describe it.
Aiden reached up to touch the masterpiece on his head, but Nikita slapped his hand away. "What are you doing!" She scolded. And just when she about to start lecturing him on the time and effort it took to make his hair look good, someone knocked on the door. 10 times.
Aiden sighed. He knew exactly who was at the door. He'd rather take the lecture any day.
"Yes?" Sheela asked. "Cuz! Open the door already!" Rudy called from the other side. Aiden looked at both the twins and shook his hand at his neck. Nikita face-palmed and called out "He's... sleeping!".
"Oh. Wake him up then!" Rudy said. Aiden shook his head frantically. Nikita glared at him and his hair. Apparently, he was messing it up just by shaking his head.
"He's very... cranky when he wakes up early," Sheela volunteered. She looked apologetically at Aiden. "Don't care! I wanna see my little cousin!" Rudy demanded. Aiden rolled his eyes and stood up. He opened the door.
"Whoa cuz, that is a serious case of bed hair!" Rudy commented.
If you didn't already know, Rudy's sense of fashion was comparable to a snail's. Actually, that's offensive to the snail.
Aiden, knowing this, ducked. Rudy looked at him weird, until a rose vine punched him in the face. With thorns. Rudy was on the floor, a lot of thorns punctured in his face. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" He whined. "That's what you get for bad-mouthing my work," Nikita said, her skin glinting in the sunlight as she stepped into the hallway. Sheela stepped out beside her. Aiden stood up.
"I thought you were sleeping! And I thought there was one of you!" Rudy complained. "It's 12 o' clock, Rudy. Use your common sense," Aiden rolled his eyes. "We're twins," Sheela said. Both their voices sounded similar. Nikita raised the rose thorns out of Rudy's face. Rudy scrambled up to his feet and slung an arm over Aiden's shoulders.
"Congratulations! You got a girl!" Rudy said, clapping a hand on his back. "Not by choice," Aiden grumbled. He was meeting the "lucky girl" today. Her name was Arundhati Shah, and she was arriving with her sister at around 11:30.
"I've already got your outfit ready and everything, so stay right here and let me get it," Nikita demanded and she and Sheela set off to the tailor's section.
"Aiden, tell me 'bout the girl!" Rudy said. "Some nobleman's daughter from my dad's council. Name is Arundhati Shah. A year younger than me. Has an older sister. Talented. That's all I know," Aiden explained.
His mother had look so excited when she had brought it up at dinner, and Aiden couldn't argue with her. It was the first time she had truly seemed like she had done something good for Aiden, and he couldn't bring himself to ruin it.
"Well, I'm going to be there when you meet her, so..." Rudy said. Aiden sighed. There was no breaking off the marriage even if they could. The whole kingdom already knew. It would look bad for the royal family and the noble family.
"We have the clothes!" Sheela called. Nikita trailed behind her, carrying a folded gray suit. "Wear this, we'll be in the Ball Room with the Queen,". Aiden nodded, but then Rudy bumped into him and whispered, "Why is the kid staring at me like that?".
Sheela was staring at Rudy. Her eyes were clouded, her head was slightly tilted, and a grin was slowly creeping onto her face. Aiden bit his lip to keep his own grin from growing. He shot Nikita a look that said Give me all the blackmail later. "No idea, but... I think I'll introduce you to Mini later..." He said, and then Aiden went back into his room to change.
He came out a minute later, trying to get his tie right. Nikita, Sheela, and Rudy were gone, probably at the Ball Room by now. "How do people do this properly?" He muttered, trying again. Maybe Queen Malini could help him.
He quickly ran to the Ball Room to find that, everyone, including the Queen, the King, the chefs, the stableboys, the stable girls, the inventors, the servants, the maids, the dukes, the families of the dukes, along with every royal family member related to Aiden, the Apsaras, the Raksashi, the Yakshas, the guards, the generals of the army, the families of the generals, a couple soldiers and their families, and many others, were all packed into the enormous Ball Room.
Aiden turned the other way.
Maybe someone else could help him.

Aru was saying her good-byes, when Suyodhana pulled her and Kara to the side for a "Father-Daughters Conversation", or so, that's what Krithika P. Shah thought.
I've discussed this with the organization. We have a plan to use this as an advantage and an opportunity," Their father started. Kara raised her eyebrows in expectation, and Aru looked at him in interest. "Sit down. I'll explain it all,". The sisters sat down at the dining table.
"We can hit the heart of the monarchy and stop their tyranny easily with this mission. We can have control over the whole Otherworld, if you both can complete this,"
"What's the objective?" Kara asked.
"Assassinate Prince Aiden,"
"WHAT!" Both sisters shouted in unison. Suyodhana glared at them, glancing at the door. The sisters got the message.
"I thought we didn't do that type of stuff!" Aru whisper yelled.
"You've done assassinations before, it's not that different,"
"It is very different! Those times, we knocked the target out and brought them to base! And it wasn't a very important political figure! We also weren't the ones assassinating!" Kara argued.
"Let me finish! If you listen to the whole plan, then you'll be able to judge!" Suyodhana paused, waiting for objections from his daughters, but there were none. "Thank you,"
"Okay, so, Aru's going to stay in the castle, and she's going to have to have communication systems. I trust you've already figured out your part, Aru."
Aru nodded and said "Get info and leverage. Strike points, dates, as soon as I can,"
"And I'm the communication system," Kara said.
"You're wrong about one thing Aru. We need to wait until you and the Prince have had the wedding and everything,"
Aru's head snapped towards her father, but then realized "Because I'd be Queen, and I'd have reign over the Otherworld. That makes sense."
"So, it's an undercover mission?" Kara asked. "Exactly," Suyodhana replied "Aru, you're the spy, and Kara, you're the communication point. When time is right, Aru, you'll have to kill him. The organization will take care of the rest,".
Aru glanced at Kara, who looked at Aru. They had a silent conversation with their eyes.
What do you think?
If we weigh out all the options, I think it's going to work out.
I mean, same, but I don't want to, you know, kill the guy
It'll be fine. For the sake of peace and democracy at least. I hope.
"We'll do it." The sisters said in unison. Suyodhana nodded and said "Well, then you better get ready! Kara, you're going with Aru for the introduction!".
Aru's sister's eyes widened, and then she dashed upstairs, Aru right behind her.
The whole time, Aru was wondering How will this mission go?

Here it is! Third chapter! And I have managed to make this work in the time frame! Woohoo!
