--- he's considered to be a 'bully' to everyone, including the Losers' Club because of he always gets mad for no reason and sometimes even gets into a fight. But he's not as worse as the Bowers gang. He never gets physical with anyone in school except for fights if they annoyed him or make him mad. He also tormented some juniors for getting into his way (and also making him mad) but it was months ago

--- other than that, he does bully people but only the people who are making fun of him for no reason and it's because he thinks they 'deserve it'

--- he's called 'Mad Max' in school due to his anger issues and also getting angry all the time

--- Max doesn't believe the rumors of Beverly because he doesn't like rumors and thinks that any rumors are 'fake', only dumbasses believes them (his words btw)

--- some people thinks that he's in the Bowers gang because he acts like but in reality, he is not and never will because Max hates Henry Bowers and his 'friends'

--- Max is not scared of Henry and he once had a physical fight outside of the school (it's because of Henry). Max won the fight

--- but the only person Max is afraid of (other than Pennywise) is Patrick Hockstetter, that guy gives him the creeps :/

--- a little info about Max, his mother (Diane) died after giving birth to him and his father (Anthony or 'Tony' for short) starts to kind of ignore him for the rest of Max's life but his father does take care of Max when he was a baby, toddler and also starting kindergarten because he doesn't anyone to suspect him to 'abusing' Max. But Tony is abusive (physically) towards Max, only if he misbehaves Tony or making troubles at school. But now Tony is neglecting Max, acting like he doesn't exist because Tony is tired of him but he does not hesitate to be abusive

--- Max 'joins' the Losers' Club (but he prefers as hanging out with them) after standing up to them against the Bowers gang at the outside of the school after school ends (where Bill, Eddie, Richie and Stan thrower out their school supplies. You know that scene). The reason why he wants to hang out with them is because he doesn't have anything to do during summer and also he doesn't want to be stuck in the house with his father

--- before meeting Beverly again at the back of the drug store, he met Beverly for the first time a boy started to sexually harassed her in the in school. Max gets disturbed by it and shoves the boy roughly, causing the boy to fall and ran away because he's afraid of Max due to his reputation

--- he has a soft spot of Beverly because he feels bad for her because of the rumors and how she's treated in school

--- Max's fear is his father abusing him

--- he's a metalhead but he does listen to other genre of music, such as synth pop, pop, rap. And also his favorite synth pop song is West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys
