2 years later...

Knock! Knock!

"Coming! Oh hi, Jungwon! Come inside! Where's the other??" Riwon's mother asked as she gestured to him to go inside.

"They're on their way. Where's Riwon?" He asked Miwon that's sitting on the couch.

"Upstairs"

Riwon was looking into the mirror. Her right hand tried to pull up the zipper at the back but she seems to struggle with it. Suddenly someone helped her as she was shocked to see Jungwon in her room. "Omg, you should knock on the door first"

"Hahaha, I'm sorry. I forgot about that" He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, putting his chin on her shoulder and made her look at the mirror. "You're the prettiest"

"What do you mean.. I'm not the prettiest with all these scars. I should have taken care of myself more" Riwon looked away but Jungwon tilted her head and placed a kiss on her lips.

"Even with the scars, you're still my pretty girlfriend. You're my only Riwon"

"But— I wanted to look pretty and have flawless skin. I want to be a perfect girlfriend and wife for you.. I want to be perfect for our wedding—"

Jungwon shut her mouth by kissing her more. He made her sit on the bed as he kissed her passionately, caressing her hair. His fingers traced along her arms and went down to her thighs. "From head to toe, you're perfect. You're already perfect from the beginning.

But if you still don't want to accept it and are still sad, I will find the best treatment to treat your scars" Jungwon chuckled and he pinched the soft cheeks of his girlfriend.

"Let's go. Everyone must be waiting for us" Riwon blushed and she walked towards the door.

Jungwon followed her but he stopped when he saw the gift he gave to her 2 years ago. He took the pink journal and opened it. "You still keep it and it's already full"

"Of course I still kept it. That's my birthday gift from you" She still remembered he gave it to her on her birthday when she's still in the hospital for treatment.

She was so happy. Inside the journal, there's lots of pictures and polaroid pictures of her. There's a date and a little writing too. Their first date, when he confessed to her, and more activities. She couldn't believe he remembered everything and the dates.

"And I still can't believe you're actually my childhood friend that I always talked about. I felt like we're really destined to meet each other"

Riwon laughed when she remembered how she used to be so jealous of the childhood friend but it's just herself. She's actually Jungwon's first crush and first love. She's going to be his last love too.

She never knew that until one day Jungwon visited her house and noticed the photo frame. When she asked her mother then she found out why she never remembered about Jungwon and them living in Busan before. It's because she once got into an accident and lost her childhood memories.

They went downstairs to see everyone's already here. Riwon went to hug Maya and after that, they started the birthday party.

She's happy to see everyone again after 2 years. The day after everything that happened, lots of things changed. Her parents really changed to be better parents. They already get along with Jungwon's parents.

Few months later, all of them were taking the CSAT and Riwon passed the test with the highest score in Seoul. She got into Seoul National University while Jungwon got into another university.

Maya and Sunghoon went to the same university because they said "even the universe can't separate us" .

Meanwhile Junho decided to take over his family's business.

"Happy birthday, Riwon!"

"Riwon! I'm here!" Jungwon called for her as soon as he got out of his car.

"Gosh, I told you.. you don't have to send me to my class" Riwon pouted but she still got inside the car. Well there's nothing she can do about it.

"I can't let you go alone. What if there's some guy who's trying to get closer to you?"

So, he's worried about that?? "Don't worry, there's no one that's more handsome than my boyfriend. I'm only interested in Yang Jungwon"

Hearing Riwon said that, Jungwon grinned. Finally after years, he gets to beat Kim Seokjin!

He drove Riwon to her university, dropping her off near the entrance but Riwon was a little bit shy when she got out of the car because everyone was looking. How could they not look? Jungwon was driving ferrari!

"Bye!" She waved at him before running.

Jungwon just laughed seeing her little run. He didn't have class for now but he decided to go somewhere. He stopped in front of a florist's shop, buying white roses. Two bouquets of white roses.

Jungwon stared at the grave before placing the white roses. He closed his eyes for a while, praying in his heart for the person to always be happy in the afterlife. Suddenly someone tapped his shoulder and when he turned around, it was just Junho.

"Did you come here after visiting Heeseung?" He asked and placed the same white roses in front of them.

