I'm here for you
It was yet another quiet day in the literature club, fall was starting to make it's presence felt, the burning heat of the summer disappearing more and more each day.
The purple haired member arrived at the club first as usual, very rare the occasion when it wasn't that way during the year she had been there.
Yuri sat down in her usual spot in the middle of the clubroom. For some reason she liked sitting there instead of next to the windows or the back like most people did.
Soon, the second member to arrive appeared and Yuri couldn't be more disappointed as the pink haired member just entered and glared at her in that annoyed way she always did.
The only thing Yuri hoped everyday was that she didn't talk to her, because it would always end up in yet another tiring argument between, whether it was because of their differences in opinions about literature, or Natsuki's rude way to say things in general.
Luckily for her, Natsuki seemed to be in quiet mode that day, so she simply kept reading her book peacefully and waited for the other two members to arrive.
But reading always made her lost track of time, hours could pass and she would barely noticed.
"Aren't those two coming or what?", Suddenly, the voice she prayed not to have to hear said, forcing Yuri to come back to reality. "I-I don't know, they always get here late anyway", Yuri replied serious.
"I know that! But they usually just take 15 minutes or 20 as much to arrive, it's been half and hour now", Natsuki said. "Well, t-then we can say they are most likely not coming today", Yuri replied, still not wanting to even look at the pink girl behind in the corner.
"What should we do then? Wanna share poems or something?", Natsuki asked sounding a bit tired. "I'd rather not, w-we should leave", Yuri replied as she closed her book and sighed.
"Hah, fuck you then. If you're so scared of me then just go away already", Natsuki huffed. "I'm not scared of you, Natsuki", Yuri replied firmly to Natsuki's surprise, since she actually wasn't.
"Then why are you running away, huh?", Natsuki asked feisty as ever. "I'm not. I-I'd rather not have to deal with you", Yuri replied annoyed.
"What's that supposed to mean?!", Natsuki said walking towards Yuri with her face red from anger. "G-Goodbye, Natsuki", Yuri said swinging the strap of her bag over her right shoulder.
"What? Is it because I'm not a pretentious jerk like you? I'm sorry don't act like I'm so superior like you", Natsuki said angry. "T-This is exactly what I'm trying to avoid", Yuri replied sighing annoyed and tried to walk away but quickly, the shorter girl grabbed her bag to pull her back.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!", Yuri asked angry almost tripping over one of the desk as she was forced to turn around and face the feisty girl. "You listen you stupid idiot! I'm not gonna tolerate you trying to make less of me you hear me?!", Natsuki said pointing at Yuri like she was guilty.
"T-Then why don't you start behaving like someone your age and stop being such a crybaby!", Yuri exclaimed angry. "Who are you calling crybaby, crybaby!", Natsuki said blushing embarrassed and mad.
"Clearly you!", Yuri shouted. "Nnngh! See! This is why you have no friends! You always act so high of yourself and shit! Heck you won't ever get a boyfriend! No way anyone would like to date a pretentious bitch like you!", Natsuki exclaimed furious.
"Y-You don't have a b-boyfriend either!", Yuri replied blushing outraged. "Like I fucking care! I don't want a boyfriend! Boys are gross! I don't like them!", Natsuki shouted back.
"Eh? So then you're...", Yuri then asked a bit confused before trying to fight back. "Yeah! I like girls! Got a problem with that or what?! Oh, let me guess, now you're gonna use that to make less of me? You fucking close minded idiot!", Natsuki exclaimed.
"Wha- no! That's not the point! A-And I bet you don't have a girlfriend either!", Yuri again fought back. "Tch! So what?! I can get one whenever I want! Unlike you, people do like me! I-I just haven't chosen one", Natsuki said looking away and crossing her arms.
"Y-Yeah, sure like anyone would like you", Yuri muttered. "And why not huh?!", Natsuki asked furious.
"Because you're insufferable!", Yuri exclaimed blushing a bit. "Wha- So are you! No one wants to be around you! You have no friends outside the club! No one cares about you! If by a miracle you get a boyfriend they'd dump you in less than a week! You're worthle-", Natsuki started shouting back but abruptly stopped as she noticed the look on Yuri's face, her lips trembling, her violet eyes looking as they were about to get watery at any second, her head going lower and lower in shame.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit! I fucking crossed the line! No, no, no! I didn't want this to happen, now she's really gonna hate me! Freaking fantastic Natsuki! You just sent any chance you could ever have with her to the depths of hell! ...gotta do something and quick!", Natsuki thought and panicked, unable to say anything yet.
"L-Listen to me! I bet you wouldn't even last two days as my girlfriend!", Natsuki shouted out of panic, immediately regretting her words. "What?", Yuri asked now confused, which somehow managed to get her to control her incoming sorrow.
"Y-Yeah! I'm an awesome girlfriend you know?! But even I couldn't last two days with someone like you!", Natsuki said feisty and nervous. "Shit, what am I saying now?!", Natsuki thought as Yuri just couldn't bring herself to respond yet.
