WE GOTTA STOP.
BABY was nervous. So incredibly nervous as Tyler settled himself between her thighs.
But she trusted Tyler. She'd known him all her life, and even if he wasn't in love with her or anything, she knew he'd never pressure her to keep going should she want to stop.
When dating Jesse for those four months, she hadn't been ready for any kind of intimacy with him. But here she was with Tyler and ready to let him go down on her — and more if he begged her for it in that same tone he was using now.
"Baby," his said, his voice thick. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for how I've been. Let me make it up to you."
Baby's cheeks flushed something mighty as she nodded. "But you don't have to."
"I really, really do," he said before brushing his nose along her covered core, shutting his eyes for just a moment as he took the moment in. Took in how soft she was and the way she was gently brushing her fingertips through his hair. "I'm so sorry for how I've been to you. And I just don't understand how I'm lucky enough for you to still want me after all that. Just please, please don't hate me."
"I'll never hate you, Tyler," Baby told him softly.
In fact, she was terrified that it was quite the opposite of that.
Then Tyler opened his eyes once more and kept them on her anxious brown ones as he hooked his fingers around the band of her underwear, pulling the blue fabric down her legs. And Tyler groaned at the sight when he finally looked down.
Feeling a bit shy, Baby tried to draw her knees up, but Tyler quickly forced her legs back down before spreading them apart, taking in an eyeful of her pretty, untouched cunt. So, she sat up on her forearms to watch him curiously.
"God, everything about you's perfect, Baby," he muttered. "Bet you taste just as perfect too."
Keeping his eyes on her face because he so desperately wanted to see how she reacted, he brushed his thumb against her clit teasingly, hardly applying any pressure. It made her suck in a sharp breath, which just egged him on, encouraging him to keep going, applying more pressure as he rubbed slow — agonizingly slow — circles against her clit.
"Oh," Baby hummed, her eyes falling shut as he sped up. Her head fell back against the mattress, no longer holding herself up.
"That feel good, Baby?" he asked, kissing her thigh once more.
"So good," she breathed out. "Want more."
"Yes, ma'am," he set before leaning in, replacing his fingers with his tongue.
And the new sensation had Baby gasping for air as his tongue circled her clit before his lips wrapped around it, sucking on the bundle of nerves. She couldn't help the way her hips bucked up into his mouth, seeking more.
But suddenly, Tyler pulled away while splaying a large hand on her stomach, pushing her hips back down into the bed. "Stay nice and still for me, Baby," he said, giving her a hard look.
She nodded weakly as he returned to the task at hand, tongue lapping at her folds. As he did so, Baby grasped the sheets between her fingers tightly, focused solely on how it felt as Tyler's tongue painted a masterpiece between her legs.
Tyler moved lower after a few minutes, and she drew in a sharp breath as the tip of his tongue teased her aching entrance. When he delved in, he did so fervently, jaw working tirelessly as he ate her out, spurred on by the low moans and whines leaving her lips, a symphony of his own doing.
"Ty," she moaned, reaching down to tangle her fingers in his hair. She couldn't help but pull on the tresses tightly, and he moaned against her, clearly liking the sensation of having his hair pulled. "Baby, I'm close."
And god, something about hearing Baby call him her baby drove him wild as he brought his thumb back to her clit, making her choke on an escaping moan as he did so.
It was all so perfect, the way his fingers rubbed quick circles at the same pace that his tongue was fucking in and out of her, brushing her sensitive walls. Soon, her legs were shaking and her toes were curling as she came on his tongue, a cacophony of moans leaving her parted lips as her eyes rolled back momentarily.
And it wasn't even over as Tyler kept licking up every ounce of her release, making her twitch as he placed a long kiss to her clit, running his skilled tongue over it once more as she struggled to catch her breath.
Then Tyler kissed up her body, hands trailing beneath her t-shirt as he reached Baby's lips once more, kissing her roughly, tongue exploring her mouth and spreading the taste of her.
And now, as he hovered above her, she could feel his hardening length pressed against her lower thigh. So, testing the waters, she lifted her leg the slightest bit, brushing against it. Tyler groaned and ground his hips against her leg, unable to help himself.
"Baby," he moaned, rutting his hips against her once again desperately. "We gotta stop. If you ain't never done this before, this ain't the right way to do it."
"What about you?" she asked, her heart melting over the thought that he was taking the fact that she was a virgin into consideration. To prove her point, she brushed her thigh against his hard-on yet again, thinking the moan that he let out was such a perfect, pretty sound. "Don't seem very fair."
Tyler moved to kiss underneath her ear, nipping at the skin teasingly. "Wouldn't be the first time I had a cold shower while thinkin' about you."
Baby whimpered at the thought of him doing that while thinking of her.
"I'll make it right for you, Baby," he promised. "I'll make it what you deserve. Not some quick fuck before we've even had our first date."
"We're gone have a first date?" she asked hopefully.
"Well, yeah," he said, chuckling a bit as he held her hand. "That's part of dating, you know? We'll find a night real soon. One where your brother won't bother us, and I'll take you somewhere."
