Chapter 7
A page was working the elevator. When Jeon entered accompanied by Tae, the page nodded politely, while trying not to stare at the strangely dressed young man. Then he pushed two buttons. Instantly, the elevator doors closed, and they started rising. Less than a minute later, with a warm ding the doors opened again, and the page declared that they had arrived at the penthouse.
"Penthouse, ay", Tae muttered sarcastically, raising one eyebrow. Jeon did not say a word. He placed a hand on the young man's back and guided him out of the elevator and to the left. Jeon turned one last time around, smiling at the page who was ogling at Tae. Jeon nodded towards him, still smiling. The page nodded back rapidly, pushed his two buttons and disappeared again behind the closed elevator doors.
Swiftly, Jeon joined Tae in front of the penthouse. Out of his wallet he took a magnetic card that served as a key. He inserted the key in the holder, but the little lamp would continue blinking red. He took out the card and put it in once more. Again, the light stayed red. As Jeon started fumbling at the card, Tae observed him. No wonder he could not open the door; his hands were shaking.
"I hate this system", Jeon muttered under his breath. Then Tae put a hand on his and with the other hand he took hold of the card. Silently, he rubbed it against his leather pants before inserting it a third time. The light switched from red to green and the door was open. Tae entered. Behind him, he could hear Jeon sigh.

As expected, the room Jeon was staying in was luxury. The entrance hall led straight to the bedroom which was at the same time a living room. The bed was a king-size and the coverlet and the pillows were pure silk. Tae gazed in awe. The decoration too was all luxury. A crystal chandelier hung over the living room and illuminated the piece in a warm golden light. There was antique furniture and the softest rugs Tae had ever laid eyes on. From the bedroom, a golden ornated door led out to a balcony. A balcony on the last floor of The Grand Hotel! Never, Tae had dreamed standing there one day. He turned to Jeon, pointed with his chin to the balcony and asked, "May I?". Jeon smiled at him and nodded approvingly.
While Tae was standing at the balcony gazing at the city that stretched out at his feet, Jeon got comfortable in an armchair and started going through some letters and paperwork his secretary had given him this morning.
"The view is breathtaking!", Tae exclaimed when he came back into the living room a few minutes later. "I must take your word for it", Jeon replied. Dazzled, Tae wondered, "Have you never set a foot on the balcony?" "Actually... no.", Jeon replied and looked up from the handwritten letter he was holding. "I am afraid of heights", he explained.
"So how come you own the penthouse?", Tae asked while moving towards the sofa, taking off Jeon's coat. "I was looking for a penthouse on the first floor, but I could find none", Jeon replied sheepishly.
Tae turned around and smiled at him, but Jeon's attention was again on the paperwork.
"So now that you have me here, what will you do with me?", Tae asked him a little harshly, exasperated by Jeon's apparent disinterest. "Well... to be honest, I have no clue!", Jeon answered. At least Tae's words had made him look up again from the letters. "This was not planned, I remind you", he added.
Tae was pacing around the room, looking at the decoration, trying to hide his annoyance. A golden clock ornated with flower motives that looked like art nouveau had caught his attention. "So, do you ever do something that's not planned?", he asked Jeon while staring at the clock. "No. Never", came the reply.
"Yeah, me too", Tae sighed, then let himself sink into the sofa. "Actually, you know what? That's not true. I don't plan. I never plan. I live from moment to moment. I take things like they come", he spitted out, revealing his feelings for an instant. He instantly regained control over himself and his features became calm once more. He then nodded to his own words, waiting for Jeon to make the next move.
When Jeon did not say anything, Tae became all nervous again. He tried to hide his annoyance from his "client", but he must admit that he had never had a client such as Jeon. First, he had refused him, then he had told him to spend the night with him in this huge hotel and now he was sitting there, doing paperwork while the clock ticked, and he was losing his money on Tae not doing anything with him? Tae was not used to make such easy money. He should be glade about it but at the same time his pride would not allow it. He was not used to be rejected. He was good-looking and he hella knew how to do his job and to satisfy his clients.
Startled by his pride, Tae addressed Jeon once more. "So... would you mind paying me now?", he asked trying to remind Jeon about the deal they had made. Jeon looked up again and nodded a little embarrassed, "Of course! Sorry!" He took out his wallet where he had stored the keycard and was looking for some banknotes. "You take cash?", he asked. Tae hid a smile; Jeon clearly had never done this before. And somehow this made Tae happy.
"Sure. Works for me", Tae replied. He got up from the sofa and moved towards Jeon. He took the money from him and sat down right on top of the desk Jeon was working on. This move was of course intended and should provoke a reaction from Jeon.
As Tae was sitting there, counting the bills one by one, Jeon was looking at him, taking in the boy's features. He was perfectly built. The skin he could see through Tae's transparent shirt made him feel things he should not feel as a straight man. But worse than the skin he could actually see, were his thoughts that turned around the parts that Tae actually hid from Jeon's view. He shook his head, trying to get rid of these weird feelings and thoughts. This could not be.
Jeon wanted to hide these thoughts not only from himself but also from Tae, who he assumed could read people easily enough. Therefore, he shook his head once more and focused on the obvious. "You are on my letters", he simply stated. Tae being again entirely back in his role and job, replied seductively, "That's someone I haven't been on before".
As Tae replies, his eyes search for Jeon's, wanting to decipher his client's emotions. There we go. Jeon's eyes widen at his wordplay and he gulps. First signs that he might eventually fall for him.
Tae smiles at him his naughty smile and bites his lower lip, just to see the other's reaction. He doesn't have to wait long for it. Jeon starts blushing and he runs his hand through his hair; a clear sign that he wants to hide his embarrassment and feelings. Tae's pride is less hurt by now. He loves the effect he has on Jeon and he loves even more the way he tries to resist.
And that is when he decides that it is time to step up the game.
Swiftly, he puts the cash away in his bag. Then he moves a little on the desk, positioning himself at the center, right in front of Jeon. Their legs touch, but Jeon does not move away. Tae then opens his bag again and takes out ten or more little squarish packages.
"I've got green ones, blue ones, red ones that taste like strawberry, orange ones. I might even have a purple one. And I've got this golden one. It is a king-size, but I think this would fit you just fine.", Tae says amused.
Jeon's eyes widen as he looks at the golden condom that Tae shakes right before his face.