"In fact! I'll show you! I'm gonna pretend being your girlfriend from now on and you'll see it for yourself! But don't even get excited because I insist I ain't gonna last long before you make me dump you!", Natsuki said blushing madly and nervous almost to the point her legs were about to start shaking.
"Fine", Yuri said looking at the floor. "Eh?", Natsuki simply said, confusion being her epitaph now.
Natsuki then noticed the sorrowful expression on what she could see of the purple girl's face, something that made her heart clench and almost made her hug her tight and want to protect her immediately.
"O-Okay then... I'm gonna pretend you've never been the jerk you've been towards me and that I'm dating you because I want to now, you do the same!", Natsuki said nervous and pointed at Yuri at the end of her phrase. Yuri simply nodded.
"Wait, did this just happen? Seriously? We're... Dating now? ... Although I said it's pretended but... That means I can act like... Like I've always wanted to act around her... Then...", Natsuki thought and immediately understood the new possibilities open to her now.
The pink girl would not waste another second.
"Starting... Now!", Natsuki shouted and immediately hugged Yuri tight but gently enough for the purple girl to blush surprised and open her eyes wide like a runway a B747 could land on.
"It's okay... It's okay now... I'm here for you", Natsuki said in a soft and tender tone as she started running her hand across Yuri's long purple hair and buried her face a bit on Yuri's shoulder.
"Y-You chickening out or what?", Natsuki then asked afraid as she felt no response from Yuri yet. "N-No", Yuri said nervous but then her body started to relax, little by little, Natsuki's surprising tenderness calmed her down, along with the sweet strawberry scent coming from her hair now right under her nose.
"You're beautiful, okay? Let's just... Go home now", Natsuki said blushing deep red as she broke the hug did her best to look at Yuri in the eye and smile reassuringly. Yuri simply nodded blushing lightly as well.
Both girls then left the club without saying another word, walking next to each other until they crossed the school gates.
"S-So where direction are you going?", Natsuki finally asked to break the awkward silence. "412 street", Yuri said shyly, running her fingers through a strand of purple hair.
"Cool! I'm heading that way too", Natsuki smiled cutely and surprised Yuri by gently grabbing her hand while she was still fiddling with her hair to intertwine fingers with her. "What?", Natsuki asked blushing lightly and a bit feisty as she saw Yuri looking at her nervously.
"I'm your girlfriend okay? Couples do this kind of thing, relax", Natsuki smiled a bit nervous as well and put her other hand on top of their held hands. "If you feel uncomfortable though... Just tell me", Natsuki said shyly.
Surprisingly for her though, Yuri just denied with her head, still looking at the ground embarrassed. Natsuki then let out a quiet sigh of relief to then start walking hand in hand with her temporary girlfriend.
As they walked home, the awkward silence came back, however it wasn't that what worried the pink girl. Natsuki could feel Yuri still tense through her hand.
Natsuki made her best effort to think of something to make her feel less nervous towards her, understood Yuri may still not trust her and this situation completely.
"Yuri, if you ever need or want to tell me something, like anything, just do it okay? I'm here for you and I'll do anything for you, you know?", Natsuki boldly say as they kept walking and the blush on her face grew.
"T-Thank you", Yuri replied shyly but Natsuki felt the tension still not going anywhere. "Yuri...", Natsuki said and gently grabbed Yuri's hand with both of hers and made her stand face to face again.
"I promise I'll do anything for you, I really will", Natsuki said looking at Yuri in the eye and sealed the deal by kissing her hand softly. This made the taller girl's eyes sparkle and her face go completely flushed.
"Now come on, let's keep going", Natsuki smiled sweetly and intertwined fingers with her again to continue the way home. Finally, the pink girl's relief came as she felt Yuri's more relaxed little by little, she even felt a gentle squeeze from her at some point which just made her smile internally.
...
"Okay, so it seems we part ways here... Umm take care and-", Natsuki started saying after finally reaching the point they had to go separate ways. "D-Do you mind coming o-over to my house?", Yuri suddenly asked cutting off the tsundere girl.
"E-Eh?! I mean sure!", Natsuki exclaimed surprised and flashed the cutest smile Yuri could swear she'd ever seen. "Lead the way then", Natsuki said finding it hard to hide her excitement as she grabbed Yuri's hand and dragged her along to keep walking hand in hand. Shortly after Yuri would just correct the way they needed to go.
========================
"Shit your house really is fancy", Natsuki said as she took her shoes off and admired the big and elegant inside of the already impressive from outside house of the purple one. "So, what do you usually do here?", Natsuki asked as she followed Yuri to the living room and sit next to her on the wide black leather couch.
Yuri didn't reply and simply moved closer to her temporary girlfriend, shyly leaned against her shoulder and waited for her to respond. Natsuki's heart began beating like crazy and the storm butterflies inside her stomach went out of control.