"I like the sound of that," she said, intertwining their fingers. "I like that a lot."

Baby didn't pay much attention at breakfast, but to her credit, she carried out basic conversation with Javi, learning more about StormPAR and his time in the army. And he showed a genuine interest in her struggles at UCLA as she opened up.
But when Tyler and the rest of the crew walked in fifteen minutes after it started, she couldn't help but glance at Tyler when he passed. And god, he winked at her, and she couldn't help but giggle, which made Javi raise an eyebrow.
"Last night go good, I'm assuming," he said with a smirk.
"No, last night was a disaster," she admitted, smiling down at the table. The table that was covered in five plates of food that were all Javi's. "But this morning was nice. So, I owe you a thank you. Evidently, jealousy and toxic masculinity are good sometimes."
"Well, I'm glad it worked out," he said. "You've looked real happy all morning. Nice to know Owens isn't completely the worst — but never tell him I said that."
"I'll take it to my grave," she promised.
"Well, well, well," Boone suddenly said, walking up to them. His narrowed eyes were fixed on Javi as he crossed his arms. "I don't like the sight of this one bit. Baby don't date, Javi, so how about you just pay the check and leave."
"Boone," Baby hissed. "This ain't a date."
"Yeah, and Baby lost a bet, so she's paying," Javi chuckled. "You wanna join us?"
"No, I don't know about no joining you," he scoffed. "You or anyone makes a move on Baby, and I'll know. I'll feel it in my bones. I got my eye on you, Javi. And that Scott fella too."
"Trust me, she's not Scott's type," Javi said, snickering as Baby raised an eyebrow, getting the message that Boone didn't quite.
"Please. She's perfect in every way, and that makes her everyone's type," he said stubbornly. Then he looked at his amused sister. "Baby, if Javi here makes you uncomfortable, you throw your coffee in his stupid face and burn him, am I clear?"
"Yes, Sir," she nodded, saluting him jokingly. "I'll keep him at bay."
Boone nodded happily. "Good. Now, come back to our table when you're finished with this here."
He turned to leave before stopping and frowning at Javi once more. "And Jesus, Javi, you got a hell of a stomach to be eatin' all that. Hope you don't throw up on Scotty Boy — or if you do, make sure I'm around to see it."
Baby just giggled as Javi huffed childishly, pushing his plate of pancakes with bacon chopped up in the syrup away from him. As Boone walked off, Javi looked between the siblings.
"He has no clue, does he?" Javi said before noticing that Tyler kept glancing at Baby not-so-subtly.
"No, I don't think so," Baby admitted, thinking back on how Tyler had her bent over a pool table just days ago. And Baby was always, always staring so pathetically at Tyler. "He's not stupid or anything, but I guess he ain't bright when it comes to some things."
"Or he just trusts Owens too much to think he'd ever mess around with his sister," he told her, thinking from Boone's perspective.
Baby looked down at the table sadly at his words, which he instantly noticed. "Hey, now, what'd I say?"
"Just, uh, I just hope Tyler isn't just messin' around," she said quietly. "But I understand if he is—"
"Now come on," he said, shaking his head. "A guy don't get as pissed as he did last night for a girl he just wants to fool around with for a bit. Don't doubt that for a second. Trust me — I'd have been the same way if I saw some guy dancing up on Kate like that."
He must've been somewhat right, she supposed. If not, surely Tyler would've slept with her that morning like she so desperately wanted. He'd have gotten what he wanted so easily if it was just about sex.
That gave her hope at least.
"So," Baby said, trying to push past her insecurities. "Tell me more about this Kate you seem so smitten with."
Javi smiled shyly down at the table. "She's um, she's a girl I met in grad school. One of my best friends. Or she used to be. Something happened that... got between us. Haven't seen her in five years."
Rather than ask what happened, she focused on the girl herself. "Well, what was she like?"
"So smart," he said, shaking his head. "She was studying meteorology. But she didn't need all that education. She just had this way of knowing how a storm was gonna act. Kinda like Owens."
"And every time she'd laugh, I swore I fell more in love with her. Yeah, she's beautiful but her laugh? It was my favorite thing about her," he went on, staring at his hands. "And I miss her a lot."
Baby reached across the table and grabbed his hands comfortingly. "Where is she now?"
"I'm not sure," he shrugged. "But she grew up near here. I guess her mom would know."
"Well, maybe reaching out is worth it. Maybe she misses you just the same," she told him. Then she smiled. "And maybe..."
"What?" Javi asked.
Baby just tilted her head. "Well, you said she's just as good as Tyler — not that I believe that. But y'all are struggling to get all your data. Maybe Kate would wanna help."
"I hadn't - I hadn't thought of that," he said, slowly thinking it over. "But if anyone could help us..." Then Javi beamed at her, squeezing her hands back tightly. "Damn, Baby, you may have just saved StormPAR."
And though Baby didn't really agree with what StormPAR stood for, she was still happy to help Javi out. She could tell — or at least she hoped — that they'd be friends for a long time.