"Hm"

"I see.. uh since you're already here, I will just tell you here" Junho looked nervous.

"What is it?"

"I'm moving to the USA soon. My dad wants me to study more about business before I can fully take over his business."

"Really? I'm happy for you! When is the flight?" Jungwon smiled but he sensed the sadness in Junho.

"Tomorrow. And before I go, I want to tell you something. I want to apologize for everything. I'm really sorry for hurting your girlfriend.. that's not really my intention" He looked down, feeling ashamed.

"Junho, it's all in the past. You don't need to be guilty for your whole life, okay? Riwon already forgives you and I understand, sometimes jealousy can turn into something dangerous. We all saw that from Sera's cases. I forgive you for liking my girlfriend" Jungwon patted Junho's shoulder, before walking away but what Junho said after that made him freeze on his spot.

"But— I don't like Riwon!"

"What..? Then why—"

"I like you! I like you, Jungwon" Junho's eyes created tears, rolling down his cheeks but he quickly wiped them away.

...

"Jungwon! Jungwon, wait for me!"

"Hurry up before they buy all the bread!" Jungwon ran in the corridors, heading to the cafeteria followed by Junho.

"Glad we got one! Let's share it" Junho came with their favourite bread.

They ate together in the school backyard. It's only two of them because they had no friends. They only had each other. Being in school who judged everything was hard. Junho got bullied for being feminine and friendly to the girls while Jungwon got hated because his beauty took all the girl's attention.

"Which high school you're going to next year?" Junho suddenly asked.

"I still haven't made any decisions yet.."

"What if we go to the same highschool!?" Junho asked excitedly.

Jungwon tapped his chin before nodding, "Alright, I'm not planning to separate with you though"

This might be weird but I have a crush on my best friend.

I hate to admit that I find him pretty and handsome as a guy.

My heart fluttered every time he smiled at me.

If I tell him this, what kind of reaction will he give to me? Disgust? Hate?

One day..

Jungwon rushed to the place and he saw Junho crying in the corner. "Junho!"

"Jungwon! My sister! My sister, Jungwon!" Junho cried out loud, gaining people's sympathy.

"Don't worry Junho.. I'm here.." Jungwon hugged him, comforting him.

The day I lost my sister, Jungwon became the only reason for me to keep living in this world.

"Are you crazy?! Why did you do that?!!" A look of disappointment on his face. He was mad and disappointed.

"I don't think I can do this anymore.. I miss her, Jungwon." Junho hugged his knees, sitting on the hospital's bed after failing his attempt.

"What about me? Are you going to leave me then?"

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry.."

Day by day, my feelings for him kept growing. Somehow it turned into an obsession.

But I can't show it.

Entering a new school, I could expect girls were going to go crazy for Jungwon. I tried my best to not let him get a girlfriend by secretly scaring the girls away. Until one day, a girl named Riwon appeared.

"What is she doing.." Junho watched Riwon secretly entering their classroom. He saw her putting a strawberry milk on Jungwon's desk.

"She doesn't look like a threat to me, I will let her go for now"

But that's my mistake. I thought Riwon wouldn't go that far but without me realizing, Jungwon and Riwon were getting closer every day.

I was so jealous, to the point I did something stupid that reminds me of my old bully.

"I heard Jungwon got injured while playing football—"

Someone came to tell them and Riwon was the first person to rush to the nurse's office. Junho was shocked to see the girl getting worried about Jungwon. He's sure Jungwon just got a little injury. He's always clumsy.

He realized he should give up. He should stop doing all of these. No matter how hard he tries, in the end it's a failure. Riwon and Jungwon love each other so much. He had seen them suffering just to be together.

I guess it's time to let you go.

...

"Eh..?" Junho was startled by the sudden hug from Jungwon. He could feel him patting his back softly.

"Thank you for being brave and confessing your feelings to me but I'm sorry, I love her."

"It's okay, I understand. Hahaha! Why am I crying? Gosh, a man shouldn't cry. I gotta go now. See you later maybe..?" Junho smiled at his best friend for the last time before leaving the graveyard.

I don't mind letting you go because I'm happy to see you happy with her.

Sometimes, loving someone doesn't mean you need to own her. Accepting fate and moving on is another action of love too.