Natsuki felt an undescribable joy and even though deep down she knew it was all gonna end eventually, she decided to push that thought aside and enjoy the moment.
The pink girl wrapped her arms around Yuri and held her close, letting herself lost in the sweet intoxicating lavender smell coming from her.
She felt the purple girl's body easily giving in to the embrace, a bit tense at first, but quickly letting Natsuki know she wanted that.
"Is something wrong Yuri?", Natsuki asked gently. "Come on, you can tell me anything", Natsuki said holding Yuri tight and reassuringly after seeing she wouldn't respond.
"E-Even if it's just today, I-I want to feel how it is t-to not be alone...", Yuri muttered shyly into Natsuki's embrace, causing the pink girl's heart to shrink. "You're not, I won't let you feel lonely, never again", Natsuki said without thinking, only speaking what her heart truly felt.
And so they stayed. Natsuki embraced Yuri tight, rubbed her shoulder tenderly and lost herself in the lavender essence that she had come to love in no time.
The pink girl however, still managed to have a part of her mind focused on the time passed.
At 7:30 pm, she knew it was time to go home no matter how much she didn't want to.
"I'm sorry I have to go, but my dad is a bit strict about the time I must be home and all", Natsuki said, now at the front door of Yuri's house. "I-It's okay, I-I don't want to cause you trouble", Yuri said a bit ashamed.
"But I stand by my word, so just give me your number and I'll text you if you want...", Natsuki said a bit nervous, hoping this wasn't too much for Yuri. The purple one just nodded and reached out her hand to receive Natsuki's phone and type her number there.
Natsuki was already thinking about what she'd text her the moment she arrived home and did her best to hide her eager smile. "Okay, then see you tomorrow!", Natsuki said smiling sweetly and gave Yuri a quick hug to then run back home with a smile that seemed like it would never leave her face.
"I still can't believe this. It's like literally the best dream I've ever had, and I've had a lot involving Yuri... It just feels so real and at the same time, it doesn't... She didn't talk much after she accepted my improvised and not so fake way of asking her out... She just seemed as confused as I was but in a different way", Natsuki thought as she walked home.
"Two days... Is the limit I kinda set but no way in hell I'd dump her in two days, I don't wanna. Not in a week nor a year nor a decade! But... I'm scared she'll be the one to put an end to this game of pretending being each other's girlfriend... I'll delay it as much as I can, this may be my only chance with her and I gotta make the most of it, I gotta get her to like me as much as I like her. Now that I managed to skip the part where I finally stop being dumb and become friends with her to eventually try and win over her heart, it should be easier to show her how much I actually like her", the pink girl thought, determined on not wasting this one in a million chance.
"What also worries me... Is that thing she said about not being alone, I still don't know much about her, but I'll do my Best to get to know her and be the one she can lean on!", Natsuki thought and smiled excited, running faster to text Yuri as soon as she can.

Pretty purple: It's about a meteor that one day falls near the house of this family, but when it did they noticed an strange color they noticed something like a flash of a color they couldn't really describe, then they see the meteor or thing that fell is that same color, eventually it starts spreading some kind of madness throughout the citizens and that's pretty much where I'm at at this moment.
Purple lover: Oh well, doesn't sound that scary at least (๑•﹏•) I maaaay even be able to read it, like we could read together, would you like that?
Pretty purple: It would be nice.
Purple lover: Then it's decided! Tomorrow at club we'll start okay?
Pretty purple: Alright. You don't have to feel forced to do anything though.
Purple lover: I don't, I want to know everything about you and I want to spend time with you (⸝⸝⸝´꒳'⸝⸝⸝)
Pretty purple: I thought you'd dump me in two days...
Purple lover: Yuri...
Pretty purple: I'm sorry, I just feel a bit lonely again, I say stupid things when I feel like that...
Purple lover: Lonely no more purple babe, here's your amazing girlfriend for you! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
Pretty purple: Thank you.
Purple lover: Okay, now talk to me about all the things you've read, your favorites, your least favorites, anything you want!
Pretty purple: Okay... Umm my favorite is called portrait of Markov...
And so they continued, Natsuki kept her eyes stuck to her phone's screen, waiting for Yuri to replay, read and tried to memorize everything she shared about her and did so hoping this would be just the first of many conversations between them until they fell asleep.

A/N: Hola brothers.
Yeah, I know what you're thinking.
"What the fudge is wrong with this dude and his obsession with writing Natsuri?"
I don't know the answer sadly haha.
Anyways, again ideas that came to my head and wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote them down.
This time I wanted to write Natsuri from the couple perspective, since the other fics I've written recently are focused on building their relationship until the confession and usually end there,
So yeah this weird idea to make them a couple already skipping all of that came and I liked it, since I just didn't like make them a couple from chapter one without a good context and build up for the confession, so this idea was a way around for that that convinced me.
This one will also be short, I expect it to be 3 or 5 chapters as much, just some fluff and maybe a bit of smut even.
Thanks again for stopping by and stay beautiful!!
That is all!!
