Background: Used to be part of The Flying Graysons act at Haley's Circus but after his parents' death, he was adopted by Bruce Wayne. Became the first Boy Wonder and stayed Robin during Jason's earlier years with them.

Hobbies: Singing, swimming, playing tennis with Jason and Barbara, playing the piano, horse riding, polo and golf player, reading books and watching crime thrillers.

Personality: This is the younger version of Richard Grayson from Shatranj. Just like his older self, he is kind and caring and one of the most adorable versions of Richard I have ever written. I think this might be the youngest portrayal I have of him so far so chances are that it might seem different from how I usually write him. He might not be the mature and responsible elder brother you guys have grown accustomed to seeing in my other fanfics but he's equally lovable in my opinion.

The prominent personality facts about him are as follows:

• The kindest soul to ever exist. Very sweet and caring.

• Extremely polite and a very enthusiastic social butterfly. He is even more liked than Bruce is by the public and Gotham's high society.

• Self-sacrificial to a fault.

• Obedient and understanding. The only adoptive son of Bruce who has never gotten into a fight with him and definitely his favorite too.

• Loves being called a detective in the making.

• Helps Bruce out in his cases. According to Bruce, there's still a lot he has to learn when it comes to being a detective but often his different approach of looking at things helps Bruce get to the bottom of the mystery.

• Terrific sense of humor and it is impossible not to laugh at his jokes. Only Bruce has managed to keep a straight face most of the times.

• Jason looks up to him and is closer to him than he is to Bruce, as he feels Richard is able to understand him and connect with him more.

• Both Jay and Richard go by Robin as their vigilante names so at first it was rather confusing for criminals to differentiate whether there are two Robins or if Batman's sidekick suffers from multiple personality disorder.

• Now after seeing the two Robins together on patrol frequently, the criminals know there are two of them, one nice and the other a little devil. They hope it's the nice one who catches them because even to criminals he's polite.

• He became the heart and soul of every society event held in Gotham ever since he turned 15 and was allowed to attend.

• He strives to be the perfect son, friend and elder brother. Sometimes it is pressurizing for him but he feels that as the eldest adopted child, a lot is expected from him and he has to fulfill it all.

• He has played both wingman and matchmaker for Bruce multiple times though that's without his permission. Since he's very friendly with the ladies he has met at the society events, he keeps trying to find the one for Bruce, much to the elder man's embarrassment.

• He has an unbelievably good friendship with Talia Al Ghul as well, much to Bruce's concern. Bruce fears that Talia might use him for her own gain but surprisingly, the woman is genuinely fond of Grayson and doesn't put him to any harm. (Her son on the other hand is a story for another time *insert evil author cackle*).

• At the age of 22, he finally created a separate vigilante identity for himself as Nightwing.

• Jason's death affected him a lot and he partially blamed himself for not going with Bruce to Bosnia instead.

Origin story: (follows canon storyline with slight modification)

In this story, Richard never got into an argument with Bruce to result in him leaving for Jump City. So in this story, he did not form the Teen Titans group but he has stayed for some time as part of the Young Justice upon Bruce's suggestion.
